I cannot live without this shampoo! I have very fine, long hair that is prone to split ends. I used baby shampoo from the time I was born till I was 20 years old because every single "grown up" shampoo weighed my hair down and would not rinse clean enough. The lack of super-suds in this shampoo allows me to have very clean hair. Coupled with the conditioner (and occasionally the repairing mask) I can confidently say that I have the best looking (and best smelling!!) hair on the block.
If people are weary about price, I use 5 pumps of the shampoo and 5 pumps of the conditioner every other day to have clean hair and nice second day hair. The 50$ + change pricetag for those 2 bottles lasts me at least 4 months (even when guests share my toiletries). 150$/year to skip a few trips to the salon to get trimmed, silky hair, and a lasting scent; what's not to love?

I really like this shampoo. I don't like all chemical shampoos and I'm also not a fan of completely natural shampoos, because I never found anything that was nourishing enough for my hair. But this is it. It is mostly natural, has a good scent and it gives my hair a shiny gloss. The conditioner of the same line is great as well.
LOVE LOVE LOVE it! great for dry skin. MY HG shampoo. I feel it doesn't really lather well, but it has not SFL (or w/e that chemical is called) so that's probably why. After I use this my hair is sooo soft and conditioned! LOVE IT!
What can I say, I adore this shampoo. Got a sample of it when I was travelling and fell in love instantly with the scent. It's like a mixture of herbs, spices, sweets and it lingers so long more than other shampoos I've tried years before. It doesn't sud easily so you may use a bit more water at first. I have thin, fine, medium, highlighted hair and this shampoo gives me the right moisture and softness without drying it or making it lifeless and greasy. I use it together with the conditioner and it works magic. it also contains natural ingredients, not tested on animal :) This product makes my daily bathroom routine as one aromachologie therapy.

LOVE! I have mature, naturally curly hair that is prone to frizziness and breakage. It is also colored and foiled. This scent of this is strong -- so if you do not like it, it will really bother you. I love the sweet herbal scent and find it very refreshing. Does a great job. I would put it in the same category as Pureology -- this line being a bit more upscale and luxe.
My hair is color treated, short and styled back feathered cut, I use to use this shampoo and conditioner before when my hair was Not color treated and was long, now its short with chemically treated it still works fabulously well, my hair felt soft, smooth, and manageable, and shiny, I even used there bottle of leave in serum cream and it kept my hair ultra soft!! amazing, Now i have to go back to Loccitane store here in Ala Moana in honolulu hawaii and get me a larger size shampoo botte and conditioner ( the dry damaged formulation) , I also tried a test of there leave in spray, LOVE IT!!! my hair was not crunchy after spraying this on my air dry hair, will buy that leave in spray also, my hair is Now super manageable!!! a five star rating for my hair!!!

On my naturally curly 3b/3c hair, this is the best shampoo I've ever used...EVER! My hair was moisturized and extremely clean, without any dryness whatsoever.
Along with the repairing mask, these products are the best for my hair type and I won't be using anything else.
I purchased this shampoo (with a different conditioner from L'Occitane) during this past summer, and I used it once a week. The price was a bit steep but I wanted to try this new shampoo. The scent of the shampoo was lovely, and I continued to use it largely because of it. The shampoo itself did not seem to moisturize or repair dry hair (common in summertime where I live) but it didn't dry my hair either. It seemed like a very basic shampoo but expensive. The scent stayed with my hair past the shampooing which, for me, was nice.
I won't repurchase because while I enjoyed the fragrance, it was a pricey aromatherapy for a so-so shampoo.

The smell is pretty nice for this shampoo and the scent lingers a long time after your hair has already dried. Doesn't suds up very much - which is probably good when your hair is already dry to begin with.
While fairly expensive for a shampoo, and it doesn't seem to make a huge difference in the texture or dryness of my hair after using the product, I'd still consider a purchase down the road just because I like the smell of the product.
