I use this everyday over foundation because it evens my skin so wonderfully and gets rid of shine. Good to use throughout the day. I apply it with a different brush because the one they give is too small and kind of pokes your face. The packaging is okay but I wish the mirror was on the top lid so I didn't have to mess about with keeping the powder from spilling out every time I need the mirror. NONETHELESS- this is the greatest powder. Definitely recommend. And it's cool that it's made from minerals and talc-free.
I saw Jen at frmheadtotoe (my favorite makeup guru) talk about this product in a very positive way and I had to try it. I LOVE it. It is very soft so be careful when rubbing your face brush around in it but it keeps my makeup on sooo well all day and really finishes my face with a nice glow and softness. Definitely a keeper
I have been using this powder forever but only because you get a lot of product for a fair price. Its a very silky mineral powder and easy to apply. I just hate the packaging because its very bulky and the clear lid always gets scratched up really bad and it becomes cloudy looking which I hate. I use translucent because Im very pale (nc5-nc15) although it still has light coverage. I also would prefer it if they could make better skin tones for these powders (and everything else pretty much) I find that physicians formula tends to run way too dark and orange colored. This powder does fine though.

I hate this product. It makes my sensitive skin break out and it doesn't last very long, plus you need to apply a LOT to see any results. Cough up the money for Bare Escentuals instead.
I was once a BE fan but went through the stuff quickly so looked for a ds alternative. I used this as a foundation, buffed into skin like mineral makeup foundation. It gave me decent coverage and all was well but my dry skin didn't love it. Something around the same time made me break out horribly, dry scaly patches, though I don't think it was this, it only highlighted that. This is probably fine just as a powder, but if you have only some redness to cover its pigmented enough provided your skin isnt too dry like mine.
I have used this for years as my only fondation. I can wear any cream or lotion under it and it still lookes good. My skin is oil and with in a hour the powder has turned in to a nice looking makeup. The covereg is light thats it's only drawbake.

One of the best mineral foundations I have had. I had to use mineral make up after a peel and this has done the job thus far. It works great in tandem with the mineral correcting powder with this over top. It offers a natural coverage, your face doesn't look completely flawless but it looks good no less and it is able to breathe.
I have been using this powder for years because it's AMAZING.
i actually use this as a powder foundation because i found that once it blends with your skin's oils throughout the day, it makes you look airbrushed. i have combination and dehydrated skin, and it keeps my dry areas from looking cakey, and keeps shine down all day on my oilier areas. this is also so great for setting liquid or creme foundation if you do use it underneath. i usually use concealer where i need it, and this powder to set, and it works wonderfully overtop all day long.
however, as with most brushes that come with powders, don't use the one that comes with it. use a good quality fluffy powder brush for the best application.
can't rave enough about this though!

I have combination skin with an oily T-zone.I usually don't wear anything else except for concealer and this. I bought this originally to even out my skin tone but now use it as that and as a finishing powder to slightly mattify my face. And it works for about 5 hours before I have to blot and reapply. It's extremely silky so it kind of gets all over the place if you rub the powder too much or too hard. The compact comes with a flat brush in a compartment underneath the powder as well as a mirror. I actually prefer the mirror to be underneath because it remains a little more clean than it would be with the powder. The brush is completely useless so I use my ecotools blush brush with this. I tried this with a skunk brush and it didn't really work as well...
I took a lippie off for the useless brush and the $20 price tag (for drugstore, that's a leeetle pricier than usual) but otherwise would definitely buy it again.

I have very oily oily skin plus acne above that. Yuck! I know. I've been loyal to laura mercier products, but needed a cheaper alternative, my sis recommened me to use PF. I must say it does control shine pretty well..but I do agree with most reviewers about that brush that comes w it. It doesn't do a good job.
The packaging, to me It looks pretty cheap. Also, I dropped this onced and it broke and had to throw it away. What a bummer. Bought a new one tho.
