It is a nice foundation but not as long lasting as it should be - considering the price. I don't find it so good that it is the best choice out there for liquid foundation.
I think there are similar quality with cheaper price tag that I can get. I will not repurchase it.
This stuff is unbelievable. The most perfect finish and on me a perfect match in B20. I have both yellow in red in my skin and find that usually foudations look too pink or to sallow. This foundation covers well, and seemingly miraculously allows your skin to show through, but greatly improved. Pores are tighter, dark spots disapear. I wear it over my Avene spf 50 emulsion and there is no heavy or sticky feeling, even after hours in the sun. The coverage is sheer and yet completely present and lasts over 10 hours. I don't care that it costs a fortune. It will save me oodles on other products because this is pretty much all I need from now on. Talk about holy grail.

after my foundation line was discontinued I came across this in my search- LOVE IT!
My skin is at home in this I wear shade B20- really the best foundation I have ever used. I also go to my capture totale foundation - which is different but also very good- however this CLP foundation is fabulous- I wear my capture totale serum and cream and primer under and apply this with my fingers for a fuller coverage and use the CLP loose powder the best!

This foundation is the absolute best foundation i have ever used. After about 10 bottles of every other highly rated brand in all price ranges, I finally decided to plunk down the cash for this foundation. I had been avoiding it because I thought the price was obscene. This foundation makes me look perfectly radiant. I do have good skin, but I can get a bit red, especially at events with a lot of hustle and bustle, and this keeps my skin looking calm and beautiful. I don't know how they do it, but it allows my skin to glow thorough, while giving it a uniform look. No other foundation that I have ever tired has been able to do this - this stuff is amazing! I like the pump bottle too, because it travels well. This is definitely my Holy Grail foundation. Yes, I wish it was less expensive, but I find it worth every penny. I use shade B20 and I have light/medium skin - it looks better than the custom blend I had made for me at the now defunct Prescriptives.

Per Paula Begoun's critique:
PROS: titanium dioxide provides sufficient sun protection; smooth, fluid texture that blends well and sets to a satin-matte finish with a hint of luminescence; water/silicone-based foundation best suited for normal to slightly dry or slightly oily skin;
CONS: cost ($118) and limited access (sold only in select department stores like Saks Fifth Avenue); Paula warns that B10 is too peach and B20 is slightly peach.
GOOD2KNOW:
the color code: Each shade is prefaced with either a B (for Beige); an O (for ocher) an I (possibly for Ivory???).
Also, this (like most all foundations) wears better if you prime the skin beforehand with a skin-appropriate moisturizer, serum, sunscreen, or primer etc. You gotta put something under it.
Reference: Age 39. My skintone is in the family of MAC NW20. The SA recommended I try O20. I could ALMOST pull this off, but alas, it was too yellow for me. If someone with as much pink in her skin as me can almost wear this yellow-based color, I would say O20 is definitely a neutral, wearable, natural-looking, yellow-based shade without going too yellow. Dewey finish that doesn't turn colors or oxidize. Coverage is light to medium.
Yes, I would repurchase upon finding the right shade for me, which I believe I could do without any interference from an SA.

While I like this foundation, I wish that it were just a little less pink. The packaging is great and the product has a nice finish and texture. I like a dewy smooth foundation which makes my skin look flawless without appearing "masky". I also love the Amore Pacific foundation in the jar(Skin Renewal)

I just repurchased, just in a shade lighter. My old bottle lasted me a LONG time. I used it on daily basis for at least 2 months but it hasn't even hit the window. I only use half a pump of product and apply with a brush - don't know if this matters. I think this has good pigmentation that you don't have to cake the foundation on.
I also have dry patches on face during the winter and it doesn't cling to them or cake on them, which is GOOD, well, unless using too much. My Chanel Teint Innocence clinged badly to dry patches!
**Original Review**
This is insanely expensive just as the other products from the brand, but imo this just worths the price tag. I'm a die hard fan for their concealer btw.
Back to the foundation, it provides sheer to medium coverage when applied with a brush and a fuller coverage with fingers. It gives my skin a very nice glow - helps me to pretend that I have healthy skin, lol. It actually has some very very fine silver shimmer to do the trick. They are hard to see but they are there. I actually didn't notice them when the SA tried this on me and if I did realized their existence, I probably would steer away as I'm always afraid of turning my face into a disco ball.
This actually reminds me of my previous HG Chanel Teint Innocence liquid but this has way better staying power. To be honest, the staying power is so good that I don't need a touch up (more oilies at T-zone during summer but genrally normal to dry) - note that I wear my foundation for like 12 hours a day and now is still freaking hot and humid though it should be autumn here in Asia. I'm not sure if my Chanel loose powder helped or not - I used to use the Lola Pressed Powder to set my foundation. Anyway, even without oil blotting, my face doesn't shine too badly and of course, I would look better if I blot away the oil and apply loose powder again.
I always have issues to transferring some of the fdt to tissue paper when I sneeze and this is pretty much transfer-free unless rubbing deliberately.
I also like the pump bottle design with a small window indicating how much fdt is left at the back - such a user-friendly design for an opaque bottle. Well, I still prefer a transparent one - easier to figure out how much is left. Therefore 4 for the packaging.
But at the time being, I'm very sure that I'll repurchase despite of the price, which is the only thing I don't like abt this foundation. :P

I only liked the color match but nothing else really. It does feel light and feels like you are not wearing make-up but the staying power was very poor. I weared it for 4 days and took it back. If I am going to pay that much for a foundation it should have strong staying power. I went back to using Sisley oil-free foundation which has a much better staying power and also feels light. I wanted to try Cle De Peau from hearing all the good reviews but I was not impressed and will not be repurchasing.

Thanks to Hawko's generous thoughtfulness as usual, I got a sample of this foundation to give a test drive.
I was matched in I10 and while this blended wonderfully with the aid of my skunk brush, it wasn't as subtle as I thought it would be. It looks beautiful on my skin but it definitely looks like I'm wearing makeup which definitely isn't my main goal, for something that is light to medium I was kinda surprised it looked so unnatural.
For what it costs and the overall result, I don't think it's worth it. Something that you should splurge on if you like the polished foundation look but don't need the coverage of the cream version and definitely won't purchase this.
