I was really hoping that this product would work out, but it wasn't the right product for me. I have oily skin that is acne prone. Pros of this product: great coverage. Cons: My skin was so much more oily when using this product. I typically blot my face with blotting papers once or twice throughout the day; with this makeup I literally would blot my face and an hour later, it looked oily again : ( So, if you have oily skin, this is not the product for you. Also, it sort of made my face itch a little here and there.

I really wish this product worked better for me. But, if you don't have oily skin, I'd recommend this product! : )

I have tried a lot of mineral makeup brands from Everyday Minerals to Jane Iredale. I have to say that these are one of the best. They are expensive but that is because of the quality. They do not make my skin itch as other minerals and they stay put the whole day on my oily skin, which is a huge blessing. They look great in the pics despite their spf. I highly recommend these minerals to oily skin gals-

Overall Rating: 4.5/5
Pros:
-Light-Medium coverage (I used a little concealer, and it looks great!
-VERY natural looking coverage
-It has an EXTREMELY slight, slight shimmer. I like this because it gives my skin a healthy glow :)
-I would say the finish is satin. Matte/dewy.
It has not ONCE broken me out :D
-Color match is almost spot on to my skin tone
-Lasts on my face for a good amount of time (I also use ELF mineral face primer underneath)
Cons:
-I hate the packaging, I wish they would just skip the sponge/mirror and put more product in instead. I rather spend more money on the actual product then fancy packaging
-Adding on to my previous con, it doesn't last me a very long time :( I want my foundation to last me atleast a month. This only lasts me 2-3 weeks.

This is a great powder foundation. I have oily skin, and have trouble with large pores on my nose. After washing my face, I start with the Neutrogena Healthy Skin Enhancer as my "base", and a few minutes later, I apply this powder foundation. My skin looks great! I also feel like my skin can breathe. My makeup lasts all day (even in the summer) and I only need to blot oil minimally through the day. Neutrogena products are made with SPF, and contain nutrients that are beneficial to the skin. Highly recommend!

I LOVE this compact foundation. I've had this product for a while now just never did a review about it. It's very matte and as an acne victim I don't use it by itself and it's just not enough to be by itself. I would buy it again. I just haven't ran out because I don't use it much. My skin is always looking different every day. Sometimes my skin looks best with just a liquid foundation I set and sometimes it looks better with this matte powder foundation on. So it's not a daily product. However when I do use it I absolutely adore the way it goes on so smoothly all over my face balancing my liquid foundation out and overall giving me a flawless look. Keep this in stock Neutrogena!

light coverage, when used by itself. i think i'd rather use this over some liquid foundation as a setting powder. it doesn't last all day, by itself. neutrogena cosmetics never really help with my acne, it doesn't get worst or better. overall this foundation is okay, it's a bit overpriced for a drugstore powder foundation. but it IS by neutrogena, but it doesn't even help with acne.

My skin took a turn for the worse about 6 months. At the most, I used concealer under my eyes and on the occasional dark spot. Now, I have a face full of hyperpigmentation and acne. Absolutely horrible. So as I am working with a dermatologist to clear this horrible mess up, I have been on the hunt for a good foundation and/or concealer to cover the marks. So far I have tried dermablend, covergirl sensitive clean foundation, clinique, and korres mineral foundation. See my reviews for those if you are interested.

My skin is very very acne prone and very very sensitive. I did read the reviews on here for this foundation, but I took them with a grain of salt because some really acne prone people loved this but others hated it. So I tried it for four days. I use vanicream sport spf 35 which is NOT a matte sunblock and it can get greasy when the proper amount is used. However, this foundation clung really well to the vanicream and balanced out the greasiness. Although it says sheer, a few layers actually covered my really bad hyperpigmentation issues and I did not need a concealer. I used a cotton ball for application, it actually worked really well. Plus I never double dipped, I used a fresh cotton ball each time to keep the makeup clean. But, after a few hours my face would itch, but I just started using a new prescription, so I thought that had something to do with it. I did get new pimples during this time, but since I am dealing with full-blown acne, it is really hard to tell whether a product breaks me out or if I am just breaking out!! HOWEVER, I always pull my foundation down to my neck and face. I NEVER, and I do mean NEVER break out on my neck and VERY RARELY on my chest. With this foundation, my neck and chest itched along with my face.....and BAM, PIMPLES ON MY NECK!!!! So yes, now I know that this product was the cause of the itching (I do not use the topical prescription on my neck or chest) and the horrible new pimples. I also hated that the product had parabens, as I am trying to step away from that, but I was willing to compromise for one product if it worked well, BUT IT DIDN'T!!!!!!!

Also, I hit the pan within 4 days!! That is crazy!! A total waste of money!!

I always come back to this. It really reminds me of Laura Mercier powder foundation, though a heck of a lot cheaper (although still pricey for drugstore).

If you want something that is not cakey, blends well, doesn't oxidize, and has mild coverage (natural looking), then this is the way to go. It also has pretty good staying power. The color selection may not be as good as some brands, but I have always liked Neutrogena's cool to neutral undertones for make-up colors. The packaging is kind of bulky, and it does make it look like there is more in there than what really is there. I go through this container about every 2 months, and I don't think I use a large amount.

I find this works really well with disposable sponge applicators, but I know that's not as "green" so I'm trying to use a make up brush with it. I haven't been quite as successful with using a brush. Whatever you do, do not use the sponge that comes with it.

Great foundation, gives me light coverage and a slightly matte finish. The sponge smells though?! Don't know why. I have been using that because I haven't had time to get a kabuki, which I'd like to try using it with. I love how you store the sponge under the product with a big mirror, will come in handy. A bit expensive for a drugstore powder in my opinion. But will repurchase!

It is the best drug store powder foundation to me.
THE IMPORTANT TIP IS YOU HAVE TO IGNORE THE SPONGE APPLICATION THAT COMES WITH THIS POWDER FOUNDATION, AND APPLY IT WITH A GOOD DENSE BRUSH INSTEAD. Then, you will be surprised about its great coverage. It also lasts pretty long. Just in case, I made you want to get a brush, I want to recommend ELF STUDIO POWDER BRUSH ($3) and ECOTOOLS RETRACTABLE KABUKI BRUSH (around $10.99 at Ulta and Target)
