I went to a lush at Macy's in area for the sole purpose of getting the Double Choc lip tint and some emotibombs. Some how i walked out in love with a new fragrance.

I was very hesitant to try ANY of the scents because they are all patchouli or rose based, and both make me gag. The girls at the shop were so fun and helpful that I got a bit daring. I tried on Karma and Lust, and I initially purchased the latter. As I continued shopping, I kept sniffing my Karma side. I had to go back and exchange the fragrances, paying an extra dollar for the Karma.

On my body chemistry, Karma has a very warm, nuanced scent. The citrus notes brighten up the muskiness, while a sweetness smoothes everything out. Being a solid, the fragrance stays with me pretty well. The majority of sprays wear off of my dry skin in a couple of hours.

A lot of the reviews have complained about the fragrance tin. I don't know when they made the change, as I've never been into Lush products until recently, but mine came in a nice push pop applicator.

Plus it's beeswax free (vegan actually) so I'm not getting an allergic reaction to it.

I will definitely be repurchasing.

Love this!! I think it's a little less potent than the liquid versions of this one (and you're less apt to go wild with it when you're dabbing on a solid). I am mindful that this scent - orangey, patchouli, incense-y goodness - is not for everyone. DH doesn't really like it, but he puts on a happy face b/c he knows I just love it. I try to keep this one light on the application as I know it's a really unique smell that people either love or hate. But really, this smell is awesome. If you've ever walked by a LUSH store, this is the scent the predominates and escapes into the surrounding mall. Just heavenly!

I loved its herbal fragrance, it puts me on a calm state but my boy friend hated it. He told me that I smell like an old granny. I stoped using it that day.
So i could not recommend it to anyone:)

Back in the early 90s I had a friend who worked in this really cool, hole in the wall vintage clothing store. The smell of Karma reminds me of this place and those times. To me it smells like incense mixed with mustiness; a dark and heady scent. I only use a tiny dab on my wrist and that's enough. I could see this scent getting to me if I over did it, so I am careful to use it sparingly. The tin is tiny, but I'm sure since I only use so little it will last me a while.

People around me don't like this scent, one friend said it smelt like old grannies. I can understand why she would think that, it's a very musky, strong herbal scent. They would never think it was actually a perfume scent!
However, it has such a refreshing, relaxing, calming and stimulating effect on me. And I am really drawn to fragrances that smell like something edible. This kind of reminds me of lemons, but a lot nicer & sweeter version. I definitely recommend you sniff it out in the LUSH store.

Lush...you finally got me.I have hated all of the Lush products i have ever tried - for many different reasons, i found some ineffective, many messy and many overpriced but i fell for the Karma fragrance. I plumped for the solid version as it will be handy for travelling and also its very handbag friendly. I get lots of Orange from this fragrance...but a tangy orange. I wore this on a sunny day recently & it went so well with the weather - when i got a waft of it from my wrists it was so comforting and unusual....i am a convert!I dont find the tin hard to open - i just hope it is sufficently airtight to keep the perfume from drying out.I find the price reasonable also. continued >>

I love love love love love Karma!!!! After rationing out my first bar of karma soap, even putting tiny pieces of it in a locket, I finally got the solid perfume. It is amazing. The warm orange and spice really work well with my chemistry, and it's such a comforting scent.

The reason this product has such mixed reviews is because it's made of natural ingredients, and they will react differently to different people's skin chemistry. So don't let bad reviews put you off!

I really like this frangrance, it lasts for ever on me and it's so convenient, I just rub a little on my wrists when I remember in the day, so I don't have to remember to spritz perfume on in my hectic morning. It smells lovely, warm, spicy and a hint of orange, different to all the mass-produced perfume out there!

Very convenient to carry around as well. Expensive, but will last for ages, so good value for money.
