Thanks to MUA for introducing me to a great use for this product. I now use it after I squeeze a pimple. So far this is great at speed healing those areas and taking care of redness. Thanks to previous reviewers, I will now use it on my dry feet and lips as well.

This is very handy. I had a zit emergency...like a huge one was forming, and I was freaking out- it was red, a huge mass that hadn't yet come to a head yet...cystic etc etc. So at night I applied a little to cover it up, and by morning I noticed it had come to a head and had shrinked considerably. I know not to use it all the time though...cause your skin can get used to it and your So glad I got it!natural bacterias can become ineffective at fighting off bacteria over time etc etc (look up info online), so only for true zit emergencies will I pull this stuff out! but it works. I mainly use it for those zit cases but it's also great for the cuts and people use it on their lips and stuff.

This and Clean&Clear's Benzoyl Peroxide Spot Treatment are my HG skin care treatments!Whenever I have a popped pimple I put this on.What I do is clean the area with alcohol and then squeeze the tiniest drop out and rub it in.It's cheap,it works, and you only need a little bit.I will re-purchase when I run out which won't be for a while. continued >>

I use this this pain relieving Neosporin after I have done a chemical peel on my face, decollete and sometimes hands. The types of peels I use are from MUAC and they are lactic, glycolic and TCA. It is very soothing and helps to alleviate the stinging. Just another use for this great product.

I'm reviewing triple strength neosporin ointment. This is great for everything...rashes, lines, pimples, cuts, burns, dry skin. I use it on my lips and chin when i feel dry...it works better than a lip balm cuz its unscented. I really favor this for dry lips and lines around the lip and chin area that only are around when i'm dehydrated or have allergeric reactions to things. It's very soothing and doesn't thin skin out like OTC cortisone ointments and creams.

I actually started buying the generic Bacitracin/Neomycin/Polymycin ointment because it's cheaper, but this stuff rocks.
I use it to:
* Heal any raw spots on my face caused when I am temped to pick (bad, I know).
*Prevent bumps on my bikini line after shaving (this is the ONLY thing that I have found to work 100%).
Generic costs about $3.50 for a larger sized tube, which lasts quite awhile. A+

about 15 years ago i discovered neosporin first aid was excellent for acne. it won't over dry your skin and for those of us over 25 that's important. put a bit on the pimple before you go to bed, it will pull the bacteria up overnight to form a white head. after your shower put a dab more on the white before your moisturizer. you're pimple should be gone by the end of the day. and if you are a picker/popper, put it on after you're performed minor surgery on your pimple. it will help it to clear up and prevent you from scarring. oh, if only i had discovered this in my teens.

Neosporin +Pain Relief Cream is my acne and cold sore warrior. I dab this on when I feel the first tingle of a cold sore or pimple, and it seems to arrest their development and begin the healing process. Love it!

It's always good to have neosporin in your acne arsenal. This is really good for HEALING pimples and not diminishing them for 2 reasons. 1) it is an antibacterial agent and if used too often the bacteria in the skin and pimple will become accustomed to neosporin and overpower it thereby rendering useless. 2) neosporin is used for wounds, cuts and scrapes to promote healing. if you use this on a pimple, the skin will heal leaving the impaction, pus underneath your skin.
The correct time to use this is after you are sure that the clog, pus and fluid are drained from the site. I was taught by my facialist that after extracting the pimple to gently apply pressure to the site and if it hurts, it means there's still foreign material ie. clog or pus inside. Make sure the site is empty before you put neosporin or else your skin will heal over the clog, pus and bury it underneath.
That being said, it's very good at speeding up the healing process and should only be used in this manner.

THANK GOD FOR NEOSPORIN.
I pick at my acne on occasion (bad bad I knowww) and then I'm left with a potentially scarring situation. Overnight Neosporin immediately expedites the healing process. I wouldn't recommend putting Neosporin directly on a blemish or anything, but if I have to pop something or I pick at acne, Neosporin is my go-to. Just overnight the results are amazing.
If a spot is scabby or just hard to cover (some of those, I'm convinced, are impossible to conceal) put Neosporin on it, dab away the excess with a q-tip, and then put your concealer on a couple minutes later.

I use this on my feet, mainly my dry cracked heels. After a shower I just dab it on, maybe cover it with a bandaid. I also apply this to ragged cuticles. It works great. I actually dont have to use it on my feet anymore, it pretty much fixed them!

I have been using Neosporin for a long time. It really does work wonders if you have a really bad pimple. It helps get rid of the redness and the grossness of the whole thing. I use the ointment rather than the creme for staying power and apply right after my moisturizer in the morning and then conceal. I re-apply during the day. I really think it helps big pimples heal much much faster.

This should be in everyones medicine cabinet. I tend to pick at imperfections. I know, its bad for me and I shouldn't, but I do. Anyway with any scratch or cut or even burn I clean the area with Betadyne and apply neosporin and apply a bandage. it keeps everything clean and it wont allow it to get infected. This one is much better then the original because it is a cream and it has pain relievers in it. Helps and prevents scars as well. Amazing stuff.

I like this product for cuts and scrapes and only recently tried using it on bad pimples. I'm very concerned about antibiotic resistance in general so I do not want to overuse this. It basically keeps my boo-boos moist and kills any dangerous stuff that might be in there. It's not an acne treatment but may reduce the marks left behind; I do notice that the redness seems to go away more quickly.

This is obviously used for cuts and scrapes, but one day a ways ago I had a pimple I picked at that was scabbing and I decided to put this on because of the ingredients. It seemed to work and make the process heal faster, so now, every so often when I feel like I need a little extra healing from a breakout during that TOM, I dab it on...only once or twice a month* It says be careful.
I also read the other ingredients contain cocoa butter, which is supposed to be really good for scarring. So why not? I have sensitive skin and I have no complaints.

"You know like when you get a little zit right there and you pick, and you pick, and you pick and then it looks like #&@%$" - as Rosana Rosana Dana would say, well that is what this is for and let me tell you, it is a good thing. So good, I feel my skin healing. Just don't go overboard as overuse is not recommended. continued >>

You know how in the movie My Big Fat Greek Wedding Tula's father has an obsession with Windex and uses it as an all-purpose miracle worker and even tries to use it on her wedding day zit?
Well, this you definitely can. This heals and calms skin quicker than ANYTHING. Pimples, brazilian waxes, scars, anything. This is my holy grail of all multi-purpose products.
I also use this as a lip gloss! (The regular ointment, not the cream) It gives my lips a great shine and softens better than anything. I have notoriously chapped lips. The best lip treatment, ever, ever, ever.
One product I could not live without. I have like 5 tubes of this opened at a time, and bring everywhere.
*I've heard that some people are allergic to Neosporin and use Polysporin instead. Never my experience, but a heads up! : )

Over the summer I got desperate enough to put this on the horrendous bloody mess that was my face. I had very painful cystic acne that only occasionally flares up. When I get one of these monsters, I have to drain it before I go insane. I always though that neosporin was too oily to put on my face, but I was wrong. The cream works wonders, getting rid of the inflamation and scarring. I usually put a band-aid over it at night, so it won't spread over my face. It also speeds the healing. Too bad about the long term use.

WOW. Let me just start off this review by saying that for the past year, I have had the worst acne I've ever had in my life, due to a medication I was taking that is notorious for causing severe acne. I tried EVERYTHING I could get my hands on, such as Persagel, Neutrogena on the Spot Acne treatment, and countless other washes, masks, etc... NOTHING was helping. I was just about to give up all hope until I read about Neosporin being used as an acne treatment. I thought I'd give it a shot, and for the past few months, my skin has been remarkably clear. I just apply Neosporin Pain relief to the affected areas, and I swear I have never in my life had anything be so effective so quickly. I noticed a difference even after one day. My skin is now HUGELY improved and will continue to get better now that I'm off that horrid medication. So, PLEASE take my advice and give Neosporin Pain Relief Cream a shot!
