This little stick changed the way I look at drugstore concealers. I picked it up after hearing good things about it on youtube, It is a creamy, pigmented, medium coverage concealer. Blends very easily and hydrates skin without being greasy. I can use it on blemishes or under the eyes and it's super cheap. You definitely have to set it with a powder and I will say even then it doesn't have ALL day coverage. It does wear off after maybe 4-6 hours or so but with a little touch up your good to go. Love this little stick and would repurchase!
This product works beautifully! I love the creamy consistency, blending it is very easy and it has a good range of colors. I have very DARK and PUFFY under eye bags and this covers them up nicely. The one thing I don't like is probably the amount of product for the amount of money you pay. It's a little shorter than a lipstick balm but that's something that I'll deal with. The price an product amount is the only reason I took off a lippie. I'll definitely repurchase!
I picked this product up as a quick and cheap replacement for my Clinique airbrush concealer, and I ended up liking it better!!! The price is GREAT! I got it for about $7-8 at target. I use it for my under eyes and for blemishes!! This covers up blemishes great and makes my life sooo much easier when I do touchup throughout the day! It applies VERY SMOOTH and softly.
.stays on for only a couple of hours after applying without touching your face
.i have to try not to touch or itch my face on the spots I applied this concealer because even with setting powder, it will slightly come off.
I RECCOMEND THIS PRODUCT TO ANYONE!! If you have alot of redness from your acne I wouldn't reccomend it as much, but I would still reccomend it!:)
I have recently discovered a love for stick concealors. This is a good one for blemishes. After I apply my foundation with a flat top brush, I dab this where I need it and pat it to blend it in with the same flat top brush I used for my foundation. Then I powder to set it all and it really holds up well. I work 12-16 hour shifts so for me, I'm all about longevity and I would say it holds up most of my work day very well. I have the lightest shade and I'm NC15 and it matches very well. It's quite neutral toned (not very yellow or pink). I do find it funny when someone complains about it not working under the eyes. This type of concealor is thick and opaque and meant for blemishes, I really would use a separate concealor for under the eyes (my current favorites are Maybelline fit me, Maybelline dream lumi in radiant, and NARS radiant concealor). I tried it under the eyes once out of curiosity and it was a bit cakey and tugged when applying, which is pretty much what I expected. By its nature, what makes it great for blemishes will make it terrible for under the eyes. And I love the price. I gave this 5 lippies pretty much because of cost to effectiveness ration, ie quite cheap and very effective.
The key word is balm, and the first ingredient is squalane.
I don't have problem with undereye circles, my concern is the liver spots on both sides of my face (dry). The texture is creamy & easily spread, I am sure it will get better when the weather turns colder. It retails for Cad$9.50 at Walmart, which I consider it to be expensive for a drug store product, but the quality is definitely comparable to the Nars, or even Cle de Peau (I am waving goodbye).
Friendly warning, the colour of this concealer runs a bit darker. I am NC35 in summer and picked this up in light by mistake (which I planned to get light-medium). I do find it just a tad too dark, but is workable with a bit of lighter powder on top.
I'm pretty shocked at how much I like this concealer. I have pretty prominent acne scarring, so I've got quite a lot to cover. What I like to do is apply my entire face; foundation, blush, everything, and then I dab this concealer straight over blemishes or scars. I don't even use a fingertip or anything to blend, I dab it straight on, it covers the blemish, stays put, and looks great. It doesn't look like I've got globs of concealer on my face. The reason I don't use a fingertip is I think it lowers the coverage. I've used this under my eyes, and it's okay, I just like another concealer better for that area. This is fantastic for acne sufferers. Highly recommended!
This is the first drugstore concealer that I have used and I am quite impressed with it. It has a semi matte, smooth, buildable, opaque coverage. I like it for blemishes but I find that it does not help with under eye circles, it has a tendency to crease in that area.
If I am using this product, I am having a bad skin day. I apply the concealer straight to any scars or recovering blemishes. I put the product on my ring finger and dab at inflaming acne (I don't want the stick, which can drag, to further inflame my skin). If I am feeling very adventurous or zombie-looking, I will take some on a dome brush and put some in my under eye area, which only makes my dark circle look normal, it never really get better than normal. Then I take the fluffiest of all fluffy brushes and go over my face with it, blending the edges and over evening my skin tone.
If it is really bad, I'll use foundation too, but since this product is so smooth, if I'm using it at all, I end up using a tad more just to even out my face and call it a day. I find the finish really natural. When I go for the "no makeup" makeup look, it really looks like I have no makeup, just awesome skin.
Like I said before, there is possible creasing when using this product. Since I am 18, I highly doubt it is my fine lines, but when too much is applied it can look like that. I can never get the full coverage look without creasing or looking unnatural in any area. It does rub off the nose area by mid-day, otherwise decent staying power. There is no noticeable scent. The packaging looks cheap but it's not a large concern since it's application from the package is fine. It's a good product, I just won't buy the product again because a good concealer is not essential for me and I like trying new products.
This is a great concealer, although I must confess I'm not really a concealer person. I just don't seem to need as much coverage as a concealer provides and if I need a little extra, I just build up my foundation a little. I have to say though, that this looks beautiful, doesn't drag and blends well.
This is an AMAZING concealer!!!! I bought it Shoppers Drugmart about 4-6 months ago, because i really needed a concealer, and i thought I'd give it a try. It was on sale for 9$, not that cheap, but totally worth it! It covers everything i need to cover ! It covers my acne scars better than the glamoflauge concealer by hardcandy, and it stays for a reasonable amount of time, around 6 hours.
- AMAZING COVERAGE
- no fragrance
- doesn't cause acne
- tends to get a little oily on the t-zone. ( i apply it on my nose, forehead and cheek area and it gets kinda oily since it is a super creamy product. I have a reallllllly oily t-zone.. Just powder with a good powder and you're good to go!
Will be buying again!!!!
