For the price you would think it would last longer than 2 years. But mine died after 2 years. Do I like the clarisonic? Yes I do, I feel it keeps my skin really clean. It didn't do anything ground breaking to my skin, but I just like the clean feeling after my shower. I'm disappointed this died after 2 years. It just stopped charging one day. Cons: price!! So pricey!! Charging time.... Something like 12 hours. Head replacement is pricey. I want to buy it again but I want to look at other options.

I really don't know about this piece of kit. I purchased a Mia in September of 2013 and used it religiously once a day in the evenings until January 2015. For reference I have normal skin that sometimes gets a little dry or a little oily depending on my environment. I suffered from a few hormonal breakouts on my chin back then but other than that my skin is in very good shape. I bought new brush head every month, sterilised it once a week. Tried multiple different cleansers and different types of brush heads, and in those 15 months it made absolutely NO difference to my skin. I never went through the so called 'purge' phase and it never increased my breakouts or irritated my skin. It didn't decrease my breakouts either (or shrink my pores or increase my skins radiance or leave my face feeling smoother). It did absolutely nothing. Ultimately spending all that money on new brush heads didn't seem worth it, and so I passed Mia on to my mum. Lets hope she has better luck with it.

It's an ok product. No more no less basically...What happens with products that are so overly endorsed and hyped about is that you expect them to be complete miracle workers. And for its extravagant price, I definitely expected it to transform my skin. Which it didn't of course and I was a bit let down. Sure, it removes makeup beautifully, but that's not what you want it for is it? Bottom line is that it doesn't do more than any great exfoliating gel or cream would. There are also these exfoliating brushes in stores for like $5 that you can use instead and achieve the same result. The cleanser that comes with the machine is just lousy. Its stinks my eyes and after use it makes my skin feel super tight.I just think that it was a very successful marketing trick, they got a bunch of celebrities to rave about it and we all so stupidly believed that it's brilliant. Let me just be clear though. I didn't hate it. I just didn't love it. It's not worth ts money and it definitely doesn't validate all this hype around it.

So far I like this tool, although I'm using the standard brush it comes with. I bought the acne brush which I've heard others like better so I'm looking forward to changing that out.I have oily yet dehydrated skin which loves and needs exfoliation, however it is sensitive so there's a fine line. I do like that this helps a bit with makeup removal and a bit of exfoliation. What I can't stand about this, is that I use it in the shower in the morning and then the next morning I get in there and it's STILL WET. My shower is dry, everything is dry, but the brushes are still wet. I tried taking off the cap thing it comes with, and same thing. This freaks me out that there could be a mildew or mold issue with all of those tightly packaged bristles. I've been leaving it in my closet outside of the bathroom but that isn't very convenient. I've been spraying it with my makeup brush antibacterial just incase.I don't know if any of the others have a better drying mechanism (I thought I saw one has a stand or something). if that were to help I'd go with that one. Otherwise, it seems like it's doing what it says. I'd just advise to go slow, since it can be drying.

I am 23 and have had acne since my teens. Whenever I wear makeup, I break out. Whenever I try new products, I break out. I believe I have combo skin, but leaning more towards the oily side. My severe acne would come and go often. However, my acne has caused a lot of scarring on my face over these past years. At one point my acne did get progressively worse, which is when I went to Sephora and they recommended that I try out the Clarisonic. The Clarisonic has probably been the most helpful in clearing acne and removing makeup from my face. I got the "acne package" that included the acne (green) brush and the Clarisonic Acne Daily Clarifying Cleanser. I tossed the clarifying cleanser cause it sucked and instead used Kate Somerville Detox Daily Cleanser. My face cleared up a lot. The acne brush was getting a bit harsh after a while and it was time to change brushes (with can be $27 for one or $44 for two). I then changed to the Deep Pore Cleansing Brush and have been restocking on these brushes so far. I have been using my Clarisonic for over a year now.I have heard that using it every night can wear out the skin so I try to use it maybe around 3-4 times a week or on nights when I wear make up. I always melt makeup off using a cleansing oil and then use the clarisonic (plus facial cleanser) to remove remaining makeup. I bought the Mia 2 and it costed around $120 (including the cleanser..waste of money). By itself it should be about $100. It says to replace the brush every 3 months, but I use mine or about 5 months (heh..). I still break out (especially when I wear foundation or cushion cream) but I do feel the Clarisonic does help in preventing major breakouts. Hope this helps you!

I love this product. I would consider it one of my most important required beauty products. Before i used this product, i would spend ages scrubbing my makeup off my face, and i tone immediately after washing, and when doing do, I'd still have heaps of makeup on my face. After getting into a proper routine and getting used to using the mia 2 i technically wouldn't even need to tone my face anymore because I never have left over makeup on my face after using my mia 2. My cheeks are soft and smooth and if i do get breakouts, they subside a lot faster and blackheads are almost invisible compared to before. I know the immediate reaction and some initial breakouts may scare you... but my skin is so much better and softer now than it was before, i use the sensitive brush head on my skin but tend to use it for about a minute - and then maybe another 20 or so seconds after to go over everything lightly again. When cleansing I tend to put some cleanser on the brush head and some on my face also as it helps it lather up better. The initial reaction is worth the skin you'll see within a couple of weeks.

I purchased my Mia about a week ago. I have been using it twice a day. I got one pimple since I been using it. Other than that my skin is so soft and smooth. Really helps my dry patches. I got normal to dry skin. And using the Mia with good moisturizer. My skin glows. So I will keep checking in and see how this goes. After a month hopefully I still feel them same.

Best product ever!!! Totally worth the money. If you have acne like I did, it will break you out at first but if you just give your skin time it will work. I think the reason this may not work for people is because you have to start off slow. For the first week and a half I used cetaphil as a cleanser. Make sure you are moisturizing!!! Your skin can dry out and even break out more. After a week and a half of cetaphil, I started to use my dermatologist face wash with 10% glycolic acid and 2% salicylic acid. My skin is so smooth and clear. It's worth every penny!!

I have used this brush for about a year now and I completely love it! After use my face feels way cleaner than when I use my hands. I use it every night with the brush it came with ( I believe it is the sensitive one.) I have to charge it about once every two weeks. I can't rave enough about this product, it has helped with my acne and oiliness. But when I first started using it I hated it. For the first week, my face was like lizard skin. My face was so dry and peeled really bad. But after that it just kept getting better, until it started improving from my pre-clarasonic days. So if you are considering buying this I would highly recommend, but maybe don't start using it if you have an important event coming up soon!
