This is my everyday eyebrow colour. If I don't wear any make up , I will at least wear the brow wax! Its so handy with the wax, brow colour, eyeliner, tweezer and the 2 eyebrow highlighters. I have used this almost every day for the past 10 months and the colour and wax still haven't been finished. The brow highlighters are empty now.
The colour is build-able, and I find I don't need to use that much.. mainly just to fill in the gaps. The brushes are very usable and handy. I use the lighter brown the most on my tanned skin, I find the dark brow shadow is too dark for my sparse brows. Overall this is a a very convient and comprehensive eye product, I would definitely get this again!
Love it and will buy again. Perfect for my dark eyebrows. Really handy and nice kit.
This is one of my favourite beauty products ever! I was very lucky and my boyfriend bought me this for my birthday after much hinting, and now I don't know how I even used to leave the house without doing my brows. The packaging is beautiful as is all Benefit make up. It came with a very handy instruction booklet (I've never done my brows before so this was a life saver). The eyebrow wax is great at keeping my brows in place, and the dark colour is perfect for me. I love the double ended tool and the brushes are very soft. This kit is brilliant too as you get a great little pair of tweezers and a shimmery brow highlighter, and some of the 'eye bright' stuff (I already have the full size eye bright so haven't used the stuff in the brow kit yet). My brows look great from morning until I take my make up off. Its pretty pricey compared to buying a pencil, but the difference is just amazing. It's so worth it! Oh and I totally forgot you get a little eyeliner in the kit too! So much for your money!
This is my favourite Benefit product! I've had it for awhile now and I think it's a great kit. I use it daily, since I just feel more "finished" when my eye brows are filled in and shaped. It's not too expensive in Canada ($48) so I'll definitely repurchase.
I do really enjoy this kit. It is part of my daily routine. I say I would buy it again, but I am kind of on the fence due to the fact that it is $38 and I don't often use the wax, and I only use the lightest of the powders. The liner goes on nice but it doesn't stay all day and doesn't stay on my waterline for more than about an hour. The lighter powder I use is very nice, and that color is not available in the smaller browzings kit. I love the highlighting powder, it is just beautiful. It is basically palette/powder form of the highbrow pencil. Eyebright is wonderful for the corners of my eyes and I do actually use it to help conceal part of my undereye circles. As for the tweezers, they grab the hairs great and are nice quality, but they are so small. The brush is awesome, and I don't usually use brushes in kits like that. The only reason I may not buy it is that the browtech pencil from smashbox is $20 if I remember correctly, and I could simply use a light matte eyeshadow as a highlighter. As far as the packaging, it is cute but I would recommend keeping the outer slip of the box just to keep it secure. It is magnetized but I don't trust it in my purse without the slip. Overall a fun product! And definitely one of my favorites from Benefit.
My favourite Benefit purchase! This is a really great kit, with brow wax and two kinds of powder, a brightening cream, highlighter, mini tweezers and mini eyeliner. It makes such a difference to your face when your brows are properly filled in and shaped. It's very expensive in Australia ($68) but is money well spent as I've used it every say since buying it. A definite repurchase.
This is a really nice kit. It's my favourite purchase from benefit.
It actually works and looks good unlike other products from them, where the marketing is much better than the actual product.
Brow Poder and Wax:
The brow powders and the wax are amazing. It has lasted me forever. I've just hit the pan of the wax slightly but the powders are still going strong and I use them everyday.
Sometimes the light powder, sometimes the dark powder, sometimes I mix them. It's nice to have that option to go for a natural or dramatic look.
Something I only use from time to time, but still useful to have for a night out especially. I use it with my fingers to warm it up a bit before application.
I use it daily just on my brow bone. Great product.
Brushes and Tweezer
The brushes included are ok, but I prefer brushes with longer handles. The tweezers are cute, but a bit of a joke, like someone wrote before, they're only for emergencies.
It's ok, but it's not a product I would use that much anyway, so I can't really comment on it.
Looked a bit rugges after a while, but I like it. It's nice to have everything in one place, but it's a bit too bulky for me to carry around in my make up bag.
Would I buy it again? Probably not. I would get a Brow-Zing from benefit instead. It's just the best product in this kit.
Pretty much what everyone else has said. I'm about 2 weeks in to 'growing out' my eyebrows. My eyebrow shape was just wrong and I was a bit happy with tweezing my eyebrows, as was the lady who had been threading them for me! Because of this palette, I am now an eyebrow obsessive, I love that there are two shades as it can make it that more natural and that eyebright plus a brow highlighter are in there ! I have always wanted defined eyebrows, and as my eyebrow hairs are quite light I was never really going to achieve this without dying / makeup.
I'm happy with the packaging.. I don't knock my makeup bag around.. also about the tweezers.. they're just emergency ones! Perfect size for that - plus they are so cute ! The brushes are great too, I didn't expect much of them but they really do the job. Definitely buying again.
This palette rocks! I have very sparse eyebrows, but at the same time they are shapeless. To obtain a shape at all I have to remove quite a bit of hair, which doesn't help with the problem of sparseness. I had been using eyebrow powder alone for years before switching to this because I don't like the much too sharp look eyebrow pencils produce. I also made the unfortunately decision of trimming my eyebrows once upon a time so some hairs grow longer and hang down. My eyebrows really were in a pathetic state!
I did some research and started looking into Benefit brow kits, because I thought the wax first and powder second system would work better for me. I hesitated between Brow Zings and this, but ended up purchasing this because I liked how it includes a highlight powder and Eye Bright (which has mixed review indeed, but when I tested it out at the counter it worked nicely on me) as well as two shades of powder. Having to dish out 38 euros was tough (that's right, it's 38 dollars in the States and 38 frickking euros here), but I'm glad to say I don't regret it and I'm going to tell you why!
I wear contact lenses and makeup about 3 days a week, which means for the rest of the week I wear glasses. On the days I wear glasses this palette is absolutely indispensable. I first set my eyebrow with the wax (bye bye messy hair), and then I use the light powder on the first half of my brows following by the dark powder defining the arches to the ends. I blend some highlighter into my brow bones and Eye Bright on the inner and outer corners of my eyes (no brush is involved. My ring finger does the job just fine). The highlighter illuminates my brow bones naturally while Eye Bright makes me look more awake. Altogether they accentuate the natural almond shape of my eyes and I'm extremely pleased. With a bit of concealer I'm set for the day looking smart and alive! When I do wear makeup I skip the highlighter and Eye Bright steps, since I use eyeshadows to do the same thing. They hold on well enough too. My brows look exactly the same at the end of the day. While Eye Bright does crease a bit on the outer corners of my eyes (I don't use a primer for it), it's really not that big of a deal since I can clean that up easily.
I only give it 4 lippies because I am not a bit fan of the eyeliner in the set. It's a bit too hard and gimmicky for my taste. The little tweezer is OK though. I think people who complain about it expect way too much from a mini tweezer. It's supposed to be used for one or two stray hair and nobody should dream of replacing their normal tweezer with this! The tiny brush is pretty good too. I've tried to do my eyebrows with regular brushes but didn't like that very much for some reason, so the tiny one is just fine.
I will repurchase, but since the wax and eyebrow powder will probably run out before the highlighter and Eye Bright, I might go for Brow Zings next time.
I use this not just as a to-go kit, but as my brow staple kit. While I find the darker powder is too dark for me, the lighter one and the brow wax are staples. The eye-brightening effects of the two highlighters, one powder; one cream are astounding. Seriously. I sometimes reach for this to use the powder highlight alone. Good stuff, adorable packaging! (I'm also a sucker for mini products and to-go kits...)
