I received this as a gift from a friend who was visiting me,it came from an airport duty free set with an eyeliner and eye makeup remover.I have never tried it before but was very excited to try it as i had seen it mentioned more than once in magazines for best mascara..I was extremely disappointed with this product, does nothing special, the only thing i can put in its favour is its not clumpy but other than that a drugstore brand would achieve similiar if not better results.it didnt lengthen my lashes any what and i didnt find the results dramatic.I will stick to my ysl faux cil as i have not found a mascara better than that in the dramatic department.overall disappointed and would never repurchase at the price it retails for.

This is my hg mascara(for now). For refrence, I have light brown eyelashes, medium long, white at the tips, and fairly sparse. They do have a nice natural curl to them, and respond well to a curler. I think that those who need a more 'curling' mascara might not get as good of a result.

I am amazed at how long I can make my lashes with this mascara! And it's black!

I am a complete beauty product junky, and i've tried quite a few mascara's in my time. Most of them have been 'drugstore' brands, and dior definatly outshines them all. The only drugstore mascara that came close was a loreal mascara....i forget the name....2 phases.....in a weird wavy container....

anyway, it took forever to dry and left my eyelashed clumpier than dior show leaves them

This mascara is not for those who want 'natural' mascara. If you used one coat(one light coat), you might get the effect you're after ....but you get the most value for this mascara if you like to PILE it on. But still look natural.(sort of) continued >>

I bought this a while ago, and while it's a very good mascara, I don't use it all that often. The brush is just too big, and I find I have to be very careful or I get it all over the place. Plus, I don't think the price is justified. There are drugstore mascaras that are every bit as good. I did like the color though, Chestnut. Good dark browns are hard to find, and this one is really pretty, especially with my favorite liner, MAC Bountiful Brown Powerpoint. It did make my lashes nice and thick, and didn't smudge on me, but I can get that same effect with L'Oreal's Voluminous or Maybelline's Volum' Express. I'll use it up, but won't buy another.

For all the hype I've heard about Diorshow, I was somewhat disappointed with it. It is a good BASIC mascara -- it lengthens well, holds a curl decently, and adds some colour and volume. However, for the price (a whopping £18.50 in England), I personally expect something a bit more spectacular than that. I would prefer the overall effect to be a bit more soft and 'fluttery'; this mascara is by no means 'spidery', but does not give you lush, feathery lashes either.
My lashes are long, but not very thick. If you're starting with thicker lashes, I imagine this would be a HG buy.
The wand is large and catches even small lashes, making the mascara easy to apply. It also dries far more quickly than most of its cheaper counterparts, with a slightly glossy finish. The fragrance is pleasant, but quite strong and could irritate sensitive eyes.

For a day-to-day mascara, it can't really be faulted although it does have a tendency to budge easily in humid conditions. For more dramatic effects, Diorshow is not the ideal product.

I got this first years ago and did not like it at first because it was a bit awkward to use the large brush but after I got the hang of it, I found that it seperated my lashes nicely. I did not find any buildup but would run very quickly if you shed a tear. Years later, I purchased it again after using Lancome for years. I really love this mascara.

Tried this and have found that it's nothing to 'write to mom, sister, or girlfriend' about. It's just a regular mascara that doesn't do anything for my lashes really----nothing that's any more special than other store brands. I personally love Chanel Immitable.... It's the BEST. I put it on and my lashes all of a sudden make me look like a 'star'. One coat is all it takes. DiorShow isn't 'all of that' by any means. I won't buy it again. I will use it up because it's expensive but that's it..when it's done..I'm done.

It was HIGHLY recommended by the SA at Sephora so I decided to try---a bit pricey but I don't mind paying for great products... too bad it was a big let down. I truely don't understand why this product is so raved about. It smells good for a mascara but that's about it. The best mascara thus far is Prescriptives False Eyelashes and Lash Envy... doesn't smell as good as Diorshow but the results are outstanding!

After reading many rave reviews I had to try this stuff! I love it. I got it in chestnut and it's a very flattering shade! And my lashes are very thick without looking like I have 20 coats of mascara on!

Try this! It's very expensive but treat yourself.

I have really long lashes but they kind of lack thickness so my friend told me about diorshow so I bought it.I cant believe it , no mascara has ever worked so well with me. It doesnt make my lashes stick together and they dont flake. But the only downside is that the container gets separated from the piece that drains or wipes the mascara.

I liked this mascara at first, but not anymore. I find that it weighs down my thin sparse lashes down a lot. I'd curl my lashes and then once I put this mascara on, you can't even see my lashes! It did volumized it a bit, but you can't even tell after it flattened out my lashes. I wouldn't buy this again. There are better ones out there.
