Great if you have a steady hand and want long lasting eyeliner. Horrible if you're shaky like me and mess up frequently! Will not purchase this again.
I bought this because I read really good reviews on it but...
Not fond of this what so ever. A recent reviewer said that if you got it on your lashes.. it would be impossible to get off. True! This is really H20 Proof. No soap, shampoo, water, oil/oil-free make up remover can get this stuff off. You have to work QUICK. You need a steady & precise hand to use this. The felt tip is a little too thick so don't expect thin lines. I have the worst hand/eye coordination soo.. I can't use this.
Once it dries... you're doomed. You have to wait for it to come off by itself! If you try to "clean" your line & get some of the eyeliner on more area.. ugh even worse.
I don't use this ever. I wish I could because the formula is long lasting (LOL)!
I am not impressed with this liquid liner. You have to make sure you wipe it off of your lashes as soon as it gets on them or else it will be pretty impossible to remove and unclump without ripping your eyelashes out. Even after I let it dry, when I open my eyes it would kind of stick to the crease and also transfer the colour onto my crease as well. It was horrible. It also stung my eyes a bit. The only good thing was that it was a felt tip. Maybe it would be better if you don't have asian eyes where your lash line touches the crease, but looking at the reviews this liner probably just sucks. I prefer GOSH extreme waterproof liquid liner.
I REALLY like this eyeliner. It's really easy to use/apply. I can create the perfect wings. However, I canNOT apply it to my bottom lid/lash line. It irritates my eyes if I apply it there. This liner is also tricky to use though, because if I'm not careful, then I'd get it all over my lashes and make them clump together. I also have oily lids, and this stays on all day, even when I went swimming and was rubbing the water out of my eyes. Also takes a while to wash off (I use jojoba oil). I will use this up, but because of the lash problem, I won't be repurchasing, I will be sticking to their gel/creme liner.
I love this eyeliner! It last all day and is so inexpensive. It is definitely waterproof and does not smudge. I have oily lids and it even lasted all day and i did not prime my eyes. However it is uncomfortable if you get it in your eye so if your not good at applying eyeliner i dont suggest u apply it to ur inner eye lid. And if you rub u eyes raw and then put it on it will burn a little. But honestly if your curious about it i would suggest u try it because reactions differ from person to person. But i will contiue to wear it.
I don't generally use liquid eyeliners.. I love the look they give eyes, and when you apply it right it looks amazing.. But I'm just not handy at eyeliners, and this one in particular seemed difficult to use. First off, the tip isn't straight, and a lot of the product tends to gather around it, so you have to wipe some off, and then most of the product from the wand gets on your lashes which makes it harder to put your mascara on nice, and it smudges along the base of my lashes, I'll have a straight line and then at one point it'll be just a little raised. If you're a perfectionist and don't want to have to grab a q-tip to take this stuff off (which is also very difficult to remove!) and end up removing way more than you wanted, do yourself a favor and don't buy this.
This eyeliner stung my eye when I put it on! It was sticky and messy, and when I accidentally blinked while applying it, it transferred onto another section of my eyelid and it was impossible to remove. After using it for 1 week, I got an eye infection :[
The felt tip applicator is alright, I prefer it over a brush but it is a bit pokey. After I waited for 15 minutes for the liner to dry, it lasted the WHOLE day. Which made me vair happy :D
I used Lancome BiFacil eye make up remover, and after rubbing it gently I had to roughly scrub my eyelid till it all came off. Owwww, my eyelids were sore, red, and a little swollen.
In general, don't get the eyeliner, cons outweigh the pros.
This flaked really badly and made my eyes sting. I didn't like this product at all. Wet 'n' Wild's creme liner is definitely a much, much better alternative.
It burned my eyes, I really wanted to like it but I can't deal with something irritating such a sensitive area and it was so hard to remove as well. After a while the burning did go away but it's not something I'm willing to put up with. I am now using my go to eyeliner Mabelline Ultra Liner Waterproof Liquid Liner.
UPDATE: Not as long lasting as I thought. Recently wore it all day (w/ UDPP) in NYC and it smudged onto my upper lid area. UGH! The color is still nice, but having to deal w/ the consistency, smudging, and difficulty to remove...it's not worth it. May work better for ppl w/ non-oily lids. Changed rating from 4 to 2 and will no longer re-purchase.
Original post: I think I have a love-hate relationship w/ this liner. I have this in black-brown and I love the color for a more "natural" day-time look (kinda creates a shadow behind my lashes and makes them look fuller w/o having a harch black line). I am giving it a 4 b/c it definitely delivers when I need something long-lasting on my greasy lids, but it does come w/ some pit-falls. Read on if you want more details...
The consistency is like a thinner, harder-to-remove, quicker-drying version of Maybelline Ultra Liner (which I also like for long-lasting) - looks kinda glossy and plastic-like when it dries, but thinner like watery ink when wet. The applictor is kinda stiff and pokey-pointy, which is good b/c it helps w/ drawing a thin line, but then in combination w/ the consistency mentioned above makes it hard to achieve a nice even layer. If you make a mistake...good luck fixing it; having a lighter color makes mistakes less noticable, so I probably would not get this in black. If you get this on your eyelashes, remove it ASAP, or else it'll just grab on, clump your lashes together, and possibly pull some out if you try to remove the dry clumps. When the other reviews say it's hard to remove...it's no joke...this stuff would probably stay on for days if you didn't rub it off w/ oil.
Conclusion: When I want a super long lasting eyeliner...I will use this in black-brown for a softer "natural" look, and turn to Maybelline Ultra Liner if I want a bold black line.
