This is great! Can't beat it. Just too expensive

This is my top pick of my list. I do own others, like tint with primer from Urban Decay, but I always come back to this. I tried others like Nars, it's good but ran out so fast, compare to this, this last me very long time! I am fan for life!
gold standard. lost count how many of these i've gone through. if you were turned off from the original "genie in a bottle" type product-wasting tube they've redone it to a squeeze tube. i reach for this every single morning. i have SERIOUS oily creasing lids and this product performs.
This is the BEST product I've ever owned.
Without it, I would never be able to wear eyeliner.
My skin and eyelids are SO oily. I would wear black eyeliner and it would literally smudge all over my eyes and under my eyes within an hour. I stopped wearing eyeliner because it was so embarrassing to have raccoon eyes all the time.
This product works. My eyeliner still smudges but it's minimal and bearable. I still have to fix my eyeliner once or twice a day (like wipe away the smudges) but I'm okay with that considering what the consequences are without this product.
It's a little expensive however: $24 canadian but...
I give it 5 stars until I find something better :)
I hated when my eyeshadow would crease...leaving those horrible greasy lines.
So I finally tired the highly raved Primer Potion and have never looked back.
The packaging is great and the product has no smell, is easy to apply/blend (a pea sized amount), and it WORKS!
No creasing, faded colour or anything! The longest I've worn it is 15 hours and it stood the test!
The price may seem a little expensive but it lasts a long time, I've had mine for over half a year!
Another glowing review on this amazing eyeshadow primer..
A small tube of this came with my Naked shadow palette from Sephora in the US (low tax = beauty shopping heaven!) - I'd heard amazing things about it and was really excited to try it out. Since I'd tried many face primers which have fallen short of expectations I was a little skeptical as to whether this would actually work.
After applying a small amount with the wand applicator on both eyelids, I dusted a small amount of shadow from my Urban Decay palette on both eyelids, applying MAC Blacktrack eyeliner on top. Normally my eye makeup would become creased, oily and messy several hours later but it stayed flawlessly in place all day - couldn't ask for a better product! It also works just as well with cheaper eyeshadows. I noticed in the UK this costs £14.50 retail for a mini 11ml squeezy tube - not cheap but definitely worth it.
I noticed the packaging has changed from a large stand-up tube with a wand applicator to a smaller squeezy one - I much prefer the old style packaging but the product is exactly the same.
I have used a few different eye shadow primers and Urban Decay Primer Potion is by far my favorite. I find it works best for me if I apply a scant amount. Too much makes my eyeshadow look more creased. The squeeze tube is a definite improvement over the wand applicator. There is less wasted product. I have oily eyelids and this primer makes my eyeshadow last throughout the day, even withstanding 10 hour overnight shifts at work. It helps inexpensive eyeshadows perform much better. I use this daily in conjunction with NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk.
This is a great example of a product that is well-loved by woman from teens through their thirties and goes completely south for women in a higher demographic (unless you have super oily eye lids).
I have purchased this product periodically throughout the years and after the third time I wear this primer - or any primer - I look in the mirror and think I've aged twenty years! It simply dries out my eye lid skin and makes eye shadow look...hideous. I always end up taking it off! It actually emphasizes the wrinkles because of the way the product "dries" on the lid. Yes, my eye shadow will stay on forever. But, NO, I don't want it to!!!
So ladies, skip the primer and use a neutral shadow as your "base." If you're onstage and want or need super dramatic eye make-up, sure, this will help. But for daily wear shadow, forget about it!

Since they put this product in a squeeze tube I've loved this product even more. I hate having to use anything out of a pot, or with a wand that's going to contaminate the product. I've bought this product several times and it's the only thing that keeps my eye shadow in place! Avoid MAC paint pots if you have oily eye lids like me!
