I have nothing bad to say about this toner - I heard that tea tree was really good for skin so i'm glad I found and used a tea tree product rather than just applying body shop's tea trea oil to my skin which didn't really seem to do much good. This toner makes my face feel fresh and ready for moisturiser. It also did make my skin a lot less oily, I reccommended it to a friend who used it and loved it also! I ran out of this product and switched back to clinique's clarifying lotion for a bit which compared to this feels like i have coverd my skin in vodka (the feel AND the smell)-although the clinique is pretty good too.
Probably my HG toner
This is the first toner I have tried from LUSH. I love that it is alcohol-free. I noticed my T zone is slightly less oily when I use this, but haven't noticed a significant difference. I love that it is in a spray bottle, it is much easier to use that way. I said I wouldn't repurchase because I want to try the other two toners before I pick which one works best for me.
I really like this toner! Don't think its quite HG but I do like it. I prefer facial products without perfume in them, but since its at the end of the ingredient list the concentration must be quite low. Its also alcohol free which I like because it doesn't dry out my skin. I prefer spray toners because I like to apply my moisturizer while my skin is damp. Tea Tree Water feels and smells so refreshing. I do feel that when I use it my t-zone is less oily even in the summer time. Its also great for a mid-day spritz and it doesn't disturb my make up. I think its good value for the money too. I've had a 100ml bottle for almost 3 months now and I use it 2-3 times/day and still have about 1/3 of a bottle left.
It's good that this doesn't have alcohol like other toners but it feels like spraying plain water on my face, I first thought it was not doing anything but when I stopped using it for almost a month I think I see the changes, so I went and bought it again and yes! my skin texture looks better. I decided not to give another lippie because of the spray nozzle.
my new hg toner!! awesome awesome! i have oily break out prone skin and this has really helped clear my skin. it feels less oily during the day and i have not been breaking out. this whiteheads and blackheads seem to be going away. when i first used this i sprayed it and it did not seem to do much but it does. i then tried to spray some on a cotton round it worked well but it seemed to absorb in the cotton round quickly. so i just spray it a few times in my skin and pat it gently and let dry. if i have time i spray on a cotton round and then spray on skin.
This is my HG toner. It is mild with no alcohol to dry up my combo skin but strong enough to keep my skin clear. It has a very light earthy scent and it feels like you are spraying plain water on your face. With all the other toners I have every tried, they either felt sticky or burned or had very strong scents. Tea Tree water has none of that but is effective and comes in a cool spray bottle. I like to spritz it on before putting on my face cream as it makes it easier to apply. Although it is much more expensive than the drugstore brand I find it is worth the price and if your order it off the UK site it is cheaper.
Let me start off by saying that this is a very expensive product. $16.95 CDN for 250ml (thats only a cup, people!). But I really like it. It is refreshing and works well to rid my skin of the last of my cleanser (Fresh Farm). I would repurchase. I have seen no adverse effects of using this, only better, cleaner skin. Nice smelling too if you like tea tree.
This toner really knows how to clean my face. I just spray some on and then take a cotton pad and wipe it all off after cleansing. Itís also very refreshing. It doesnít cause irritation or anything like that. Itís not really effective in treating blemishes and the occasional break out, but then again thatís not a tonerís job. Overall, Iíd say that this is an above average toner, but not something I would repurchase because it didnít ďwowĒ me. It just does what any good basic cleanser is supposed to do. It picks up left over residue from cleansing and doesnít irritate my skin. Iíd say itís a good beginnerís toner.
average product that's sort of expensive. if you really want a tea tree toner i think kiehl's is better. anyway, this product felt so light and was really like a spritz. i didn't like the spray bottle. i prefer a toner i can use on a cotton pad, not a spray. i won't buy this one again.
This toner really does clean away the last traces of soap and make-up effectively.
It leaves the face feeling absolutely clean in a good way. Though if I've used a harsher cleanser of some reason, it tends to make the dry, tight feeling worse. But nothing a good moisturiser can't fix.
Ever since I started including this in my routine, I have had no cystic pimples and blemishes over all have been reduced in number. It is no magical cure, but I do believe it does help. And the smell is wonderful, though it does not last, sadly.
For me, this is a stockpile product. I always have one in my spare box alongside other necessities I think during the last year I've gone through four or five bottles of this so one bottle lasts a while at least.
