I bought this eyeliner with high expectations from the MANY rave reviews from my friends.
Needless to say, i was disappointed. I've been on the search for a liquid eyeliner that doesn't smudge... fail. While it performed well on my top eyelid, my thin application on the rim of my lower eyes went EVERYWHERE. I looked like a hot mess. Another con was the color. I purchased this in black, and when initially applied, was a gorgeous, rich, black color. After literally two minutes, the color faded to a soft greyish black color, which caused the bold line to look a little cheap.
Overall, the product is mediocre. I would purchase this again to create a thin defining line on the upper lid because of the price! (around six dollars) But I'm still searching for the perfect liquid eyeliner.
Love this liquid eyeliner! It does not smudge and lasts me all day! I use it in the dark brown color and love it!
I have gotten used to the applicator brush but if the runniness gets into your eye it burns like crazy! The trick to applying smoothly with out runny is to dab the brush on wrist, paper towel, etc and then apply! love this !
Good staying power, but don't like the brush.
I'm not crazy about this liner. The tip was difficult to work with and I found the pigment to be a little lighter than I expected.
This eyeliner used to be my favorite eyeliner and said I would never change. Well over time since the time I first started using it when I was 15, this product has let me down. I love my Revlon just as much as I love my Mac & Nars products. But back in 2007, this eyeliner wasn't the same. It use to leave a solid smooth black line and then it changed. I had to such a hard time trying to find an eyeliner similar to this one that had the solid smooth black line but I found one. I found that the Sephora Black Liquid Eyeliner replaced the Revlon eyeliner. Its smooth & solid line is the best thing I found to use if you are completely unhappy with the new formula for the Revlon eyeliner. continued >>
I just need to stay away from Revlon products in general. They always add some kind of irritation to my skin. I needed a new liquid liner and decided to try this one. When I got home, it seemed to make a good line. The formula was a little runny and it lost pigmentation at times. But it really irritated my eyes and burned. I can't use this stuff. I have to take it back.
I thought for a Revlon product and price it would be a good liner.. not worth the money. i paid $25 for this and my friend bought a $5 liquid liner. Mine smudged no matter what i put on my eyelids to prevent it from happening. My friend's $5 liner stayed forever and she could go to bed and wake up with perfectly lined eyes.
So yeah, go figure.
Oh and I use Australis now. Sooooo much better
This is my first liquid liner. I was always afraid to try liquid liners because I didn't think I could be precise with them, or not as precise as with a pencil. I can happily say that I was wrong! I love the brush on this baby! It is firm, but yielding and makes application a dream. The product itself is extremely pigmented and has a much more dramatic effect than pencil eyeliners. I haven't had any problems with this smudging (once it's dry) or fading and I have oily lids. I like the packaging. It's slim and compact and makes travel easy. I've got it in the deep brown color and would love to try the black soon. Overall, I will keep buying this as it has hit instant HG status and that rarely happens for me! The price is good (about $7 at Walgreens) for product you get. I highly recommend this to liquid liner newbies and pros alike.
My first liquid eyeliner and I love it. I've been using this around 2years. Not really opaque & staying power not for a long day but worth it with the price. Not smudge. But since this year, this product lacks pigmentation. Smudge easily. If I use it in the morning, around evening it start to fade a little bit. But will repurchase until I find my HG matte black eyeliner :) continued >>
