This brush has stumpy little bristles and is shaped like a bunny tail. That firmly packed, rounded edge makes quick work of blending my stick foundation. The first go with this brush I thought it was just ok until I realized I was applying too heavy a hand to blending. Once I eased up, I saw the big deal.
I have dry skin with large pores and with minimal buffing, it leaves my foundation looking like second skin. I was choosing between this and a BeautyBlender but this is a multitasker and won't get as germy as a sponge.
I own 2 of these brushes. I love them for bronzer and blending out my blushes. They are great multitaskers and I can use them for powder or cream foundations or blushes.
I love how dense the bristles are, and yet they are still soft.
This brush is unbelievable. It's soft, blends my liquid foundation flawlessly, leaves no streaks, doesn't shed, and costs less than $10. What's not to love? I'm kicking myself for having bought more expensive brushes. My only complaint is that every Ulta in town is chronically sold out of it...and after finally getting my hands on it, I see why!
I read all the hype about this brush but I figured that I did not need it. After all, I already owned a couple of face brushes that apply foundation well (Sigma F80 Flat Kabuki, Sephora Platinum Airbrush #56 and Elf Studio Powder brush). However, when I saw how affordable it was, I decided to pick it up and I am soooo glad that I did.
-Applies makeup flawlessly
-Dries super quickly
-Affordable (8.99 at Ulta, less if you use their 3.50 off $10 coupon)
-Dense, short bristles give you more application control
Liquid, creme, tinted moisturizer, mineral powder foundations: This brush is amazing for all. I have one of these and 2 of the other Real Techniques buffing brushes that are all just as good as this one for the same types of products. The only difference is this one has a little curve that gets into the corners of your nose and such. My only gripe with Real Techniques brushes are the super thick handles. They're annoying for storing, but that's all. I have a ton of Real Techniques brushes for the face and eyes and am so satisfied with the quality and function of all. Must have!
This is an ingenious brush, being a combination of the traditional flat foundation brush and the rounded/flat top buffing brush. It gets the job done with liquid foundation in a significantly less amount of time than it would take me with a flat top buffing brush and it's so easy to use! Sturdy and synthetic so it's easier to wash. I don't think I'll need any other brush for my foundation again. Recommended!
I can't overstate how great and affordable this line is. The Expert Face Brush is amazing for blending foundation, especially if you want perfect full coverage. I use it with Kat Von D Lock-It foundation and my makeup ends up looking flawless. If you're thinking about purchasing, do it!
I love this brush so much! It is very versatile but my favorite use for it is to apply foundation. It also applies cream blush beautifully. Im a fan of most of the real techniques brushes but I would say if youre going to purchase just one this would be my pick. It is super soft and just blends so flawlessly.
I have & use this brush to apply foundation. Its very soft, dense, & gives excellent results. You can get it at ULTA. Highly recommended.
My favorite foundation brush! I can't say enough about this line. These are by far the best brushes I have found, for the beginner or pro. Excellent for liquid, cream and powder foundations. The bristles are synthetic, but are the softest bristles I have felt, making them an excellent candidate for face brushes. Haven't had any issues with excessive shedding or falling apart. Fabulous price point, I purchased on iHerb.com, as sadly, these are not currently available in Canada. I will be purchasing more from this line!
