Well, I'll admit I am a bit sad at all the mixed reviews this product is getting. :( I absolutely love everything about this product--for my CHEEKS. While I can see how the glass bottle and brush applicator could be cumbersome, if you are careful you will not have any problems. And the delicate rose scent--it's wonderful! I think the key to success with BeneTint to follow the directions on the bottle to the letter--apply three small dots on the apple of your cheeks is all you need! (Although I should probably mention that I have very fair skin, and am not sure if ladies with darker complexions might need to use a bit more product for it to take effect!) Also, I find this product works best immediately after moisturizing and applying foundation. I apply the three dots, and immediately rub a small circle in the apple of my cheeks, and then sweep upwards to get my cheekbone. If you are quick, and do not use too much, I find this product easy to blend. It is a bit pricey, but if you follow this method of application, it will last FOREVER. I've had my bottle for several months now, and am not even 1/4 way through it! I would NOT recommend using this for one's lips. It sucks as a lip stain and should not be advertised as such. Plain and simple.
BeneTint perfectly compliments my *natural* look for the office or daytime! I have gently flushed cheeks all day long, I love this stuff!
What crap. This stuff is so messy and liquidy, I tried applying it to my cheeks, and it just dripped all the way down! Ugh!
This is a rather interesting product but I wasn't happy with it. I prefer NARS blushes and the idea of having this fushia stuff on my cheeks was not too appealing. I caved and bought it ($26!) and although it DID look natural on me, I still liked my NARS blushes better because they have a shimmer to them. I ended up swapping mine away.
I LOVE this product. I am also a huge fan of Philosophy's supernatural, and this is quite similar...except this has a very pretty rose scent. I use this on both my cheeks and lips and it works well for both. The bottle will last forever, too!
Hands-down the most horrible cosmetic product I've ever used. The minute I took the brush out of the bottle, the red liquid flicked all over my new white shirt.
In adition, it did NOT last on my lips and tasted AWFUL! SWAPPER BE WARE!!!
This was my first-ever Sephora purchase and unfortunately, was the worst. As a blush it was too hard to blend without looking streaky and as a lip color, the colors was fine but dried out my lips terribly! To make matters worse, this product contains carmine, an ingredient made from insect shells. Gross! I would not recommend this product.
A friend recommended this product to me one day when I was reminiscing about Max Factor Rosewater blush. I would like better spill resistant packaging. It tends to get *everywhere*. It has to be applied under powder. Best for my "minimal makeup" days. Have a sponge wedge handy to blend, blend, blend. Also great on days when I'm doing historical renactment for a flushed look.
I had coveted this product for so long, but was a bit anxious about trying it because of some negative comment. However, I'm pleased to say that I love it! I find it very easy to blend (with a little sponge) and the effect is so pretty.
I hated it. iLooked like a clown with two red dots when I put iy on! i do not think it is natural looking at all and the application is very messy!
What an interesting product - a rose-tinted (and rose-scented) liquid color to use on cheeks and lips. I was surprised at how well it blended when used as a blush (as long as you use it *before* you apply loose powder - otherwise, it is a splotchy mess) and now natural the color looked. I was also surprised at how nicely it colored my lips. One application gave me a very sheer, barely there flush. A second layer was a little more obvious, "just bit my lips" look. Three layers gave me the perfect natural rosy flush - all I needed was a little lip balm for shine, and I was set. This is a great look for women who are uncomfortable with lipstick, or for those times when lipstick just doesn't seem appropriate (i.e., at the gym) but you don't want to look "naked" either. I tried a 4th layer and it was too pink for me (a warm PPP), but it would look lovely on someone with cooler skin tones. Though the little bottle itself is not cheap, it will last forever.
