People seem to either love this or hate this...I love it! I have dry skin that always feels tight, itchy, and uncomfortable. This is the only thing that makes my skin feel comfortable-I just wish it had spf!

Mineral oil haters beware! This product does contain mineral oil. I used this product for a long time and now I know why it didn't work. The product just sits on top of your skin and doesn't absorb. I emailed Clinique so I could get the ingredients and they said that there really is mineral oil in it (but not in some of their new high end products, like the CX line).

If it works for you, then great. But I'd find something that is made better.

I used this lotion from my teens to my early twenties; now I use a Vichy sunblock during the day and something heavier at night. It's definitely a good price for what you get-- around $25 for a 4.2 fluid oz. bottle that lasts me up to six months. Light, non-greasy, and fairly unscented (there is a slight and distinct smell to it, although it's not very noticeable or annoying and fades immediately); very dependable lotion. I stopped using it when my last bottle ran out; it was starting to feel very thin to me, as if it wasn't absorbant enough-- perhaps my skin type was changing. Altogether, a very good and inexpensive basic for combination skin; more expensive than drugstore moisturizers but well worth it for its aforementioned attributes (light, non-greasy, unscented, etc.-- which more drugstore brands are not.)

The is the end all to be all of basic, everyday moisturizers. I have used this unassuming yellow lotion for 10 years, and my face has thanked me for it. It is good for all skin types and has traveled the road with me from my early 20’s oily to combo/dry 30’s, however, as my face is drying out more I feel the need to apply a second moisturizer to my drier cheeks and mouth (Fashion Fair Moisturizing Crème). DD lotion sets a smooth and dewy base for applying foundation or powder. It is very gentle and hypoallergenic. I can’t say anything good about this lotion that hasn’t already been said before-it has stood the test of time.

I usually love Clinique products but I HATE this moisturizer (if you can even call it that)...it does NOT moisturize well at all. I have tried using this at different points in my life because I always get the free samples with their gifts and everytime I am so disappointed. Don't waste your money...especially if you are dry...it literally does nothing at all.

This was my favorite moisturizer during my late 20's to mid 30's, but my skin has changed and now it just makes my face feel greasy. Perhaps, moisturizers have just gotten better (lighter) over the years.

I got a sample of this and I was so surprised at how bad this stuff is. I always thought Clinique has great skin products, and how wrong I was! I have oily/normal combination skin and only need a light moisturizer. But my skin doesn't feel moisturized at all after using this. Even those supermarket/drugstore ones work better. Don't waste your money on this!

I have very, very dry sensitive skin, and this product is crap. Greasy, clogged my pores and did nothing to moisturize my skin. You can get a much better product at a drug store. I rarely break out if ever, and when I started to use this I broke out. What a waste of money. NEVER AGAIN!

HG I call this my "Goldilocks moisturizer" because it really is "just right". Everything else I have tried has been either not enough moisture for me, or else it is too heavy and pore clogging. DDML just sinks right in. If your skin is oilier, the gel formula would be better for you. Be sure to use with their 3 step in order to get the best benefit. In winter I layer on extra, let it soak in and then apply more. You can follow up with moisture surge for a moisture treat.
