Really great drugstore powder foundation. I have very oily skin and I feel it helps control the oil on my face.

I generally like to add my opinion if a. the product is amazing or b. the product has many flaws. This I Love!! I don't know how I waited so long to try! I've read about this product in many beauty blogs in the last 6 months or so (when I frost started discovering and reading beauty blogs), but honestly thought it'd be look other drugstore brands I have tried in the past (Rimmel, Covergirl) and even some HE brands (such as MAC studiofix powder which was a long time favorite of mine. I wore MAC studio fix foundation powder for close to 10 years! For the first few years I used the powder sponge that came with the MSF and didn't realize/notice (not sure how/why??) that it was completely caked on!! Since cutting MSF off I've also tried MSFN in Medium Dark and loved it as well but cannot justify the price to wear to work and running errands, etc. This is an excellent alternative and I would recommend to all ages. I'm in my 30's with combo/dry/sensitive skin and am so impressed with the finish!

Honestly i hate giving bad reviews because it really tarnishes the mood and the reputation of a product. Upon aplication, I admired the matte look it gave me............ for like 20 minutes. I know narcissistic right? But after one day it gave me tiny little bumps between my eyebrows, my chin and cheeks.
Maybelline stick with concealers please.

I like this for a ds pressed powder. It lasts all day and doesn't oxidize. I am NW 20 and got Medium 0-1. The packaging is a bit cheap and bulky, but I care more about the product. I would not use this to replace my MAC MSFN though.

Age: 19-24 Skin: Sensitive, Fair, Neutral Hair: Brunette, Straight, Fine Eyes: Green

Pros:
- Very mattifying
- Sheer coverage
- Doesn't turn orange
- Natural colour (not overly peachy, pink or yellow. I have Light 4-5 and it is a very neutral beige which is perfect for my skin)
- Doesn't break out skin
- Inexpensive (maybe $10-15 CAD? depending on where you buy it)

Cons
- Sheer coverage (if you are looking for a fuller coverage powder foundation)
- Drying (not too good to use in winter)
- Package is weird, I don't like that the top flips and the bottom twists. It's confusing!

Overall, a great powder for oily skin, or any type of skin in the summer, and I will definitely repurchase.

I have two shades of this. The first shade that I purchased was light 4-5 (or something like that) and the other was the first one in the medium line (I think it's 1-2 cream or something). In the pan, the shade difference is quite outstanding, but when swatched, you can only see a slight difference in color. It's pretty much a translucent powder, if you will consider it so. Honestly, I really like it as a setting, translucent powder. It works great to set my concealer as well as my foundation. It's also pretty great just to throw on your face IF you have the right shade. The lightest shade is one that I bought on my own, not too long ago and the darker shade, I got from someone here on MUA. The texture is different in both shades. I'm not sure if it's because of the usage from the darker one (the swap on here) or if that's the way that it's always been, but the newer one is MUCH smoother. Either way, they are both great shades and powders. It CAN come across as a bit chalky depending on what type of skin you have. If you have dry skin, I honestly would not recommend this powder as it might make your skin look quite powdery and more dry than it already is. This would be great for people with oily or combination skin. I have sensitive skin and this doesn't bother me at all. I also have very large pores and acne prone skin, so if I use too much of this on my cheeks, it can sit on top and look patchy. I just use the e.l.f. complexion brush and use it all over my face. The brush isn't too dense, so it doesn't pick up a whole lot, but it picks up enough to place the right amount on my face. I also really like the packaging. The mirror is placed underneath the powder, unlike typical powders where there is a flip open package and the mirror is on the top, and it swivels from underneath the powder with the sponge pad included. It's really neat; Kinda bulky, but it really doesn't bother me at all. Overall, I really like this powder. In my area, I wouldn't buy it again simply because it's almost $8 here and I could easily buy it for about $5-6 online total.

I have gone through about 6 or 7 of these...I have extremely oily skin that is very sensitive and acne prone at times. This doesn't break me out, and when pressed firmly into the skin it controls oil like a dream. Doesn't look cakey and doesn't oxidize! Packaging could be better (I would love to have a bit more product) but I can deal because the product inside is fabulous.

This product just proves you don't have to spend tonnes of money on high end products, this is a great quality powder and you will probably find it down the road even if you live in the wops. I live in the wops. I live in New Zealand which is already quite woppy and in a country town hours away from a MAC or store that sells fancy pants makeup! So not only is this powder easy to find, it's CHEAP. It's finely milled, and I can put layers of the stuff on and it never looks cakey! Yesterday I went horse riding which can be quite a sweaty exercise (ie shiney face) but when I got back in the car to touch up my face I didn't need to..it was like this powder had soaked up all the oils. I looked all matte and fresh! And I had already been wearing it for a few hours! I don't suffer from extremely oily skin..i used to as a teenager so I know how it feels (wish I knew about this powder then) but I love matte skin, and this is just so nice. I absolutely LOATHE AND DETEST the feeling of liquid foundation on the skin gahh but this..I can touch my face and it feels clean, like I'm wearing nothing. Love that feeling. Mac MSF natural broke me out, had a lovely finish but actually made be oil up which wasn't cool. COVERAGE AND APPLICATION: sheer with just one layer, but I can easily build it up to medium - I use a small thin puff and gently swipe it onto the product and over cleansed moisturized skin until I am satisfied with the coverage. Then add mascara, blush and lippy..good to go!! I'm in love with this powder. $23 NZD. (cheap as compared to $56 msf plus petrol money to get it!!) The packaging is fine, you don't have to use the puff it came with (although could be handy for touchups) and at least it has a mirror unlike some powders even though it is a little fidgety to open. Don't waste you money on expensive powders when you could buy this, it does a great job! As for me, the extra moolah I saved by getting this is going into a savings account so one day I can buy my own horse :P :D Thanks for reading!!

After reading all the hype for this product, I gave in and decided to save some money and get this instead of my usual MSFN. I've used this for 4 months now, and I really don't like it. It's nothing special, and I find myself retouching my makeup more often. It didn't really sit on my skin that well (enhanced pore size, looked too "powdery" even with a light hand). Shade match was alright, and I liked the packaging with the swivel mirror underneath, but other than that it was nothing amazing. Will not repurchase, and would rather spend the extra $10+ to get something else.

talc talc talc talc.
are there ANY powders without talc?
Didn't find anything special about this, and can't bear to put it on my face because of the talc and other junk. I find a VERRRYY light hand with cornstarch works amazingly. Very light because it's so mattifying!
