I received a sample of this when it was first released and remember being surprised by how much I liked it. It was more sophisticated than I expected (of course, how would I know what to expect from Hilary Duff anyway? Lol). In the back of my mind, I marked this as "wouldn't go out and buy it straightaway, but might consider it down the line." Well, it's down the line now, and I scored a HUGE bottle of this + lotion at Marshalls for about $24.00. That was all the encouragement I needed. Wearing it again, I'm only "meh." It is nice, especially for the price point, but I'm not gaga on it. The mangosteen dominates the first phase with a sweetness I wasn't really expecting. Then, the cedar notes take over, which I'm not wild about. I predict I'll remain ambivalent about this one. Good for casual use, and work days, but a little uninspiring to me. When I finish my enormous bottle (l happen to like the flacon) I doubt I'll get the urge to buy it again.

This is a very beautiful scent. It's always been difficult for me to describe the notes in a perfume, but I'll give it my best shot! This scent is...feminine, it reminds of BBW's Sensual Amber or VS' Dream Angels Heavenly toned down a bit. It has a lingering musk and nice lasting power. Definately my favorite out of all of the celebrity fragrances! And the name/bottle is gorgeous!
The only down-side is it does give me a headache, which I think comes from the lingering musk.

Everytime I'm in the drugstore I take a teeny spritz of With Love by Hilary Duff. I don't think I would wear it much if I bought it - but I really like it when I'm in the drugstore, lol. :-) It has a warm, sweet quality that I enjoy, and I agree with the previous poster that it is quite sophisticated. Nice fragrance.

I’d been avoiding this because I thought I was getting too old for these tween celebrities releasing fragrances. I don’t mean to sound snobbish, but queuing up to buy something by Hilary Duff? No, thank you. I just couldn’t resist it in the end though. I’m very pleased to say I was wrong.

At first spay there is a pleasantly sweet fruit/floral top note of mangosteen fruit, mangosteen blossom & vanilla. Don’t be put of by this, admittedly these top notes doesn’t help peoples first opinions that WITH LOVE is a ‘younger’ scent.
It’s the middle notes of exotic spices, chai latte, balsam, incense and wonderfully ‘creamy’ amber milk that make WITH LOVE stand out from the crowd. I’m not sure how to describe the effect other then ‘warm’. The spices & incense aren’t too heavy, but lend a wonderful scene of sophistication. Not something I expected!!
The base of cocobolo wood and amber musk blends nicely with the middle notes, so the transition is very subtle.

What can I say? I was really surprised by the depth of WITH LOVE, and think it should be marketed for people out of their teens. It’s perfect for any time of the year, and for everyday wear, and evening or special occasions.

I recently purchased the 3.3oz 100ml Eau De Parfum Spray of With Love because I found it on sale at a discount department store for $29.99. I wasn’t expecting to love this fragrance as much as I do. I have never tried a celebrity endorsed fragrance before. It taught me to not judge a fragrance by it’s packaging. This fragrance smells like vanilla chai tea with a hint of sandalwood and amber. It is very sophisticated. It contains a fragrance called amber milk which is very fitting for the fragrance. It is hard to describe the essence exactly, but the fragrance smells very warm and milk-y, like spiced chai. This is my HG fragrance, so I would definitely buy it again.

My friend had sprayed this on me at the department store. The bottle looked like a big crystal jewel. Its very gourmand going on(reminds me of Burberry Brit) with a zingy twist must be from the mangosteen? The silliage was great, I felt the the mangosteen mix became more dominant afterwards.

Is this a joke?

I'm a little embarassed to admit that this is my HG fragrance. Normally, I avoid celebrity fragrances as often as possible, but I was dragged into testing it while shopping with my teen sister and her friends. I do have to say that I LOVE this perfume!

With Love by Hilary Duff is a soft, slightly musky/woody, amber-filled scent. It's light enough to be perfect for everyday wear, but sensual enough to wear during an evening out. The scent is sexy but playful, sweet but just grown-up enough for those who aren't a teenager anymore.

The bottle is lovely. I've never had a problem with the spray nozzle. The cap is easy to misplace, but so is every other cap in existence; at least this one is easy to recognize. My only complaint is that it's nearly impossible to get the last 5% of the perfume from the bottom of the bottle when it's nearly empty.

I'll be stocking up on this!

Ok I'm embarrassed to admit it, but this fragrance is really nice! I was skeptical because most celeb fragrances smell horrible, but this had a very nice. light grown up quality to it. For someone her age, Hilary chose well with this one, it smells very nice on my skin and the scent lingers for a long time. I'm not great at describing scents in detail, but it has a musky vanilla sandalwood scent to it, with a smidgen of fruit, almost like a pear? It's worth checking out if you're tired of the typical scents out there.

This smells like rotten, sickening maple syrup and licorice. It is cloying and headache-inducing.
