I have been using this with my straightner, curling iron and blow dryer for as long as I can remeber now! It makes my hair oh so very soft and shiny and protects it from the heat as well! I even go as far as to using it without heat products and just as a leave in treatment because it just smells so darn good! I would recommend this for everyone who wants beautiful hair even while using harsh heat on your hair!!!! Screw the expensive chi spray products this stuff is like seven bucks or somewhere around there! It is totally worth a shot!!!!
I've used this heat protector for three years now and it's quite good. The spray is inexpensive, light and provides protection.
The packaging is really good for a low end product. The spray packaging works well and there is even a little switch to stop it from spraying (so you can travel with it without worrying about spillage).

I was looking for heat protector that wasn't in lotion form and that was cheap. I asked my friends what they used, they said this product right here. It was also on sale when I bought it, making it 3 dollars instead of the usual 5.
I sprayed it on my hair in layers- and then flat ironed. My hair was really soft, and shiner than normally. It smelled nice too. My hair looked awesome and it reduces the damage little by little! I use this everyday- it's my holy grail for hair products! I LOVE IT!!
Overall- I would buy this product again and again and again!

This is my cheap go-to heat protectant spray. I really like it! I've been using it for about a half a year now because I must admit I just recently learned that I need to be helping my hair be more healthy and I wanted to grow it out long with out having to go in to the salon because of split ends. Sooo I bought this and I really love it! It smells nice and makes my hair really shiny and soft. It does feel a tad sticky-ish a times, besides that it protects my hair very well. I do get some split ends but for the price and quality I think they're worth it. :)

My review is: MEEH
lol
No, seoiusly It doesn't do anything to my hair anymore.. regular water would be the same.. it smells nice, and clean.
I used this for 3 years.. but I have to stop believing in it because my hair just got used to it. When I first bought it, it helped me a little with split ends.
But now it just do nothing. It makes my straighten time a little dificult.

I used to use CHI 44 Iron Guard because it made my hair super super soft and sleek and it protected against heat damage really well. The only problem is that it's super expensive for a small bottle. I picked this product up at Wal Mart about 4 months ago for about 5 dollars and I love it. It basically does everything CHI 44 does: it leaves my hair super soft after heat styling, and super sleek, and it protects against heat damage really really well. The only problem I have with this is that it doesn't give my heat styled hair much shine. So after the styling is done I use a shine spray. The packaging is kind of awkward too but I like how you can lock and unlock the spray bottle so it never leaks if I have to pack it up. Those are the only cons though. I love everything else about it, especially the smell and that it doesn't leave any residue or build-up, and it's permanently replaced my CHI 44 Iron Guard. I recommend this for anyone who heat styles their hair frequently and wants to protect against damage and who is on a budget.

Well, this product is decent. It's .. adequate. Not amazing, not bad.
I've been using this spray for over a year now, so i think i can give an informed review.
My hair is pretty dry naturally, and this doesnt exactly help my dry hair. I think it makes my hair even more dry .. and like a few other reviews said .. a tad sticky. It has sort of a low hold hair spray effect on my hair, cuz once I spray then apply heat, its a little sticky and gets a little nappy (I'm not african american). But nothing too bad.
I still do get split ends, and this product doesnt completely stop my hair from getting damaged from heat styling. It helps a bit with heat damage, but not as much as I would like.
It's not as bad as I'm making it out to be .. but I'm still going to search for a heat protectant that protects my hair a bit better from heat, and moisturizes my hair a bit more.
I have to say it: I'm a bit of a 'salon product' snob. Having 3 hair stylists in the family will do that to you. However, while on vacation and out of my normal AG Insulate Heat Protection spray, I ran to out to pick up a basic heat protector to hold me over the weekend. The girl at SDM swore by it and the price was right so I picked up a bottle. Well, that vacation was a month ago and the Tresemme Heat Tamer has completely replaced my AG one. And I don't think I'll EVER go back.
The packaging is good and the spray nozzle is easy to use and has a lock for when you travel. The bottle looks high end and classy.
The product itself is an absolute dream. Having fine hair, I struggle with products that leave my hair heavy and overloaded. I literally spritz this all over my head liberally, blow dry, then spray on more before I iron/curl my hair and it's still light and bouncy.
The smell is absolutely divine.
And of course, last but not least, the price. I bought this for $5 CND which is pretty darn good considering I paid $17 for my AG spray.
Overall this product is a win-win-win!

I love this heat protectant spray! Its just amazing stuff. Okay, I have wavy brown hair which I frequently blow dry. I used to use Loreal hot reconstructor thermal protectant spray . It did absolutely nothing for my hair. I have little baby hair in the front which looked deeply fried when I flat ironed. My hair became coarse and I stopped flat ironing since then. I ran out of that stuff and bought myself this tresemme heat tamer spray. Oh boy, this is just amazing ! Pros - doesnt fry your hair, keeps your hair soft and natural looking , very convenient packaging (few spritzes is enough to cover medium length hair) , smells good. Cons- I haven't found any ! And at times when I just leave my hair without blow drying/flat ironing, I see that my hair is absolutely fine without any damage. I swear, it even shines !! MY holy grail heat protectant !!!!
