My goal for this concealer was to apply to blemishes and dark spots. The color match was right on, and much less noticeable than all MAC concealers I've tried. Must apply to very moisturized skin - probably isn't a great product for very very dry skinned folks. Dries flakey and accencuates patches if applied to dark skin. Looks amazing if you top it off with sheer finish loose powder. Nice and creamy texture that leaves a matte, but not caked on look.

I'm very impressed with this. It covers up my blemishes and scars perfectly, the colour-match is good enough for me (Honey), and I can use it on my dark undereye circles. It's a bit too much when used on circles with the Corrector though, I think, as it creases too much. But on days when I've had a good sleep, I can just use this and it looks great. The formulation is a bit thick, but then of course that's why it conceals and lasts so well. EDIT: This is absolutely my HG concealer, and if I had to choose only one item of makeup to take to a desert island, this would be it!

EDIT: I now use Warm Natural for my undereye area, and Honey for my face.

On my second batch. Effective moderate-high coverage that melts into my skin and stays put with a light dusting of the included superfine translucent finishing powder. Poor portability and an unsturdy hinge connecting the two compartments are the only downsides. Product itself is outstanding and a great re-formulation to when I first tried it 5 years ago.

EDIT - March 2010: Removing a lippie due to poor packaging. The top of every single kit I've ever owned comes unhinged after a few months of use.

UPDATE: Added BEFORE and AFTER picture!

MAC studio fix shade: NC35
MakeUp ForEver Mat+ shade: 40
Bobbi Brown Concealer Shade: Warm Beige
Bobbi Brown Corrector Shade: Dark Peach
....................................................................................
NOTE: I only use this to cover my undereye circles, along with the corrector, to cover up undereye circles, NOT on my face skin as I think it's faaar to creamy/oily for that
....................................................................................
SHADE IS KEY!
I have used lots of combinations of their shades:
Peach or Dark Peach as the corrector and concealer in Honey or Warm Natural or Warm Beige... (yes I wasted a lot of money by buying the wrong shades and that's why I want to save you from the sorrow!)
I can't count the combinations but the WRONG ONE WILL NOT WORK!!
..........................................................................................
I finally found the RIGHT COMBINATION FOR NC35 skin:
Dark Peach corrector with Warm Beige concealer on top and OMG my underye circles are history! My whole face looked soooooo much better and I look fresh and much unlike a zombie!
I wish I could go back in time and always have worn this!
.....................................................................................
MY ADVICE:
Before buying, find the shade combination that is right for you! Go to an experienced Bobbi Brown salesperson, some of them just threw the wrong shades at me and wasted my money :(
.....................................................................................
ALSO:
Must apply loose powder on top well to take away the shine, I use MakeUp Forever Super Matte Loose Powder in shade 54

Bobbi brown concealers cover well and have great shades even to match the lightest of skin tones without looking fake. Well worth the price.

I love this concealer. I use it with BB's corrector, and I think the two work perfectly together. I would use this alone too it's that good. I would definitely buy again!

When I used this in Canada, it was an awesome product. But when I started using this in Hong Kong, this got super cakey under my eyes. I think this is mostly due to the super humid weather here. Anyways, will not repurchase because I can find cheaper and better alternatives in HK.

I have had a hard time figuring out exactly how to use this concealer but, now that I have, I really like it. For me the key is in putting a very generous amount of eye cream on under my eyes after my shower, enough so that it is visible after applying it, and then letting that soak in while I do something else (FTR - I use BB eye cream day and BB extra eye balm at night). Then when I use the concealer (warm ivory) or the corrector/concealer (light peach/warm ivory) combo I always use a small nylon concealer brush. The brush has been the most important discovery for me.

When I first got the product I tried to use my fingers and got a big, ugly, cakey mess. I put the compacts away in my train case and forgot about them until recently when I had an event to attend and was desperate for something to make me look fresh. I tried a good quality nylon brush and using that makes all the difference in the world. It means that I get just enough to cover my undereye area but not so much that it settles into the fine lines. I was amazed at how thin a layer I can apply, how smoothly it goes on, and yet how opaque the coverage was just by switching to a good brush.

Then I follow with the light tinted eye brightener in the sockets of my eyes and down onto the crest of my cheek bones, again applied with a small nylon brush, and a VERY, VERY light dusting of BB sheer yellow powder. I apply the powder while tilting my head down and looking up into the mirror so that most of the lines are smoothed out. I do get a bit of settling into lines but I can pat them away easily and usually only get them in the first hour or so of application but then very little during the day.

I have dark circles under my eyes no matter how much sleep I get and some darkness under my lower lash line that looks like smeared makeup if I don't cover it. I have been very happy with this and will definitely buy it again now that I know how to apply it. You can watch a video on the BB website for the exact technique.

I have a really hard time matching my skin tone or if a product does match my skin tone it doesn't cover my dark undereye circles. I never seem to be happy with any one product. I bought this product about a year ago and it has lasted a pretty long time. It is a liitle light for me but with the money i have spent on it i figured i should use it all up. It seems to cover the circles under my eyes pretty well and it stays on all day. I don't have wrinkles under my eyes yet so i can't tell you if it enhances my fine lines. I feel that the powder it comes with is a waste and you should not use it becuase it makes the concealer cakey but otherwise the concealer is fine. Would recommend if you have fair to medium skin tones and need to cover your undereye circles, but if they are really dark concider an other concealer.

I've been using this for about 7 months now, I have it in two colors that i usually mix together....i regret my purchase now because I think it is giving me wrinkles!! i'm only 21 and have no wrinkles anywhere else until now. I dont recomment buying it even though it corrects your undereye circles-not worth the wrinkles. On the pllus side it is pretty well pigmented but can look dry without lotion.
