Very dry formula. This did nothing for my lashes. Would not buy again.
This was "ok" for me. I didn't like the flimsy wand (bendy and jiggly), the brush was ok, the formula however is a bit too wet for my taste. This didn't really give me the thick-lash effect as I'd hoped. It didn't smudge on me, which is good, but there wasn't anything special about it. Lately I've had quite bad luck with Maybelline mascaras. I always fall for the advertisements and none (aside from Define-a-Lash) really worked for me.
This is one of those love/hate products, with the final score ending up more in the "love" category than the "hate" one. The mascara is super wet, so it is tricky putting it on and not getting it all over your lids or eye area. The tube is a little too thick and chunky to be ergonomic. The wand is a bit tricky as it wiggles all over the place. But - and this is a big but - the mascara looks and feels amazing once you have it on (provided you got it on correctly). This gives you big soft feather lashes that are ridiculously long and dramatic but still somehow don't look overdone (I use the brownish black combo to soften the look). It's also super lightweight on the eye, vs. feeling like you've glued rabid spiders to your lids. And I don't know how this works, but somehow this lengthens my lashes just to the point where they don't hit my glasses.
So: wet product, annoying application, but amazing results. I'll take it.
I am currently obsessed with Maybelline's "Rocket Volum" mascara, but before that, I tried this mascara. It is AWESOME! The formula adds volume, length, and color to my lashes, and it doesn't smudge or flake! The formula actually conditions my lashes! The color of the packaging is also adorable! Will repurchase if I can.
First of all, I am a bit of a mascara hoarder. I currently have no less than 15 different mascaras (anything from drug store to high end), and this is the one I reach for the most at the moment. I have decent lashes that don't require a lash curler, but I am still on the hunt for the most volumizing/lengthening mascara. Still, this one isn't bad!
The Mega Plush's wand is a bit on the odd side. It is more of a triangle shape, with somewhat widely spaced bristles. It also has a very bendy attachment to the actual cap of the mascara, and to be honest, I don't quite see the point of that gimmick. I think the wand might require a bit of practice, because it's easy to smudge product onto your skin while applying, if you're not experienced.
The formula is pretty dark (I bought blackest black) and wet, which I don't mind. It gives me very full lashes with a nice, dark lash line. It basically makes me look like I have more lashes than I normally do, however you do have to work with it for a bit to achieve that effect. Also, I sometimes layer a different mascara underneath - usually something very separating and lengthening. Clearly, I am not a one-swipe-and-go kind of mascara girl, so keep that in mind :)
Overall, I enjoy the voluminous, feathery look this mascara gives. My lashes stay soft and not crunchy. I wish it lengthened a bit more, hence no HG mascara for me. It does not smudge, and it removes well at the end of the day.
I hate this mascara! It clumps flakes you name it, it sucks!
Doesn't give volume or length at all.
Waste of money and a disappointment for sure.
So... This mascara is a disaster on me. When I opened the tube, the wand seemed really flimsy(think elbow) and it made it hard to apply the mascara. Overall, I like the brush. It gave a natural but long and voluminous look. The formula... ehhh. After a few hours, I had mascara smudges under my eyes. I don't think I'll be buying this again
This mascara works perfect for me. I love that the more I put on, the more that goes on. A lot of mascaras I've tried don't seem to take after applying numerous coats. The brush is large, which I like, but it's difficult to apply on lower lashes- not a big deal tho bc I just use an old mascara for those lashes.
I'm always on the hunt for a newer and better mascara so I'm constantly changing and trying new things. This one has been a go to of mine for a while. One coat makes my lashes pretty big and thick. The color is not as jet black as I would prefer and the formula flakes onto the cheeks a bit. I
Horrible to take off. It adhered mightly to lashes at the base (resistant to remover) then finally came off in big hard flakes onto my face that were very difficult to get off. The color and application were good at first, seemed smooth, but any mascara that I didn't get off melded with the new application to make a clumpy hard mess. This is going back to the store, if I can, otherwise in the trash!
