I'm going to start this review off by saying that I already have a back up in my makeup collection. I obviously love this powder. I find this setting powder to stay true to its word. Even throughout the day, my skin doesn't become too oily. Towards the end with the use of this powder and my UD Oil Deslick spray, my makeup just has a slight dewy finish. I own the MAC Mineralized Skinfinish powder and I must say that I prefer the Maybelline Dream Matte powder over it. The MAC powder broke me out to no end. Not only that, but my Maybelline powder gives slightly better coverage.

Pros:
Coverage
Price
Matte finish
Cons:
Packaging is terrible

Wow! I can't believe I didn't try this earlier! I love love love it! I apply after my Garnier BB cream and my skin looks literally flawless....if I'm in a hurry I will apply alone and I love the even sheer coverage it gives me :) I like it more than my high end powders that I have packed somewhere in my makeup bag lol.....

Okay so I bought this product, because i needed something a bit more mattifying.
This keeps my makeup on all the time, and even with my dry skin, it doesn't make me too dry or too oily.

I HATE the packaging, i love the packaging for FIT ME powder.

i love fit me powder as well, but thats what i use when i want a dewey finish.

What I wear/How I wear it?
- Nivea (blue label)
- Hard Candy primer (Sheer Envy)
- Fit me Foundation 310
- Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse

this is by far one of the best drugstore powders I have ever used and its the only powder I finished up and have gone through numerous amounts. It never looks cakey, gives a flawless finish, and always looks great in pictures. The packaging is also really cute (at least I think so). Just my only gripe with this is the color range really...its really quite terrible but other then that this is a amazing powder from the drugstore!

I so wanted to love this! Its so soft, its great for oily skin because it controls oil really good, and it doesn't ever look cakey because it's somewhat sheer, you literally could probably put 10 layers of this on and it wouldnt look gross. Its so natural looking! But unfortunately, it broke me out. My skin was pretty clear aside from some "rosacea bumps" (acne scar looking things) on my cheeks, and when i used this for the first time, small bumps popped up ALL OVER my forehead, and a few large pimples showed up on my chin and
near my nose. I was so sad because I love this powder! So I waited a few weeks for my skin to clear up a bit, and then... I gave in, and tried using it again. The same thing happened. So I waited, telling myself the zits were just from hormones... But they weren't. I used it today about 4 hours ago, and I already have a huge zit on my chin and a million bumps on my forehead. But I'm not going to give it only one lippie just because it broke me out, that wouldn't be fair. If I could use it, this would be my favorite powder!

UPDATE: I am ecstatic. I've figured out that it was something else that was breaking me out and now I can use this. So happy!

At the recommendation of a few makeupalley members, I tried this....dear sweet baby Jesus, I love this stuff. The packaging has this swivel type mirror that faces up the same way the powder is so you can look in the mirror and apply the powder instead of turning the powder upside down. It's a real fine powder with a bit of sparkle if you turn the pan toward the light, you'll see it. I use this with my Wet N Wild tinted moisturizer, MAC Face and Body and Neutrogena Healthy Skin foundation. I use it on justmy tzones and it keeps it Matte for about 5 or 6 hours but when I reapply, I don't get cakey.

Absolutely loved this powder! It didnt make me look grey or orange in the sun like most powders do. Only downside is that im not too thrilled with the packaging .

Love the product itself but hate the packaging and price here in Australia!
I bought this after doing some research on what controls oil the best and this was raved about by many. For me, Dream Matte Powder definately is the best I've tried when it comes to mattifying powders. I've tried Artistry Powder, Inglot AMC Pressed Powder, another powder from Maybelline and Cover Girl and nothing beats this when it comes to keeping my oils at bay! They do eventually come through and I have just learnt to live with it as I have a very oily t-zone and just do what I can in order to prevent shine coming through any sooner by blotting and touching up. The packaging leaves much to be desired and I absolutely hate pulling it out of my bag when doing touch ups, but for what it does I will definitely keep on repurchasing this because I love it so much!
