I was excited to try this out b/c of the great reviews here (and I am also a big fan of most Kerastase products). However, I found that this stuff didn't do really anything for my hair at all except make it feel like there was a ton of buildup in it. It also made my hair feel dry. Wouldn't buy again. The smell is nice, though!

UPDATE: OK, so I decided that I really like this stuff now! It seems to work better when I diffuse my hair rather than when I blow it out straight. I think it helped to define my curls even more & made my hair REALLY shiny. I love this now! :) continued >>

Quite possibly the best blow-dry product I've ever used -- and like most people here, I've tried a LOT of them. I have naturally wavy/curly, frizzy, color-treated hair that I tried to avoid styling straight on a regular basis because it took forever and a day and never looked quite right. Now I can use a small amount of this stuff, work it into my towel dried hair, and have quite presentable-looking hair after 10 minutes with my blow dryer and round brush. Sometimes I finish off with a bit of Lumiere Nutri-Sculpt to look a little more polished, but it's really unnecessary for me. Totally worth the price for me (how many disappointing hair products do you have in your bathroom? I've got tons), and my first tube has lasted at least five months so far through 2-3 weekly uses - though my hair is shoulder length. I also like the smell, but if you don't, I find that it fades away after a while. Definite, definite repurchase for me.

After reading all of the great reviews for this product, I thought this product may work for my dry hair, w/ split ends. I bought it the same day and followed the application instructions on the little pamphlet that came w/ the bottle. To my amazement, it actually worked! After so many years of trying so many different products that claim to do what this does, I was prepared to accept that wasted another $32, but I could not believe that was better than I had secretly hoped.

Awesome product! It leaves my hair smooth and soft. I use this with my hairdryer before bed and now when I wake up in the morning I don't have that awful bedhead! Yay! Also it has a nice citrus smell and doesn't weigh your hair down or make it go greasy.

My hairdresser uses this product on me every time, and I was reluctant to buy it because of its steep price, but I finally gave in b/c it was too long between visits to be without it! I LOVE the fresh grapefruit smell, and I really bought it for the smell, but I've noticed that it does make my damaged hair (from highlighting and coloring) smooth and silky without having to use a flat iron. I love it and use it every time I shampoo. My hairdresser said that once it's in the hair, it is "reactivated" whenever heat is applied, so you don't need to wash your hair or reapply to get the same effect. And he's right. I used a hair dryer on my dry hair on a day that I did not shampoo, and voila -- my hair was smooth and silky again. It's worth the money, but I still wish that it were cheaper.

This stuff is phenomenal. Now my hair is getting quite long it's need a little extra TLC. I use this about once a fortnight, and it makes my hair looks incredibly healthy and glossy.
I don't get my hair cut too often as I'm growing it and this helps keep split ends ay bay.
The only downside is that my hair feels so soft and silky after using this that I can't stop touching it!

Didn't do anything for my coarse, thick hair w/damage from thermal straightening. Even combined with the famous oleo-relax elixir, did not smooth, improve texture, reduce drying time, or add shine. Had to use a large amount of product, and result was simultaneously over-voluminous, coarse and product laden.

my hair is fine, color treated, dry, and frizzy until flat ironed. i just started using kerastase products and i LOVE them. each time i use them my hair seems to get better. it's as though the products are repairing damage or soothing my dry color treated hair. almost like a cumulative effect.

this treatment is great. it really protects from the heat of flat ironing which i must do to smooth out my hair. i love using it in conjunction with my other kerastase products. ciment thermique works especially well with the oleo relax elixir serum. i am sold on these high quality products. they are pricey, but worth it to me!

I purchased this because of the raves on the boards about it. It is a reconstructing thermal activated heat protectant milk. It a white cream not that thick and smells like citrus (grapefruit). You put in in your hair wet than blow dry and flat iron. The only two negatives in my opinion is the price and the fact that I wish I didnt have to use a serum after to finish it off. It doesnt provide my hair with enough frizz control so I still need to use a serum after I blow-dry and flat iron. My hair does feel like silk and it gives enough slip for blow drying and flat ironing. Since this is pretty expensive, I am going to try something similar but cheaper. The Joico Smoothing Balm.
