I have mixed review about this product...
On one hand, I love it because it smells super nice, it's mostly natural and the tingling feeling is what I love the most! It's very creamy, but not greasy at all and so it's very easy to wash off everything. The price is pretty reasonable also, since you don't need a lot and the tube is quite big!
But on the other hand, it is not a deep cleanser like it claims! I just wear BB cream and mineral makeup to cover my acne, nothing much, but this cleanser still couldn't clean off everything like the Neutrogena one did. So whenever I use my toner, I still can see the makeup on the cotton pad. That's not good at all! Plus, I think this might be harsh on sensitive skin bcuz of the willow bark, so u should be careful when u use this.
I will finish this one, and then I will try on another cleanser in order to find my HG cleanser, what a long way to go!

I LOVE THIS CLEANSING CREAM!! It has the most amazing fresh and citrusy scent, it goes on creamy but non-greasy and washes everything off at once. The tingly cooling sensation that it leaves on my face is so worth it. It's like a spa experience. Truly a luxurious experience. I would highly recommend this and the Pomegranate Night Cream. Love Burt's Bees!

This was NOT my first choice in cleansers. In fact, it would have been my last but I tried it on a suggestion from my sister who uses the lemon poppy seed cleanser. In fact, I wanted to hate it.

I have been searching for a new product line as my beloved Australian line, Rationale, is too pricey and difficult to acquire at this time. So off to the store to find a cheap alternative.

I have oily/combo skin which is sensitive to sulfates and heavy oils so most blemish or oil control cleansers just make me produce more oil.

This stuff was very thick and creamy and I squeezed out way more than I needed (lesson learned there). It was very cool and smooth going on and since it was thick and and rich, I needed a washcloth to wipe off. My skin felt cool for hours afterwards too which I really enjoyed.

Once off, my skin felt amazing. But I knew the true test was how much or little oil would be on my T-zone in the morning. The answer there, on a scale from 1-10 (10 being an offshore oil spill) I would say I am down to 1 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yeah!!! We'll see how it holds up over the long run though but for now, it is like the oil valve has been closed.

The scent is awesome too. I read that some people did not care for it but to me, it was like a lemon cream - I LOVE lemon so this is just what I needed.

And the feel of my skin....just afterwards, I felt sqeaky clean but also moisturized. So I did NOT put on a moisturizer. My skin felt firm but not tight and my pores look smaller.

This has definitely simplified my skin care regimen. Wash and that's it. I will still keep my blemish serum just in case though.

UPDATE: I switched from 5 to 3 lipsticks because after a while of using it, the oiliness came back with a vengence, even with a moisturizer and other remedies. I am back on my old cleanser and will probably not deviate from that routine no matter how tempting. Otherwise, it is still great, just not for me.

Probably one of the best cleansers I have tried so far. I have combination and acne-prone skin and I have tried LOTS of different cleansers (Neutrogena, Olay, clearasil, you name it) on my skin. This is my first time using a "natural" cleanser (97% natural) and I liked the results so far. While this is not the ultimate cleanser, it did help keep most of my acne at bay and left my skin soft and clean; it was able to reduce some of the redness around my cheeks too. Since this is a cream based cleanser, I definitely recommend using this in the winter (when your skin is more prone to dry up) or for those who has combin or dry skin.

This product was kind of pricey considering how overall it was quite ineffective for my skin type (oily, acne-prone). Besides the tingly feeling, this did not do wonders for my skin. It does not smell all that great either. I will not purchase this again.

I agree with most of the comments listed about this cleanser. However, I really like it but not to remove eye makeup as the menthol in it irritates the eye area. I find it best to use a microfibre cloth with this cleanser as it removes all your make-up if you do that, then finish with a cold rinse. I am only reviewing this one because so many people said it did not remove their make-up adequately.

Purchaed this at my local Whole Food's store. I am sorry to say that this "DEEP CLEANSING CREAM" failed, BOMBED! While the sensation is nice once applied to the skin it doesn't "cut-the-mustard" as far as removing makeup (even if you reapply the cleasing cream). It didn't irritate or cause any adverse skin reactions to my extremely sensitive, eczema prone skin, BUT it didn't do the "job" of taking of the facial makeup (and I wear very, very little makeup). It's not to terribly costly as far as cleanser's/facial product's/items are concerned but didn't deliver on it's promise to remove makeup per it's claims on back of product. I have yet to find anything "exceptional" about any of the Burt's Bee's product line and this one didn't disappoint. I should have known better than to try a product/item in a line that I have tried so many other's that didn't "pan" out. Oh well...let's hope this gal FINALLY learns her lesson about Burt's Bee's product's. No offense to those that have had great success and results from either this particular product and/or other's from this line. :-) It's all trial-and-error.
This I do know! ;-))

I have been using this daily cleanser for about 6 months now and I love it! I have normal/combo skin depending on the season and this cleanser keeps my skin moisturized and fresh. It has a pleasant tingling sensation, similar to if you've ever used shampoo with peppermint. It's refreshing and doesn't strip the skin. It's about 97% natural too so you can't go wrong there. A little bit goes a long way and it smells good. For the price I think it's an excellent purchase and I will repurchase again and again unless I find something better. Oh and heads up, it doesn't completely clean off your makeup. I usually have to do a few swipes with my toner on a cotton ball to get off the rest.

I bought this in a bundle online because it would have a cheaper unit price. I was also looking for a cream cleanser because my skin is very dry. If i don't put moisturizer on after washing, it'll get itchy and irritating.

I don't particularly like the oily residue after washing, but maybe i'm using too much? I use about one or two teaspoons. I'm guessing, and that's usually a small amount concerning cleansers.

the menthol is really not needed as it just makes your face tingly and cold, and i don't really know if i like it or not. maybe that's what closes your pores?

the residue is really my only concern. But other than that, i like how there's no sulfates and paraben-free. so until i find something better or buy that DHC cleansing oil, i'll stick to this. :]

My skin loves this facial cleanser. I've repurchased it over and over again. It's creamy and smells wonderful (kind of like bananas). I love the tingling sensation it gives when you smooth it on. It leaves my sensitive combination soft and smooth and I get fewer breakouts than when I use other cleansers. I do agree that it doesn't completely remove makeup (few cleansers do) so I would definitely use a makeup remover or toner with it. But it's still an HG for me and I will continue to repurchase it.
