This is GREAT!! I love the look it gives my lips, as someone else said, it's a dewy shine that is sooo pretty. The smell isn't all that strong and I don't really mind it. It's a refreshing change from all those sticky sweet fruity smells most lip glosses have. I use it on my elbows too if I have a short sleeves on.

It lasts really long, just fabulous stuff in general.

This is really good for chapped lips, stays on prettylong plus very moisturising. Sept I hate these tin containers! so hard to open, and somehow they put all of the good stuff in them, have you noticed that! haha

HG. This salve is thee best. I'm always looking at lip balms & 'treatments'. This moisturizes, has a hint of color and even makes it look dewy :)

Even when I forget to reapply, my lips stay soft ALL DAY with one application. However, the smell doesn't get to me, but that's the only con I really have with this product. I haven't tried this on my cuticles, knees or elbows yet. Will update when I do though :) continued >>

I cannot reconcile myself with the smell of this salve. I could live with the smell if this product did anything worthwhile, but it doesn't. It gives my lips a pretty sheen, but is thin and doesn't moisturize. I seriously don't understand why people like this stuff!

I consider this product one of my beauty secrets. It has to be the most useful beauty product that I have ever come across.

As long as I keep it in my purse throughout the winter, it seems my lips never get chapped. It has also worked great for dry skin patches on my face and hands. I've even used this salve on my boyfriend's dry hands and he was pleased with it. I love that it gives a glossy feel without being sticky.

The smell of the salve is very unique and, personally, I think it is very lovely and feminine..though I would probably use it regardless because it works so well. I remember buying mine last at a sale at B&BW (like others here have mentioned) where you can test it. The packaging has a darling vintage appeal to it and I don't have any real trouble opening/closing the tin as others have mentioned. I love this product! I find it very similar to Smith's Rosebud Salve but cheaper :) I paid like $3 during a sale. It makes my lips very soft. I do have to reapply often but I like how it feels and smells so much I don't mind! It doesn't taste like much which is fine by me.

Makes my lips unbearably soft. And it is very easy to open and keeps closed in my purse. A+ product.

Amazing product! I was a bit doubtful, seeing as how I had gotten a tin of it at B&BW for $3 (sales! <3) But I decided, why not?

I've used everything on the market for my dry dry lips. Vaseline, Burts Bees, Blistex, Soft Lips, Nivea, Shisheido, you name it. They give relief, yes, but it only lastsfor so long.

With the Rose Salve,I put it on for the first time at night, and the next morning I woke up with beautiful soft lips! No more dry flaky mess. This stuff sinks it, and really works. I don't mind the smell that much, but the tin does irritate me, seeing as how it's unsanitary. But for the way this thing works, I can handle popping open a lid.

Will be going back to get backup--just in case! :)

I Love this stuff. I use it on everything. My lips, hands, elbows, kness, even my feet. It's amazing. But like most salve its a bit greasy so i use it at night and in the morning i wake up with amazingly smooth skin. **But there is two problems i do have with this product: 1. It smells like an old lady, but what do you expext when it's Rose. So like i said I use it at night and by the morning the scent is gone. 2. The container is a huge pain in the ass, The top of the tin is really hard to get off and hard to get on especially if you have the salve on your hands. But I really do love this stuff, so i will suffer through my bed smelling like an old lady and will continue to buy this stuff.

I just tried this based on the reviews--I LOVE it! I live in CO where it is very dry and this helps ALOT--I use it on my lips, hands, anywhere that is dry. Love it!
