LOVE LOVE LOVE!! I've been dealing with some cystic acne recently and nothing was working. Combined with the tea tree facewash it is overdrying. But alone, I WAS AMAZED!! I never had anything work so fast and effectively on cystic acne!! It made it disappear. Love love love it!
I purchased this after numerous products did not work for my TOTM chin acne. It appears as I get older it becomes more cystic. I put this on my blemishes 2x per day and after 2 days they had dried up. Even the bumps under the skin. This stuff is wonderful. I am looking into their other tea tree products currently to use on my chin during TOTM and will be writing reviews on those also.
It's liked the only thing that works on killing pimples but at the same time won't irritate or dry my skin out like crazy.........the packaging sucks but i managed to find a roller bottle which allows me to fill it up with this and just roll on problem area......no more q-tip for me.........
didn't want to get this to use on my face initially cos it seems a little strong, but came with the blemish stick as a 2 for 1 offer so i got it anyway. really glad i did! i've got rather bad back acne, which looks gross when i wear tube tops ): but after 2 days of using this product my back cleared up pretty nicely! my friends and family commented on how the pimples look less red, and they're pretty much evened out :D the product's also economical, cos after 2 weeks of usage it looks like i've barely used any!
took a lippie off for the packaging, hard to get the exact amount i want out :/ still a great product though!
This is my go to spot treatment, I have been using for 5 years and I always have to have it on hand. I find it works great to keep pimples from forming, especially when used as soon as you feel the dreaded bump coming on, it also helps to heal the spot faster. I also apply this to my frequent breakout areas to keep the pimples at bay. This is definatley a product I cannot live without.
I am not sure how I have lived without a bottle of tea tree oil in my medicine cabinet! I have been using this product for 3 weeks now and can certainly call it HG at this point. I have sensitive acne prone skin and when I do get a pimple they are huge and painful, taking weeks to go away. I had been using this oil to treat ingrown hairs from waxing and it's been fantastic. But after using my usual asprin masks and acne spot treatments on a particularly bad pimple on my cheek I began to dab on tea tree oil 2x a day, even over top of makeup. I began this regimen just 4 days ago and this pimple is nearly gone!! It is now totally flat and only a tiny scab remains. It has not dried my skin out any worse than other acne formulated products, but I also do not break out in my dry area. I've even convinced my husband to use dabs on a large pimple that he had and it is *gone* too now in just days! The price of this product kind of sucks at $9, I have used 1/4 of the bottle in less than a month. But I will try a pure TTO when this runs out and repurchase this exact formula if that fails to work as well as The Body Shop's.
I have been using this for half a year now. I do find it helps reduce my blemishes once I see it start to pop out. But once it does, it doesn't help much trying to control it.
I also use this as a serum after I carefully squeeze my pimple and it stings a little after I put it on, but that's how you know it works!
The smell of it isn't very pleasant, but it's manageable. For the price, I think it's worth a try.
i used to use this before when i had major breakouts, it works pretty well to get rid of the pimple but really dries out the spot to the point where it gets flaky.
I think everybody should have a bottle of Tea Tree oil at home.
It is a really useful product and you can use it many ways - add it to your bath, use it as a massage oil, put it on verrucas to help dry them out, add drops to your pillow before you sleep and apply it to spots.
Everyone else reviewing this said it stings when applied to a spot, yes it does, but I have never found a spot product that doesn't sting. This just reassures me that its working. I do have very dry skin, so I'm used to it drying the spot area out a bit, but once the spot has gone exfoliate and moisturize and no one will ever know!
The only thing I use this for is my bikini line for ingrown hairs when I can't find Tendskin or Skin Doctors. It works pretty good for that, but I would never put any kind of oil on a pimple.
