It causes breakouts and it stings my sensitive skin. My acnes and pimples look awful after applying it and it smells really bad. It makes my skin reddish too.
I really can't think of anything good about it. It is the worst product in this tea tree oil line.
Like the tea tree oil cleanser, this didn't do anything to clear up my acne. I bought it two or three times because the vials aren't that big, but I didn't see any improvements.
When i first purchased this product, it seemed to be working well. But after a few weeks, it was drying out my skin on the spots where i applied it and my face was starting to get discoloration. so therefore i had to discontinue my use. and also the smell is horrendous.
This stuff is great for the odd pimple or spots. It calms them down a great deal, but as others have said, just apply directly to the spot, not the whole face. Soothes spots, but its best to pply at night after skin routine!
I bought the trial I bought the trial/travel kit that has a bit of all the Body Shop tea tree oil products. I like the tea tree oil best. I apply to my face at night (the smell is too strong for daytime!) and the pimples are less red and appear much calmer.
However, I think I might try a product that has MORE of a percentage concentration of tea tree oil. This Body Shop product only has 15%... the rest is water and alcohol. The alcohol is really drying, so you can't put too much on at a time.
Overall, good product for night treatment. Try it if you haven't already - it could really help smooth your skin and make your complexion less red.
This product is useful in "killing" the acne, especially those big red ones/ serious outbreaks. Usually the acne will be less red and cause less pain after I applied this overnight.
The only thing is that if too much is applied, it will be too dehydrating for the skin around as it contains alcohol. So, apply to the acne only but not area without acnes!
Doesn't work for mi! the whole tea tree range. makes my skin dry n painful. Doesn't exactly remove pimples. i put it tonite n yeah it smallens a lil, bud the next day its surely grown bigger! awwww it sucks. i pass it to my cousin, n he ended up complaining to mi that yes e pimple fades, bud he ended up having scars/blemish. ughhhh. it juz has different effect on us, bud it still don work. now it's been pass to my aunt. the smell is okay though.
This stuff is great as long as you use it correctly!! From what I understand from a few other reviews, people have actually tried to cover their entire face with this. If you read the label, it says apply directly to blemish. Also, since it contains alcohol and other additives, it is drying to the skin, which is good for blemishes since it dries them up, but not for the entire face. I don't think people with severe acne should use this since they would basically have to apply it to the entire face and it woulnd't work and would just dry the skin. For an occasional pimple this stuff is amazing! I put it on after I have washed my face and moisturized before bed. The smell of the tea tree oil is very strong so I would not recommend using this during the day, even though the smell goes away quickly. For during the day I use the tea tree oil blemish stick from the body shop which I got before the tea tree oil. The blemish stick smells less strong but also works slower and doesn't last long. But back to the oil. The packaging is good since it doesn't spread bacteria, but it's sometimes messy if you're not careful. I think everyone should just buy some pure tea tree oil from a health food store because it will be cheaper and with no additives and will work well as long as you dilute it with water first, but since i bought this stuff and the bottle lasts VERY long(despite the small size) i will keep using it until its gone and then buy the pure tea tree oil, although the small bottle is nice since it takes so little room. Might buy again.

I love tea tree oil for my occassion pimples. I examine my face every night and if i see a pimple coming trough, i just dab a q-tip with tea tree oil and just put a little dot on my pimple and when I wake up in the morning, it's gone. Love this stuff.
UPDATE: I tried adding a drop of tea tree oil to my shampoo this morning and I got amazing shiny hair today. I keep looking in the mirror and my hair feels soooo soft.
