What a BARGAIN! Yup, you read that right, a bargain. I can barely believe I just typed that, as I distinctly recall feeling nauseated due to the price when I purchased the shampoo and conditioner 6 weeks ago. But now I have changed my mind completely. Why? Because my hair feels great.....it hasn't felt nor looked this healthy since I started highlighting it many years ago. Usually, after 6 weeks, well, let's be honest....6 weeks was pushing it for me to get it redone because my color had faded so much that the sight of my roots made me crazy because they were so much darker. Now? 6 weeks and my color is still going strong....very very little fading with this combo! Honestly, I didn't realize color could last this long! I could easily go a few more weeks before another salon visit. Thus, I am saving money with fewer visits in a year. On top of that, you only need to use the tiniest bit of the products. I bought the liter sized bottles and after using for 6 weeks, I have barely made a dent in them...so they will last much longer than what I was using previously. Pureology is saving me money in the end, and I love how my hair looks and feels. Huge rave! Try it!
This is probebly the best I have ever used. I use this on most of my clients and have seen a total 180 in hair improvement for those clients who use this at home. I personally use it at home and love it. I recently tried some Redken stuff another stylist was going on about, and my scalp got itchy after a few days, after going back to hydrate the problem was gone. I love this stuff so much, it's the only thing I will buy as far as conditioners go.
I have thick, dry, coarse, curly, color treated hair. Sounds cute, huh?
This is hands down the best conditioner I have ever used, and I've tried a lot of conditioners. It's the only one I've tried that actually moisturizers my hair. Usually, moisturizing conditioners just seem to coat my hair in silicones, which does not do good things to coarse, curly hair. The essential oils in this smooth out the hair and moisturize, without making it dull or gross. I really feel like it's doing good things for my hair. I could tell the difference immediately after using it for the first time, and it just keeps getting better. My hair feels so much softer and the overall texture is shinier and less coarse.
I love it so much that I bought 64 oz. bottles of this and the shampoo off eBay. Expensive, yes, but those bottles will last for months. And it's less expensive in the long run because I'll use it consistently. I usually end up being disappointed with a conditioner halfway through the bottle and move on to something else. I'm not giving this up any time soon. continued >>
The scent grows on you. I love this stuff!! I could tell the difference even in the shower. My hair is smooth and shiny and yet still has great body. My hair has never had body before, I have always tried to weigh it down because it is so dry and frizzy. But this was the good kind of body, not the "poufy big hair curls" body.
Overpriced crap in a bottle is what I call this. The only good thing about it is the nice minty smell, and I liked the tingle which was very refreshing in the morning. That's where it stops though, because my hair looked and felt horrible when I used it. It was as if I'd never used any conditioner at all, and it looked really dull. I got swindled into buying this by my hair lady too; "you should try this purology shampoo and conditioner, it's sooo good, and it's organic." Me thinking "ok, what the hell, if it doesn't work no biggie a few bucks lost." It ended up being almost $50.00 for the shampoo and conditioner!!! 50 FREAKIN DOLLARS!! For bottles that are half the size of other regular brands. I didn't want to make a fuss at the register though and seem cheap so I bought it hoping for a miracle in a bottle. Nope. What a load of crap!
My stylist introduced me to this line. I have wavy hair that is color treated. This stuff smells great - and the tingling factor is very awakening and makes me feel fresh and clean after a shower. I have noticed that using the Pureology line of products definitely makes a difference in keeping my hair color fresh and not brassy, and it holds the color from appointment to appointment. (Every six weeks or so)
It is a bit pricey, but if you buy it on sale or if you join a beauty club and can score the 20% off, it's worth it. A little goes such a long way. I just wish the packaging was a little better - seems like it's hard to get the last little bit out, and when you spend that much on a product, you want to use every last drop! Overall, a great product that keeps my hair soft, color fresh, and it does what it says it does. :)
I used this for the first time last night. I have very thick, curly coarse hair that I highlight and straighten. This is one of the best conditioners that I have ever used. I LOVE the tingling and the wonderful aromatherapy minty fragrance. Immediately I could feel it working. My hair was and is now extremely silky and moist to the touch. Like another reviewer mentioned, you only need a small amount as it is really concentrated. My husband mentioned how good my hair smelled last night! Right now I cannot stop running my fingers through my hair. For my hair type, (dry, curly, coarse damaged) it is just perfect and I have used everything! My hair feels like it did before all the processing!
Too expensive, and the smell is way too overpowering. It gave me a headache. It is okay as far as nice conditioner goes, it's just SO expensive. I wouldn't buy it again.
I was sooo hoping this would be my HG, but it was not. I did have a similiar experience to several other reviewers on here whereas it made my hair fall out like mad! The first time I used this, it burned my scalp terribly, and it burned for the next several hours. It is a good product, but it is too strong/concentrated. I think the burning triggered more hair falling out.
On the upside, it did make my hair softer, and it did detangle well. If you have a sensitive scalp, I would not recommend this. There has got to be something else better out there with the same results, without the terrible burning. Also, for the price I paid, I am sure I could do better with another, much cheaper product.
i love the shampoo, but the conditioner, not so much- it smelled like peppermint and cancelled out the sandalwood-type smell of the shampoo. this stuff is expensive, i just used a sample for a few days, (i really like it on my highlighted hair) but if i ever come across a sale, or get a raise, ill be buying this stuff for sure! some people below mentioned a burning sensation, but i didnt experience that- just a strong peppermint smell. left my hair nice and silky :}
