One of my all-time favorite facial cleansers! At my age, some products seem to make my skin dryer and saggier, but not this one. It cleans well, but is not drying, and seems to firm my skin. Not inexpensive, but worth it!

I love this cleanser. I've used it fairly regularly for over 10 years. During hot weather when it's dry outside but my skin is still prone to have more oil, this cleans thoroughly without a bit of tightening. My favorite part about this cleanser is the way it seems to instantly dissolve all my makeup, including eye makeup, like cleansing oils. This leaves my face feeling so fresh and completely clean I don't need separate eye makeup remover, or toner. It's smells wonderful; earthy, green, and spa-like. This is an everyday luxury that I'm certain helps keep my skin clear and soft with its deep, yet gentle cleansing, Like just about every Philosophy product, there's really nothing to compare this to. It's a one-of-a-kind product with a brilliant formulation.

I tried this a few times after receiving a small bottle with my Mia2. It went into the trash after my third go at this. I was getting some burning and skin irritation around my nose and mouth and at first I thought I was sensitive to the deep pore brush head but quickly ruled that out because the face brush I had used previous was a lot rougher than my Mia and I had no such issues. Reading the ingredients list there are a ton of essential oils in there. I love EO's and use them for various things all the time but they can cause skin irritation and there are a lot of different oils in there to react to. Cassia and Pepper oil in particular don't seem like they would be too friendly to someone with sensitive skin. Read before you use I guess.

The name is perfect for this product because it's so pure and simple, it doesn't do ANYTHING. I have about 1-3 pimples in all every month and besides that and my blackheads, I have pretty dang good skin when it comes to blemishes. This didn't do anything more than a cheap facial soap would do. It doesn't feel like it does anything for my skin. It doesn't even really lather up. Thank goodness I got this product with my Clarisonic Mia 2 because if I didn't, it would just be a huge waste of money. Also, it smells like my grandma after she comes out of a salon with a perm. For purity, it smells pretty badly of chemicals...

I think this is one of the best facial cleanser I found in market. It mildly cleans my skin and doesn't dry me. It comes with a huge bottle and it lasts forever. If I were ranking this only for myself, I'll give a 4 star overall rating, but my husband, who randomly picked it up, loved this cleanser and insists that he can never live without it...so well, it's a 5

I am on my fourth bottle of this so I guess you can say that I like it. I am a big fan of the creamy consistency. It lathers up well. It also does not leave my face feeling tight and dry. Which is the main reason I love it so much. The only reason this product does not get a 5 from me is because sometimes it does not remove all of my waterproof eye makeup. I either need to use an oil based eye makeup remover then Purity or wash my face twice. Which I am not a fan of. Overall it's great and I have yet to find something else that removes all my waterproof eye makeup and not leave my face tight/dry. So this will continue to be my go to face cleanser.

Bought my first jar of this about a year ago along with a Clarisonic during my search for something to help manage my horror-monal acne. This cleanser is so gentle at removing all traces of make-up, dirt, oil, whatever you accumulate during the day, leaving it refreshed and rejuvenated. I only use this at night to remove my make-up as in the morning I prefer to use a cleanser with salicylic acid but it is totally worth all of the praise it has.

My skin got immune to this product after about 4-6 months and I started to break out. I tried using it again a year later and it did nothing for me. Super disappointed.

I've been through at least 5 large bottles of this stuff. It takes off my m/u so well, and leaves my skin so clean and soft. It's not drying, nor does it leave any type of residue despite being oil based. It's so gentle, no obvious scent, and leaves my skin feeling so comfortable and makeup free. I will love this forever, I haven't strayed from it since I first tried it a few years ago.

I'm a noobie with makeup and after running out of face wipes I asked my mom how to wash off my foundation and she gave this and Estee Lauder's one step facial cleanser to use.

I prefer this one SO much over the other. The foundation comes off pretty easily but it doesn't do much to my waterproof mascara. It leaves my skin feeling so soft and I love it.
