I love all the fantastic colours that are available so there really is a different colour to suit your every mood. The colours also stay vibrant for a long time. The polish also stays on and is rather resistant to chipping. I have found that the darker colours such as the reds stain my cuticles and nails so beware of them. But over all I love the product...especially the pinks!
I love this stuff. My mother and I discovered this product in Walmart a few summers ago and adored it - I am not quite sure why I wandered over to other polish brands for a while, but I am definitely back on the Rimmel kick. I quite like everything about this polish - the drying time, the full coverage in one coat, the staying power, and the price.
I have this in movie star - a bright red with shimmer. I love this, i love wearing bright colours, and this red is very alive if you get what i mean. It really dries in 60 seconds (i havent timed it but im sure its around 60 secs) The only reason i knocked 1 lippie off is because it does chip quite easily. Would buy again
WOW! I usually stick to Essie or OPI only, until I tried this great cheapie on a whim. It truly does dry in 60 seconds. It does need a good, shiny top coat though. I am a total Rimmel convert. You just can't beat the drying time...and the price is a cool $2 at the most. Nice! I like Ruby & Pillarbox Red the best so far.
These come in great colors and they're always updated. Its amazing that they really do try in 60 seconds. Most products make similar promises, but the products never live up to the name. This one really does, and I LOVE it!
This doesn't give you perfect coverage in one coat. It takes at least two coats to get a decent finish. I usually put three coats of nail polish on, but I couldn't even get the second one to dry with this. Even when I left the first coat to dry completely for a few minutes, when I put the second coat on, it refused to dry. It just remained tacky, and both coats were thin! The colors are great--I purchased blue, pink, and gold glitter varieties, but I've since learned that I don't have the time to mess around with this.
I picked up one of these on a whim.I liked the color so I thought I would give it a try.Talk about low quality. This stuff clumped really bad even after shaking and preping. After I finished the polish it didn't last 2 days without chipping.I gave it 3 lippies for the striking colors and the day it did last it didn't look too bad.I agree they have pretty colors but the quality sucks.
I bought this polish in Ethereal at Wal-Mart for less than $2. I wanted a quick-dry polish for manis and pedis in a hurry, as I hate waiting for my polish to dry! I always end up nicking it, or worse yet, sitting in front of a fan for 45 minutes waiting on it to dry. Yes these polishes have a slightly dull finish (similar to the UV-activated polishes at nail salons) and no, they don't last tremendously long. But, if you want something that truly dries in 60 seconds or less - this is it. If you want to put some quick polish on for a night out without spending too much time, then this stuff is the answer to your prayers. Great color selection and dries super quick. Use a shiny topcoat and you'll get a much nicer look, and the polish lasts longer. Will definitely repurchase!
I haven't had any of the mentioned problems with application, gloppiness, drying too fast, etc., but regardless of how I apply it (bare nails, base and top, one coat, two coats) it just doesn't last. I can deal with a cheap polish lasting only a couple days, but I can't get this to last through one. I love some of the colors, and the price is great, but I can't see buying them unless I'm desperate - some bizarre circumstance where no other polishes are available. Since that's unlikely to happen, I'm going to pass on this product.
I thought this product would be pretty spiffy as I always have major issues with slow drying nail polish and getting it ruined before it’s dried, etc, you know how it is.
So I used this stuff, and I bought it in 2 colours (both pale, sort of a neutral and also a pearly pink shade) and I’ve not really used them since that first time because well…they just suck basically.
I am not slow by any means at applying nail polish, but by the time I got to the second/third stroke on a nail, the first section had already begun to dry and had gone gluggy! I found it even tended to dry out somewhat on the brush before I even had a chance to put it on the nail properly!
So yeah…maybe it’s the hot weather here, but…I avoid these now, sadly. They’re really cheap, have a nice selection of colours, but…I just can’t get around the too-quick drying and glug factor.
