NOTE: this is for the new concentrate version, 1 oz $80, not the one that is 1.7 oz for same price.
Okay, I never believed in skincare hype, especially from a cosmetics brand. I do use Retin A, but always thought that it's better to save money for surgery and injections. WELL, I am wrong. THIS stuff is amazing. I have given it a full month and my skin has never looked better. How can I explain, it is just smoother, clearer and maybe firmer. I'm hooked. But do go for the concentrate as it has three times the potency, though it is more pricey. I use this twice a day but will go down to once soon due to the high ingredient component compared to the regular night repair and the price. Go tomorrow and get this. Amazing.
I really honest to god swear By this whole line!! The serum, concentrate, and eye gel! It has completely changed my skin I have combination skin with bad dry patches, horrible texture, uneven skintone and even sun spots starting from years of tanning salons and lack of brightness which someone my age should not be suffering from and now useing this the concentrate, eye gel, daywear and idealist serum in the a.m my skin has transformed I use to never even go to the mail box without makeup now I'll go w/o any foundation and people comment to me all the time how good my skin looks! I got my mom, boyfriends mom, grandma, 2 best friends, best friends mom, 3 girls at work and even my boss hooked on advance night repair and they all say the same thing, I saw some negative reviews and for people who don't do their research this is a SERUM you need to use a moisturizer with it! Serums repair skin, advance night repair does help absorb moisture ALOT but you need to use it with a moisturizer and same for the advance night repair eye it's an eye serum used to correct and repair you need an eye cream/ moisturizer with it or your not going to get the full potential of this product or any serum with any line, also whenever you start to use a new serum your more likely then not going to break out the first week or two no matter what line or serum you use it's your skins way of getting out all the toxins, dirt, ect.... That's why they say to try any serum for at least 4 weeks... I am break out prone and this serum I've had no issues with, only amazing results! Will buy again and again and again!! And FYI the BA told me you can apply over makeup with a brush it helps work during the day and gives a dewy glow, and I tried it and it really
this cause breakouts=( lucky i immediately used my nivea sparking white to repair my skin from this serum.. never going to use this ever.pass it to my mum..
There's something special about this product! I bought a sample from Ebay after I noticed some fine lines developing on my forehead. I used it for a week and noticed that my skin had changed - it was glowing, dewy, and the fine lines seemed far less noticeable. I am too young to have any proper wrinkles or signs of ageing, so I can't attest to whether or not it is any good at erasing those things. But I do know that it leaves my skin looking amazing, and that I feel good using something that is preventative. This is one of those products that, although it is expensive, I would never want to be without.
I deffinately saw a difference and i will deffinately buy this product again. A little goes a long way!
Liquid Gold. Honestly. I've never bought the full size product, I normally rely on getting it as a GWP, but this stuff is simply amazing. I am pretty conservative with it, as I only get so much at one given time, but the little bit I use a few days a week means I get up with a lot healthier looking skin. I love how I can go to bed and know that it's not going to encourage a greasy mess to wake up to, or tear a layer of skin off and set my face on fire as I sleep.
I use this at night and it instantly absorbs into my skin. I have really noticed a difference in my skin and will probably repurchase. It's pretty expensive, so I would recommend trying a smaller bottle in case it doesn't work out. Otherwise, I have nothing bad to say about this product.
I've used this for about 6 months [1.7 oz. is $80 USD at NM]. While I didn't notice a dramatic change in my skin, I'm convinced the serum has reduced the amount of breakouts I have since using it since it's the only product change I've made to my routine. For that reason alone, I'll continue to use. BTW, for my skin, I must have night cream; the serum does not moisturize at all for me.
After seeing a ton of ads about this in asian magazines, I bought it & was sorely disappointed. Besides moisturizing my face, it really did not do anything. I forgot how much it cost-- 39-43? but it was way too much for what little it did. After a week of using it I gave it away. It really didn't do anything & I'll just be sticking to cheaper but far more effective night face creams & serums.
Can't be 100% sure if this product is what did it, but my acne scarring has faded quite considerably since I have started using this about 3 weeks ago. No new breakouts either, which is always a plus.
My skin can be quite oily sometimes, especially my nose and forehead, but the rest is actually quite dry in winter. I thought this might be enough to get rid of little dehydration creases at the top of my cheeks but it isn't really. Since I'm quite happy with this product otherwise (skin tone definitely seems more even) I have now paired it with Hydrationist, which also doesn't break me out and hydrates quite well. Still haven't found the perfect moisturiser though... so far every one I have tried either breaks me out or only works in the short term.
I'm quite impressed by this product and am tempted now to try the 3 month 'blitz' version of it. Will probably buy it again.
Oh before I forget: the packaging is fine, it's just that a pump would probably be more practical but I guess that the old fashioned pharmacy feel to this bottle is some sort of marketing gimmick that obviously works.
Edit 2 April 2012: I just ran out of the 30 ml bottle. So that means that that lasted me approximately two months. I have been known to use this more than once a day though... for a while I used it both morning and night. Now that my skin has calmed down considerably I am going to start using it only at night. I just got the bigger 50 ml bottle. Hurt to pay almost 100 euro for it but it does work. I have to say, I originally got this and Hydrationist because I was starting to notice some dehydration lines at the tops of my cheeks/ around my eyes (turned 31 in February and since I don't smoke or drink I thought that was a bit early)... I didn't see much change with that initially but was very happy with the 'side effect' that my acne scars almost completely disappeared! Kind of forgot about the fine lines, but after 2 months now I must say HEY, THEY'RE GONE! I almost forgot about them. Could be that our central heating isn't on full blast anymore, but could also be these products. Who knows.
Edit 11 June 2012: WOW... I just have to update this just to let you know that I have NEVER found a skincare product this brilliant. I used to be so skeptical since my mom has great skin and she never used a beauty product in her life, but this product is the ONLY product I have ever come across that I would gladly spend money on and not feel duped. My acne scarring is completely gone and so are my fine lines, since I started using this in February. Right now, since it's hot and humid, I'm not even using any moisturiser with it and my skin still looks amazing, even without makeup. I find now I only use makeup to add colour, not to even out skintone or hide blemishes, which for me is really remarkable. I have never been so impressed with a product in my life and am amazed that something can work so effectively from the outside. I used to think creams and lotions were bullcrap apart from temporarily coating your skin so it doesn't dehydrate, and I thought the only way to really improve your skin was from the inside out. But this stuff has really turned me into a believer :D... Too bad for my wallet but hoorah for my skin.
