I bought this in Goddess of the Night in a light gold color. It's very smooth feeling - like oil, not goopy. I use it over lipstick & works as well as some of my more expensive lipglosses (can you say Cargo?). However, it doesn't last as long as my MAC l/g, but for the price, you can afford to re-apply - guilt free!
I really like this product!!! I have it in Goddess of the Night. On my lips, it looks like a subtle peachy pink. I would definitely buy this again in this shade and most likely other shades. It has nice texture, not too sticky. It's definitely glossy. The smell doesn't bother me. It smells like candy or lollipop.
I have this in Goddess of the Night which should be re-named Cheezy Porn Star. The gloss texture is nice, it's just the color that is wrong, probably for anyone other than Barbie. It is a Super Frosty Pale Pink, Almost White. Too much for me.
Colour: African Queen
Oh boy, was THIS ever made for queens! Only half-joking, as I do enjoy bright lip colour from time to time (I may be a gay male but no queen!), and this is the best one I have of all brands. This shade is bright pink, but not disgustingly so, since it has a lovely blue sheen. It stays put for a long time and tastes like strawberry banana.
this l/g, like other reviewers say, is like a liquid lipstick. it is highly pigmented, so i use it as a stain. and the texture isn't too sticky.
it is also very scented, which i can get past it. so wear it as a stain, but it is not a good gloss. will purchase again.
LOVE! MAC M/A's compliment my lips when I use this gloss as a topcoat over lipliner base.
Very glossy, very pigmented and NOT STICKY!
I purchased this in (123) Copper. This comes in a large 15 ml tube with a doe-foot applicator. I have been searching for this brand and finally found a display with some glosses and eyeliners at a tiny beauty supply store. Most of these lipgloss shades seemed too dark for me but I couldn't resist this pretty and bright copper shade. I don't typically wear browns or bronzes on my lips and this doesn't work well when applied straight from the tube; it's highly pigmented. After I blot it down, however, I am left with the prettiest stain, nice and shiny. Really good stay-power when worn this way. This is definitely more like a liquid lipstick than a gloss, so if you're looking for a sheer veil of color you aren't wanting this opaque gloss. I dislike the floraly taste/scent but can put up with it. I found this for all of a $1.49 - a total bargain. So far I have been impressed with this brand.
Not as super-heavy as other lip glosses. I don't get my hair caught in it nor do I feel like I have thick liquid weighing down my lips. it can be hard to keep it from straying around outside the lips. However, these are true GLOSSES. the clear shade is actually my favorite, because it makes my lips look like GLASS. if you want porcelain doll-unreal lips that shine like crazy, this is the gloss for you. it is also well worn over lipstick or other gloss colors. doesn't fade.
I have this in Sunshine, which is a pale golden shimmer in the tube (I'm drawn to gold shimmer like a damn idiot moth to flame). It's just clear gloss on lips, but I'm not sorry I bought it because the texture is awesome. It's only slightly sticky, yet thicker and more substantial than average glosses. The only con is the smell and taste, which is a strange artificial/chemical flavor. The smell fades right away, but the taste lingers for a little while. It does go away eventually, so I will be purchasing more of these.
For $1.99, this is a damn good lipgloss. I bought it in African Queen (very similar to L'Oreal Seafleur, a blue-pearl fuchsia) and Vixen (a deep burgundy-gold). The smell is a little funky, like lanolin or petroleum, but the color coverage is outstanding and I find it to have quite a high, glossy shine. It's got the color or a lipstick but the shine of a gloss. Be aware when choosing shades-- it WILL look just as dark or bright on lips as it does in the tube! Nice, smooth, non-sticky texture, too.
