not cheap but definitely worth its money. It does what it says.My hair is fine coarse and wavy and it detangles easily and smoothly. If it worked for me it should work for anybody.give it a try.
I'm in the US and had to order this product from the UK, but it was worth it. My hair is currently about an inch past my collar bone, super fine, and very tangle prone. In fact, my mom used to describe my hair as snaggled--a combination of snarled and tangled. Combing through my wet hair is usually my least favorite morning task because I have to do it very slowly and carefully, and end up with a knot at the back of my neck anyway. This brush glides through my hair more smoothly than my wide toothed combs and with minimal pulling. The teeth are a bit prickly and I agree with the other reviewer who said the brush falls out of her hand easily, but I think it's a great product overall and I'm considering getting a second for my bag.
This brush works nicely on wet hair. It gets rid of the tangles without pulling the crap out of your hair. I also like how the little plastic bristles feel on my scalp. They are a little sharp and feel good on my itchy scalp. Although, my husband and daughter don't like using this brush because of the kinda sharp scratchy feeling. The only problem I have is the brush slip out of my hand.
Wow - This brush looks a little menacing at first with the plastric teeth but this is the BEST styling brush I have ever bought - Glides through Wet hair without snagging and clearing knots in no time - no pain no snagging and SO easy - I bought this in my local UK Boots for £9.99. The packaging is simple and clear displays the colours, but its whats inside that counts and boy is this a great pressie. Molded plastic fits easily into the palm of your hand and a great choice of colours (Black, Pink, Green and Oyster). The price is very reasonable and due to being made from plastic type material will be great to keep clean and wash - this will last and last without that horrible residue you get on your bruishes from styling products that never seems to get off. Also used on my hair once dry as a restyler and creates smooth and stylish finishes in no time - perfect size for handbags/gymbags/schoolbags etc and just hope they bring out more ranges (as promised on the web). If you can get one do - QUICK xx
This product is so amazing! I've always had a problem when brushing my hair; the brushes always seem to pull off lots of hair making me feel like I'm about to go bald, no matter which brush I used
Since getting this one - which was love at first sight - I don't have this problem at all. Gets my tangles out easily and without pain. I love it!
I got this in pink and i have to admit that it totally replaced my brushes...its very leightweight, so handy and colorful...now besides the tangle teezer i only use a comb for when i want to straighten my hair....planning to repurchase a second one, in black- to throw into my gym bag!
I saw a video review for this product on youtube from a British girl. I was impressed with how easily she was able to brush her hair. The claims of reducing breakage and shedding also drew me in. I purchased it online from the creator's website, came in the mail about 2 weeks later. My hair is lots of fine, very long, color treated (bleach), wavy, tangled mess. Somedays I don't even try to comb/brush my hair because it's too much effort to deal with the matted mess of tangles. While I can't say with this brush I can start combing from the crown to finish while it's wet, but it is the best brush I've ever used. I feel I am better able to work thru tangles with it, but it hasn't reduced my shedding. The brush is also massaging to the scalp, in a gentle way. I hate the plastic brushes with the plastic tips. This brush resembles a dog grooming brush (mine is hot pink), plastic and shaped to the contours of your hand. It seems hardy - I've dropped it numerous times and no broken bristles. It's also sanitary - you can wash it since it's plastic. It is the only brush I use on my hair - besides a round brush for blowdrying big hair.
I ordered this online after reading some articles online about it, I was intrigued. The idea of less hair breakage and even the promise of shinier hair was definitely a draw. I've been using it for about a week now, and it is fantastic! I do have to say that i have stick straight asian hair, but having had my share of color treatments, etc. my hair tends to get tangled up after a good scrubbing in the shower. I even tried brushing starting straight from the roots to the ends, just as the previous reviewer did, and it went right through with less hassle than my wide tooth comb. Definitely recommend this brush.
Had to try this out of curiosity and yes it is brilliant. I have fine hair and am trying not to cause breakage by brushing and this rocks. Apparently it's also good for pets.

Tangle Teezer, a "unique" hair brush which is said to somehow magically detangle and guarantee smooth hair. I didn't get the thing about it when it was launched in Sweden, and I still can't figure out how it works. What I do know is that Tangle Teezer is pure magic. It zooms through my long locks and detangles every little knot in sight, and with such ease! I don't even have to start brushing at the ends, I can start right at the scalp to move the brush towards the ends and it doesn't even hurt one bit! Imagine that, detangled hair without the pain!
But how? To me, Tangle Teezer looks quite ordinary, ergonomically designed and with plastic spikes in two lengths. Yet it's without any doubt the best brush I've tried, which includes my $30 brush from The Body Shop and those natural bristle brushes that were supposed to be so good. Tangle Teezer rocks, and at the same time puzzles me! Ah well, I'll try to not think about those distracting thoughts and pat my smooth, knot-free hair instead!
I really recommend the Tangle Teezer! For £10, it's a bargain! Available in black and hot pink.
(I couldn't help but notice... isn't this view of Tangle Teezer uncannily alike the beetle version of Gregor Samsa in Kafka's "The Metamorphosis"? This is exactly how I picture him! I'm just waiting for my Gregor Teezer to crawl away here!)
