it's very inconsistant. doesn't cover much and could look cakey if you wear too much. the worst is that it ozidizes.

I don't generally wear powder foundation, this is one of only two that I have used in over twenty years after a round of them in the 80's when I was a teen. The ones back then were horrible, and that caused me to walk a wide berth around powder and wet/dry foundations since then.
A couple of years ago, I tried Besame powder foundation (after all, it was in the little vanity case I so adored) and found that it was absolutely wonderful for my complexion and for 'light days' when I didn't want to go with full foundation but still wanted to somewhat even and mattify my skin tone. And then.. they sold out. Horrors! Sorrow! Wailing and gnashing of teeth!
*ahem*
So I went about trying to find a replacement. I can't stand the mineral foundations because I find that they give my skin a sickly sheen, so I wanted something matte and easy to carry around. After working with several in Sephora (and have you ever gone into Sephora with no makeup on whatsoever? One feels positively naked!) I narrowed it down to MUFE and Dior. Hard choice, as I have fairly good experiences with Dior's liquid foundations, and absolutely horrible experience with MUFE's liquid foundations. But the cost and color match won me over.
I haven't tried this wet, as the whole point is something to use when I'm not using my liquid foundations. Dry, it goes on smoothly and blends well. I tend to either put it on really simply with just a medium sized powder brush all over if I'm just running errands, or if I'm going to work I apply it with a small cover up brush under the eyes, around the nose, on little red bits, then a sponge to the nose and forehead (T-zone!) and finally the powder brush all over with extra blending. I find it stays fairly matte for hours and evens things out without looking at all unnatural.
It's not quite as good as the unattainable Besame foundation, and I took a lippy off the packaging because it's absolutely gorgeous and sleek and stable, but.. a chip came off the plastic on the back on the second day. So I've had to be careful of it ever since.

I liked this product. I have it in 205 and depending on my tan it can be too dark. It goes on fast in the morning when I'm struggling with time. I use a brush to apply it and the sponge it comes with to pat around my nose. You do need to blend very well or it can look powdery.

Im NC30 - NC35 and got matched with #207. It's a bit dark for me and I feel like I have a mask on. It's definitely not yellow enough. since it seems like its more of a pink undertone. It accentuates dry spots and it does not go one smooth at all. I moisturized right before I applied this. I tried it 2 different days and the color is definitely dark for me and as I said before, it feels and looks like a mask. I don't like the finish at all. Its expensive, I paid $37+tax on this at Sephora. I seriously think MAC is the only cosmetic line that has enough yellow in their makeup to match me. Gonna return this!

I wear powder as a foundation and that's it. I have combo skin and live in a very humid area. I bought this on a whim without even reading the reviews first. The compact is very hard black plastic with a magnetic closure. It comes with a sponge in a under compartment and half of a mirror. I could care less about the sponge and the mirror as I only apply once a day at home with my brush so I can't tell you much on their quality. The compact was $32 at Sephora which is a little more then I want to pay for a powder I'll use up so quickly. I've tried BE, EDM, Sephora brand, and basically all of the drug store powders. I couldn't get the staying powder or coverage I wanted from any of those. Duo Mat has gave me the coverage I wanted (medium to full). It's strong enough to cover up most of my acne scars and red blotches. I got #200 which is a very pale yellow shade. The first time I tried this on I did it the way I had done with all my other powder, no moisturizer, just use a powder brush to apply. Well that didn't work so well. I looked super powdery. So I washed my face and applied my moisturizer then lightly applied. I did layers to build coverage and that made my face look great. The key really is to have a light hand and build layers. I did use the sponge to get full coverage on my under eye circles and it worked very nicely. I did my errands in 95 degree humid weather today and my makeup looked good when I got home so it's a keeper for me. Hopefully this well still work in the winter when my skin is dryer. I'll update if I notice any related break outs.

Edit: I returned this. I loved the coverage but some days I just couldn't get it to not look powdery no matter how light I applied it.

I absolutely love this powder foundation! I've had little success with any foundation working on my tan (Asian), oily skin until stumbling across this one (and believe me, I've tried everything from liquid, cream to powder, powder, mineral - all both drugstore and dept store brands). I would have to blot 30 minutes after applying my makeup before beause my face would get shiny by then but now I only had to do it once in the a.m. and in the afternoon so far! I love the coverage of this foundation as it evens out my complexion without looking "makeupy" (MAC's studio fix always looked like I had makeup on but this doesn't). The color match is perfect, which is usually a challenge for me (I got it in 209). Overall, this is my HG for foundations now because I have never encountered one that controlled my oiliness so well, matched my skin tone, and covered so well!

I love this foundation. It keeps me matte and i love it. The only con to this product is that it looks powdery when u apply it, but thats nothing a lil fix+ cant fix. I love it. I have it in 218. At first that colour is just a little bit too light but when it sets it gives me the perfect colour. Im a nw-47 for reference. This product is very expensive though for such a small amount that they give but i love it!!!

I bought this foundation for the second time. My skin is a combination of oily shiny skin on the T-zone and drier skin on my cheeks. My dry areas do not usually give me much trouble but when it's that time of the month, it becomes even drier and flakier. I also have mild acne scarring. This foundation gives medium to almost full coverage, however if you pile on too much it does make my dry parts look a bit cakey, powdery and flakey. It's very blendable and the staying power is pretty good but it doesn't last all day. It only keeps me shine-free for a 2-3 hours. However, the coverage stayed on longer than any other foundation that I've tried so I guess it's not bad. I'd say it lasts about 6 hours in good shape. If i put my make up on at 8am and check it at 5pm, I'll notice it has faded a little bit, not a whole lot though. I like this foundation alot and I would buy this over and over again if I can't find anything better but I'm thinking of trying a full-coverage creme formula foundation so my dry areas don't look cakey.

It's way too powdery on me! I use moisturizer+primer beforehand and after 1 layer of this, I look about 5 yrs older (in a bad way). The only way I can use it is as a light setting powder. I usually reapply 1-2x a day cuz I get oily again. It's a finely milled, firmly pressed high quality powder. However, it simply does not work well with my skin.

This offers great coverage and it is super easy and quick to apply which I love. I also love the silky feel. Sometimes it looks a but too powdery though and I did have a struggle finding a shade match. Love it overall though!
