Every girl should have this in her beauty collection! I mean why not? It has a million uses! My main two uses for this jelly is as a lip balm and a conditioner on my lashes. My mom has been puting this around her eyes for years before she goes to bed and swears it prevents wrinkles, and she DOES look awesome for her age so maybe there is some truth to that but im only 20 so im not going there yet. Just a great multi-use product.

I used to use smith's rosebud salve for my lips, but really those and vaseline are the same thing...planning to mix my own salve in the vintage-y pot after finishing my3x salves...LOVE the way it PROTECTS my lips. and it makes them plumper in the winter because it block the cold temperature from my body heat, thus creating a plumped effect...anyway I understand myself, and whoever uses this should too.LOVE it. the only thing is you cannot lick your lips or you will ingest this. thus you shall not put this on you teeth to block the red lipstick.

This really does have 1,001+ uses! It's super-cheap so it won't break the budget. I wouldn't use it as a facial moisturiser because it's more of a barrier to keep moisture either in or out so I think it would clog pores but I use it as a barrier around my hairline if I'm coloring my hair or under my eyes when I'm coloring my eyelashes. I've used it as a shoe polish. I use it on my lips as a balm. I slather it on my feet and put socks on overnight and when I wake up my feet feel exceptionally soft and beautiful. I've used it on my baby's bottom as a barrier to prevent rashes and on her eczema too. It can be used as a cuticle cream, on eyebrows, to soften rough skin on knees and elbows, etc, etc, etc.

This is an amazing product, definitely a HG for me. I have sensitive, dehydrated skin with a t-zone that is simultaneously flaky, dry, and oily. I've been using Vaseline all over my face at night before going to bed, and it has not broken me out at all. I wake up to soft, smooth skin, and my existing blemishes have greatly diminished. My skin tone is much more even and less red as well. I'm so happy I decided to give this product a try :)
Some other uses for Vaseline that I love:
Lip balm - makes my lips super smooth, soft, and glossy :)
Cuticles - I massage a little bit in at night and in the morning. My cuticles are usually dry, red and peeling. After using Vaseline for a few days, they look perfect.
Eyelashes - recently (two nights ago) I started applying it to my lashes before bed, and am hoping to see results soon :)
Heels - cover heels and rough spots in Vaseline before bed and sleep with socks on, awesome results.

I also plan to try using Vaseline to keep nail polish from getting on my skin while doing my nails. This stuff has a million uses and I will buy it forever <3 continued >>

this is a must have. i totally agree that it doesn't really help improve your skin or anything on its own BUT if you apply a cream and then the vaseline it does do wonders. i think it's a must have for every household.

This has been a staple in my home for decades. There are a million and one uses for this bargain product. I apply this every evening to my cuticles to keep them looking their best.

I suffer from eczema and Vaseline seems to do a better job than my prescription steroids at times. First of all it's great for my lips, which get chapped very easily. Whenever I get a bad flare up of eczema on my face I slather vaseline on the areas affected and seal it in with a mostruizer afterwards twice a day. This doesn't clog my pores or anything, it just makes my skin look much better. Especially when I recently had bad eczema covering my entire face after going to the beach three days in a row. I tried using elidel for two days and nothing improved. I then used Vaseline and my eczema cleared up in about three days! I just have to say that Vaseline wasn't potent enough for the eczema on my hands, but still you can never go wrong with petroleum jelly. I really hope I could help anyone out there that has become frustrated and tired of their eczema!
