I LOVE this eyeshadow, every day i wear it i get comments on how beautiful my eyes look. It is a apricot/gold color with gold glitter and i do suggest putting on this eyeshadow before putting on foundation because the glitter does get every where and it is almost impossible to remove!! I put this on my lid and a little bit above the crease and then i use espresso on the outer corner of my eye and then use my powerpoint pencil in teddy all around my eye and my eyes just look lovely! Great color if your willing to get past all that glitter!!!

This is one of my absolute favorites ... every time I use it someone asks me about my eyeshadow or makes a comment about how blue my eyes are -- it really makes them pop. That being said, I would never wear this alone and have almost always used it over a base shadow (usually a coral or chocolate brown) to change it up a bit. When I use it like this, I have had no problem with staying power or the flaking that some of the others have described.

This is a great eyeshadow if you're going for the dramatic egyptian goddess type look. However, since the formula is lustre, it isnt going to last very long if you dont have a good primer underneath. I love it though, great for highlighting as well. Goes well with sumptuous olive too!

this eyeshadow really bought out my blue eyes but it also looked really great when i had my green contact lenses in...staying power was ok, altho it did fade during the day and i had to reapply...however its quite glittery and the glitter bits went all over my face and it was a nightmare gettin them off. but leaves a gorgeous effect on the whole

I received this item in a swap. It's a gorgeous color, but it isn't the kind of color I was looking for. I originally was looking for a more finely milled version of Retrospeck, but no luck. This color is a bronzey gold color which is slightly darker than Retrospeck. It looks good on me, but it's way too flakey; I dislike large chunks of glitter in my base color on my lids. Even when I apply it with my finger, which is common for lustres, I can't make it work for me. Up for swap it goes! :P

BEAUTIFUL on my hazel brown eyes/ Medium skin tone. I use it with the MAC liner brush for my lower lash line, and it brightens up my whole face. This is best for a warm skin tone. My favorite gold ever.

I love MAC eyeshadows, but this one was awful. I know to expect some glitter on the face from lustres, but this one bothered my eyes all day. It was all glitter. Color payoff was not so good either. Too bad, the color is pretty in the pan.

One of my favorite shadows. Honey Lust looks so pretty with Tempting. It was the first look I was given at the MAC counter & I really love it. I will definately be repurchasing this, it's gorgeous

This is so beautiful in pan and on my very PPP skin. It's the only golden color I've really ever liked on myself. It flakes like mad, so I have to use a small firm brush or sponge-tip applicator and apply slowly and carefully. I actually don't mind the lustre formula too much, especially this shade, because the extra effort is worth the gorgeous, sparkly results. For a drop-dead sexy look (and no sparkles all over the cheeks, an added bonus!), use Jordana Craving Coffee shadestick knockoff as a base and pack Honey Lust over it for an amazing, crazy-shimmery golden brown. =)

For everyone that does not like lustre eyeshadows...you should definitely purchase a cream color base (for dry lids), or a shadestick (for normal lids) and use it as a base before applying the shadow onto the lid! I cannot stress how much the color will pop and hold the less pigmented formulation of mac lustre shadows. I also heard that using fluidline as a base helps as well! I love this color, but you need to use a base with this in order to get a good color payoff.
