I have worn this product just twice. So far I really like it. I have hooded eyelids and the brush is the perfect size. Before applying it though I apply the Tarte eyelash primer which comes in a purple tube and is white. Due to the eyelash primer it makes the mascara work ten times better. It curls my eyelashes and makes them longer. Normally I have short stubby lashes. Without the primer I do not find the mascara works as well which is the reason I rate it four stars instead of five
The effect I got from this mascara was quite natural but it transfers like crazy on me. I cant last an hour before I notice the panda eye effect and Im not rubbing my eyes like a maniac... Sorry but binned it..
The brush is really annoying and if not applied correctly it can look very clumpy and gives you spider lashes. It does give you a lot of length but for everyday I prefer something that would look natural and would give me thickness.
My BIGGEST problem with this mascara is that after some days of using it, my lashes starting falling out very easily and my eyes became dry...sort of a burning sensation. Stopped using it and I dont have those problems anymore.

This is an okay mascara that would be good for everyday use. It coats my lashes pretty well and catches pretty much every lash. Doesn't do much for length or curves though. I probably wouldn't buy it again but if you want a natural look it would be good.
Wow. I was surprised at all the negative comments about this mascara....I actually really like it and it just may be my favorite 'drug store' mascara.
First off, I am a huge mascara fan - it is the one make up item that I would take if I was on a deserted island. I don't leave the house without it on.
That being said, Diorshow is my absolute favorite. However, I simply can't pay $30 every 3 months for mascara. So I only buy this once in awhile for a treat.
I was at Shoppers and saw this one when looking for a replacement and thought I'd give it a try. Well, the wand works wonders for me -- it found lashes I didn't know I had. The look is very natural for me (which is important because I'm blonde and can easily look like Bette Davis with clumpy formulas). Yes, it takes a little longer to apply, but that's a good thing because you can find every lash without fear of overdoing it.
To fan the lashes out after and give them a 'fullness' effect, I use the dry "mascara wand" end of the Quo Lash Comb (from Shoppers). So, not the lash comb, but the other end that looks like a mascara brush. Hope this helps!
EDIT: the formula doesn't last very long....it got kind of dry after about 1 month. So, like other cheaper mascaras, you need to replace a little sooner.
To my happy surprise, I really love this product! Maybelline Great Lash gets all sort of bashing on this site, but I noticed some positivity about this new Lots of Lashes formulation so I decided to try it out. The wand is an interesting concept that has pros and cons for me. The actual conical shape and arrangement of bristles is very good- it catches my lashes and separates them perfectly. However, the applicator itself is very small. Since I have long and relatively voluminous lashes already, it takes longer for me to coat my lashes with this mascara than it takes me with most other mascaras. However, I really like the results, so no complaints. The volume I got from this mascara didn't wow me- it looked pretty natural really. Then again I only applied maybe a coat and a half because this is the best "natural" look I've gotten from a mascara. It defines my lashes really well but doesn't make them look over-dramatic. It's the perfect in-between look and I LOVE it! Interestingly, I also got really good length from this product, I think because it doesn't weigh my lashes down. My lashes literally touched my browbone while wearing this mascara! Of course, my lashes are long already, but most mascaras, especially voluminizing ones, weigh them down a bit and make them look a bit less lengthy. This mascara just provided clean definition, a small amount of "voluminizing", and length. A really good choice for an everyday mascara, and one of the cheapest you'll find at the drugstore. Glad I tried this one!
i am hoping to return mine cause it is awful! it is so sticky, i always poke my eye with its god-awful brush and though it's cheap it's still not worth it. it feels freaking heavy on my eyelashes even if apply it thinly. sooo not worth the buck. do not buy.
Okay. I bought this mascara with high hopes. I follow Maybelline religiously and when they released this mascara, I thought "YES A NEW MASCARA!" I was horribly disappointed. The brush makes your eyelashes all clumpy and spider-looking. Not cute. The formula seems to be alright but the brush just killed it for me, because I'm not one to mix brushes and formulas from different mascaras. Don't buy it if you have long eyelashes.
Okay so if you have long Lashes don't buy!! This brush and the old one it had or has doesn't really work on long lashes . It just takes so long to cover them all and it won't even cover them all. The formula itself is pretty good, so what I do is I use a different brush from a different mascara.. These brushes don't work!! Believe mee!! Formula is good brushes bad.
