Covergirl's Lashblast line is the only mascara that did not flake and had a moist enough formula for me to be able to say that my lashes are soft and bendable with mascara on. I wanted both length and volume (but mostly volume) from a dependable brand that was waterproof and not flakey. Volumizing mascaras are great, but many of them (especially Maybelline and Revlon!) are very flaky! I saw this in a drugstore on sale for $7.49, and I decided to buy it since Covergirl mascara has not failed me yet. Boy, was I ever right! This mascara has a great-textured formula that is very moist, leaving your lashes hydrated, extremely soft and flexible, and flake-free. It has buildable coverage, which is very important because a great mascara can give you long and volumized lashes for daytime or full-blown doll-eyed lashes for special occasions. The packaging is very cute and clean-looking, and the big brush is very soft and full of rubber bristles. Covergirl, thank you for giving me my HG mascara without having to spend a fortune! Never stop making this!

The first time I used this mascara, I somewhat liked it because it did make my lashes look darker and a tad fuller. I decided to try it out again to compare it to LB Length and UGH, the brush was clumpy as soon as I took it out and it's still clumpy even after a month of using it. It takes a bunch of coats to get a desirable look but it's nothing special.

The worst part is the chemical smell of it... I wear contact lenses so it really dries out my eyes. Even if it flakes a bit and gets into my eye it's super painful... ugh! The brush is also pretty chunky and it's not good for bottom lashes (LB Length does a better job of that).

I definitely wouldn't recommend this mascara to someone who wears contact lenses, but I think it'd be an okay mascara for anyone else.

Note this: No volume, lengthening but no volume.
The lashes barely look like they mascara on and the brush is big and cumbersome. Would not buy again.

When I first read all the positive reviews I was really excited about this mascara, but it's not that great. While it does add volume, it doesn't do much for length and is terrible at holding curl. My eyelashes will droop down after 1.5 hours. It also has a weird smell.

This mascara has a wimpy, wet formula and the brush is so fat I cannot wiggle it between my lashes to evenly coat them. I just don't understand how this (or LashBlast, for that matter) works for anyone. Can't hold a candle to Tarte's Lights, Camera, Lashes!

When I first got this mascara I thought it was pretty good. Now I look back on it and realize, (considering I bought this at The Christmas Tree Shop), it sucks! it's supposed to lengthen and define your lashes right? Well I tried the card trick (putting a card on top or below your eye lid to get a better look) and barely nothing came out on the card! Nothing was going on my lashes either. It didn't do much and didn't hold a curl very long either. The only way for it to come out the way I wanted it to was to put on too many coats.

This was my second try at buying a new mascara. It was a giant fail for me. It went on okay and it did not smudge even though it was none waterproof. I was thinking it would be alright, but not the case. I used my Lancome eye makeup remover to wash it off that night and it looked as though I got it all but the next morning I found flakes everywhere! I did not think I would ever get my face cleaned off. I got the blackest black I could find but it was not so black on my eyes. I bought two that day as they had buy one get one half off. I never opened the other one because being the same brand to me meant the same thing would probably happen. I took them back for a return and purchased a different brand yet again. So far so good with it. I will write a review on it if it is still okay tomorrow. I am starting to think drug store brands are not so good anymore. I was using Estee Lauder all this time but can only get that from the Mall. I may end up having to go out of my way to purchase E.L. if this third try is a big failure.

Like, woah. This is the mascara equivalent of a "scrubber" for me. Never before have I applied mascara and immediately wished I could wash it off. I don't know where all the positive reviews come from because I've now tried two tubes, thinking maybe the first was just old, but no - both tubes give me clumpy, spidery lashes that even a spoolie won't un-clump. (Of course I pat the wand on a tissue before applying to remove the clumps) It looks as if the brush doesn't coat lashes evenly. I'd like to try the formula with a brush from another mascara to see if my suspicions are correct.

So...if you're looking for clumpy, spidery lashes that look great from a distance but are a hot mess up close, this is the mascara for you. Otherwise, I'd steer clear. And seriously - the tube is designed to tip over if a strong breeze blows your way, so it's pointless to even attempt to stand the tube upright. Points were deducted for the packaging fail.

I get great length and volume from Lash Exact, great length (but little volume) from Rimmel Lash Accelerator, and YSL Faux Cils gives me great everything. Lash Blast Fusion can't compare to any of these, unfortunately.

I love this stuff and never go anywhere without it! I have super short lashes and I get the Very Black and it gives me great length and volume for a decent price :) Totally recommend it to everyone!

Good mascara for every day look, can be paired with another mascara to oomph it up. It provides me with good length and pretty good volume. I like that it is very black, and applies on smooth. It doesn't clump on me, and does NOT smudge. The only thing I dislike is the wand. I know many people love it, but I find it too bulky for me. A few swipes with this and I get a nice dark, long lash. Sometimes, I pair this with L'Oreal volumnous for extra oomph. So far, out of the drugstore brands, I have loved the Covergirl mascaras. I got this for 2 for $10 at Target, which is a very good deal.
