I really like this eye liner, it's very dark giving my eyes are more defined look and it stays on all day. However it can come out quite thick and it ends up covering my eye shadow and when this happens it is difficult to remove and it ends up smudging. But it is easy enough to apply if the brush doesn't have clumps on it. These are easily removed by just running the brush under water.
I loooooove this eyeliner. I've been using it forever and it works great. It can smudge just a little bit if your eyelids are oily (try setting it with a little eyeshadow if it does that). It also sometimes makes my eyes water a bit, although they do that anyway, but I didn't mark it down because it's a fantastic product and will stay on ALL day. Plus, it's really buildable: I have it in brown and if you do it really lightly you'll get a pale, maple brown that's super-wearable or if you go really heavy (as I do) you get something that's almost black, but not *quite* as intense. It goes on smoothly and the brush is great, I've never had any problems. It doesn't look like you get much in the packaging but that little bit of eyeliner will last FOREVER. Even though I wear it every day and apply it really thickly it took me like 6 months to make a noticeable dent in it. I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a quality eyeliner that isn't too pricey.
***EDIT*** I just bought a new one in black and I have to say, it can be a bit smeary at times. I am in a humid climate at the moment, which doesn't help, but if you're going to put it on thickly I would recommend trying to dry it out a bit, like leaving the lid off overnight or something, so the formula will thicken up. It also depends on whether you have dry or oily eyelids.

I absolutely love the brush that comes with it and it's a great colour. Very easy to use, can tend to smudge a little.
My eyes are monolids, meaning applying eyeliner is a real pain. When I apply an eyeliner that is too wet, I would end up with an extra line of black above my lid.. not the look I want
When I first tried the gel liner, I didn't like it. Letting it dry after applying it was annoying, and at the end of the day, I would end up with the eyeliner smudged above my lid.
BUT I realized then when I use a combination of (ETUDE eye primer), a generous application of matte nude eyeshadow, my eyeliner stays intact... 8 hours+ of smudge-free eyes!
If I apply it on my upper or waterline, I always like to use a black matte eyeshadow to set it because it absorbs excess moisture and reduces smudging.
* Also if your eyeliner dries out, what I suggest is to put the TINIEST amount of glycerin (available everywhere I swear) and put it in warm water for a couple of minutes.
I wanted to love this, but it didn't work out so well for me. When I apply an eyeliner at 6am I need it to last until at least 8pm. Unfortunately this fades in just a few hours. Too bad because it looks really pretty when first applied. As far as the brush goes I prefer an angled one to the one it comes with. I'll experiment with primers and finishing sprays am update this review if I can increase the staying power because it does have potential.
Now, my lids are oily and the type that whenever I open my eyes, my eyeshadow doesn't show.
So when I apply this gel liner, it immediately smudges, so I just stick to liquid eyeliner. However, I found this useful as a sort of stencil before applying liquid eyeliner, since this easily wipes off my skin.
And recently, I tried applying this to my waterline and turns out it's GREAT!
I almost always avoid putting liner on my waterline because it always ALWAYS fades off, smears, etc.
For my type of eyes, this is solely for waterlines and stenciling cat eyes.
Additionally, I also found out that my cousin has the same thing. However, it cooperates with her perfectly. Her skin type is dry and she has higher eyelids, so eyeshadow would show on her.
If you have the same type of eyes as my cousin's I'd recommend this to you because the pigments are rich, the application is smooth and easy, and it looks good.
But if you're like me, you'd have limits.
This was my first gel eyeliner that I ever bought. When i first used it I loved it because it was really black and would stay on all day. But after using it for a while, I notice that it just wasn't the same as when I first used it. The product would smudge, transfer and disappear after a couple of hours and I would just look ridiculous. When I would do a cat eye and check up on after a while, sometimes one of the flicks would be gone and the other still in tact. This product is definitely not waterproof or smudge proof. This is an alright product, I do use it on days when I know I won't be out for long. To end on a good note, the brush that it comes with is really good.
I love the packaging of this product, and the little brush that comes with it. I bought it in eggplant, after using the black tester in store, and while I love the colour, the eggplant seems to be a bit thicker textured than the black and brown, and a bit harder to apply. It is definitely not smudge-proof, but I haven't had any real issue with that so far.
Finally a drugstore brand with a gel liner in my country. Gotta say, love this stuff. Very pigmented product and easy to apply. It lasts for a very long time (not 24, like maybelline claims). After about 10 hours It needs some touch ups but then your good to go. However I dont think its waterproof, if i use it on my waterline it will fade quickly, also it can smudge a bit, but generally doesnt happen. All and all good product, decent price and the brush they gave you with it is pretty good as well :)

So this is my first encounter with gel eyeliner and I have to say, I'm hooked! Previously I tried many brands of liquid eyeliner, mostly with felt tips, but I found it so hard to apply!! I always made the line too thick or accidentally smudged it or got it in my eye and I could never get it close to the lash line. I thought gel eyeliner would be the same but I love it!
The brush provided with this product I think is very helpful. I can get right into the lash line and create a very sharp line with it. I also love the smooth consistency that glides easily but isn't too liquidy. This just makes it so much easier to apply! I also find that this product gives you a very natural look which I like because I was initially quite afraid of putting anything but a bit of subtle smudged khol pencil on my top lash line. Anything else I felt was too heavy but this is brilliant.
The price was okay I suppose, I live in Singapore and I think it's a bit more expensive here. It's 20 singapore dollars but I really do love this and think it's worth what you pay although I did notice you get a rather small amount of liner compared to the packaging.
Overall I would definetly recommend and repurchase this product. Even though I think it's slightly over priced it's great for begginers and for people who don't want an over-the-top look! LOVE IT!
