I have very dry, acne prone skin with a bit of scarring, so I bought this to help clear those up a bit. I have extremely fair skin, so I was happy to say that this foundation range suited me very nicely. I don't think I get the most natural look with this as I can still see that I am wearing foundation. It didn't bring out any dryness but didn't help with it either. As for the scarring, I do not wear foundation every day, probably only once or twice a week, so I can not really give this a fair review. I noticed absolutely no difference with either the acne or the scars, which I could have over looked if I had gotten a more natural finish with it. It is a fairly decent foundation, but I'm sure there has to be something better out there.
I bought this foundation after using YSL for years - I have stopped going on a sunbed and hence my skin is much paler and YSL didn't have a shade that matched me perfectly. The assistant was great, she recommended a toner, moisturiser and cleanser for me and lastly this foundation. It looks great on and felt silky smooth. It glides on easily with a foundation brush or finger tips and gives me the right amount of coverage and oil control for my combo skin. I have since swapped to Chanel Teint Innocence as i wanted a more natural look. I would definitely recommend to others.
Originally, I wanted to buy the Clinique Superbalanced Makeup. I once was given a sample of that, and I really liked it the 2-3 times I used it, so I wanted to go to the Clinique counter to have it applied again and hear a professional opinion. But the woman on the counter said, that for my skin (normal/combination skin) the Even Better Foundation would be a lot better. She applied it on me, I liked it, so I bought it straight away. At home I realized, that it was a little too dark for me.
After a few hours my skin felt so dry and the foundation felt very heavy and tugged on my skin horribly. However, it gave exactly the amount of coverage I wanted, so I gave it a few more gos the following days, but the more I used it, the less I liked it. It not only FELT heavy and drying, my skin also looked cakey and chapped.
Very, very disappointed. Should've gotten the Superbalanced one.

I wanted to buy a good quality liquid makeup because whenever
I use powder foundation, it looks really cakey and gross. The first time
I used it, it felt greasy, and heavy on my face. I used it a few more
times, but ended up taking it back :( I would recommend Lóreal Paris
True Match liquid makeup. Its way cheaper, and lightweight.
I have tried a lot of foundations and so far, this is my favourite. I love how natual it looks, and it evens out skin tone really well. it looks nice and dewy, but doesnt let my oily t-zone sgine through at all during the day. stays on all day and there is no need for touchups. shade 01 is just perfect for my yellow undertoned fair skin, but i could see how it would be too dark for very fair skin tones. makes my skin look good naturally.

I didn't use this product consecutively enough to notice if it improved my complexion or not. When used over Lancome La Base Pro primer, my face looked very smooth and even toned. I am about NC42 and originally purchased the color Sand, which was basically an exact match upon application, but too dark/orange after oxidization. I should also mention that this was in winter. I exchanged for Honey, which was a much better match - a touch too light, but after powder and a bit of wear/oxidization, it was a perfect match.
It's nothing spectacular, and I still have half of my bottle left and I don't reach for it at all. I would use it if I ran out of whatever foundation I was using at the moment. Not bad, but I would not repurchase as there isn't really anything to like about it for me.
Weird how one of the only foundations to break me out is claimed to be made by dermatologists. I wore this product for about 16 hours, and when I took it off, my face was HORRIBLY broken out. It didn't have as full of coverage as I would have liked, and also looked a bit cakey. This product is one where anybody can tell that you're wearing foundation. I would only recommend this product to an enemy.

I breakout very easily and have been switching foundations every 9 months or so trying to find the right one. In the 10 years I've been wearing foundation, Even Better has been the best fit for me yet. It does an awesome job at repairing the damage my acne causes. Tried it for the first time 8 months ago and I've seen noticeable improvement from when I first started. I don't feel as though it contributes to my acne (I blame that on stress and other factors). It's pricey. :( I Will continue to use until I can find another foundation that yields the same results for a lesser price.

LOVE this stuff! Definitely a staple in my collection. I have it in Cream Chamois, which matches me pretty perfectly. Its a light to medium foundation I would say, so I still use concealer in areas where I need it. It doesnt make my face oily throughout the day which I usually have problems with and it doesnt dry out my skin either. The Even Better part like it claims does work I think, I've noticed that the redness by my cheeks has gone down alot, although its not competely gone, this foundation has helped. I do like the packaging because its a squeeze bottle and I think its easy to use. It may be a bit on the pricier side, but I think buying more expensive makeup can sometimes work out better in the end. I really like cliniques products. I am almost out of my 1st bottle so Im definitely repurchasing!
I have freckles, and sometimes I'm in a mood to cover them up, but I don't want to look like I have spackled my face. This foundation was perfect for this purpose. Nice even color, and great blendability. I don't wear it everyday, but when I am looking for a bit more coverage. Not the most opaque foundation, but worth the money.
