Just picked another one of these up tonight, because I had lost my current one and I can't live without this! For the price, you can't beat it. Works just as well as higher priced ones, IMO, but only $3. LOVE!

**Cruelty Free - Synthetic Bristles**

This brush is awesome! I also have the Sigma equivalent which cost 4 times as much & started to shed the first time I used it. The elf flat top stippler is fantastic, I'm going to buy another for powder application. I don't say this very often: HG.

I <3 elf for being very affordable, cruelty free, and of comparable quality to high end brands.

EDITED TO ADD: I've had this brush for about 6 months & it's been shedding quite badly for the past month or so. It feels scratchier on my skin than my Sigma F80 which is still going strong - virtually no shedding, much softer feel, does the job nicely (I alternate between using the Sigma & E.L.F. to apply foundation). I really can't complain for $5 but just wanted to update my review for honesty's sake. I now mostly use this brush to set my foundation with finishing powder which it does nicely. Removed 2 lippies to reflect the paragraph above.

I use this to apply my liquid foundation. Great for stippling on makeup. It hasn't shed on me yet and I've had this brush for about 6 months. Highly recommend.

E.L.F continuously impresses me and surpasses my expectations. I bought this brush at Target for 3$. Three Dollars. Is this real life? These bristles are so amazingly soft, I love the long handle, and the dense shape of the brush - but not TOO dense. I bought two of these, one for powder and one for liquid foundation/liquid products. 6$ for two amazing brushes. I have tried every brush from every brand and these are just as good, if not better. I love E.L.F, their products, and especially their brushes! I used this with my Studio Fix Fluid and mixed some L'oreal True Match to lighten up my current color, and this honestly buffed into my skin like no other brush has ever done before. It looked like I had no pores, yet covered my redness and my imperfections. It was so thin that it barely looks like I have any make up on at all, yet enough to give me full coverage. this brush is a miracle. Also, this is the only brush I can use for my Revlon ColorStay that gives me immaculate results, I don't even have to smooth it out with my fingers or anything. I bought mine at Target.

There are a lot of reviews for this brush so I won't go on and on. This is a great brush for being so cheap! I stiple first with it and then buff and it takes no time at all to get my makeup blended and even. I bought a second one today to use for powder. Go figure, it's a great powder brush too ;)

For someone who's new to this makeup world, I find this brush to be the best cheap brush ever. It's soft, it's swift and it;s perfect for an even application. Packaging is fine to me because if it's tampered with, you would be able to tell. I love this brush.

What to say that hasn't already been said? I agree with everyone about how great this brush is. It applies my foundation effortlessly as well as my finishing powder and it NEVER wastes product, not a single drop of product. I love that about it. Most cheap brushes or sponges just soak up all of your makeup. I have 2 of these brushes. 1 for foundation and the other for powder.
I use them for daily use and special occasions. Lublublub.

makeup brushes are ridiculously expensive, that's a fact.for a makeup artist, that's probably investment, but for the rest of us, to buy a 30bucks brush is a luxury.and only a few of us who can afford that.and ladies, i owe you all great amount of gratitude.i've been looking for a decent all-purpose brush that wont rip my money off when i got myself read this page.

so i bought one.

this brush is sturdy, doesn't shed, very soft, easy to clean, easy to hold.
i use it to contour with cream foundation, and it does the buffering/blending job perfectly. i have airbrushed, perfect look in 20secs.
for buffering, this is fabulous.anything just blends in perfectly, effortlessly.
i dont label this or that as HG easily, but this one is the crown jewel on my vanity table.run to the nearest drugstore and stash them already! :D

Like the majority of the reviews, I happen to simply adore this gem! It's durable, never sheds (and I tend to put a bit of pressure on this tool), very soft and is dense. The price is amazing, $3. Why isn't this product rated a perfect 5 lippies MUA? The handle is nice and thick so I have no problems controlling the brush. I'm sad that only Target (where I live) sells the e.l.f. brand & I don't go there very often, I can always order online though. I now understand the hype of e.l.f. studio brushes! I use this to blend facial primer, liquid foundation, pressed powder, pressed powder foundation, and occasionally cream blush. I will say it's a tad big for blush but that's perfectly fine for me. I will be repurchasing this and other e.l.f. studio brushes as well! Thanks so much MUA for this amazing find! continued >>

I origonally gave this a not-so-hot review. I was using this with my CoverGirl 3-in-1 Foundation (fuller coverage) but switched to Almay Clear Complexion as the months began to get warmer. I was using my Real Techniques Stippling Brush to apply it, but found that it blended streakily and wasn't the coverage I wanted, but I loved the foundation so much. So I broke this bugger out to use...and I have to say, I love it so much! It applies smoothly and blends evenly, and covers well. The brush is so dense that it's able to give me medium coverage with one layer, and it gives me *even* coverage, never patchy. But it doesn't ever make my face feel like a mask. I've found this works better with light to medium coverage foundations rather then full because it gets you the most out of your foundation. So with full, it tends to look cakey. I've tried a ton of ELF brushes, and I have to say, I will never be without this nor will I ever need to buy another foundation brush again. This is hg, and for three dollars, you can't go wrong. It also looks pretty expensive in my brush cup with it's chic black handle and bristles. The downside is I feel like I need to wash it at least three times a week, but when I do it hardly sheds. This is a bargain!
