Im not in love with this product. Im big on highlighters but this stuff is sort of a blend of shimmer and very tiny specks of sparkle. Its a little too chunky. I like for highlighters to give an even sheen to my olive skin. I do use the product but I have to work to get it just right because of the consistency. I usually use a highlighting brush with a pump of mac's fix plus to keep the flecks from going everywhere and applying evenly. A little goes a long way. A good alternative would be hard candy's baked "blush" in honeymoon which is very frosty in my opinion, to use as a blush. I cant imagine someone with olive skin like me or even darker skin, using it alone as a blush but it gives the perfect even sheen I love when used as a highlighter and for a quarter of the price. I might try this product again but in a different color. Its a lot of product that u get so I dont anticipate running out anytime soon.

Well, it's an okay product. It can be very glittery if you aren't careful when you apply it. I only use it on my cheekbones, and only rarely.
It's kinda expensive and I'm very worried about breaking the case(packaging) that I think is more fragile than other mac products.
It does look good on my NC 25-30 skin though,
This is really pretty.. it is pretty much a dupe for thebalm mary lou-manizer .. way cheaper than the balm! the only thing is you have to be really careful and use just a tiny amount or it will look hideous and emphasize any pores you have where its applied.

RETURNED IT. Check out Highbeam by Benefit if your looking for an highlighter.

I thought this product was kind of bulky to just carry around, especially since it doesn't have a mirror or anything. I tried applying this with 5 different kinds of brushes, but I couldn't achieve the dewy beauty everybody talks about! It was chunky and obvious, not a look I want to go for.
This is gorgeous- however it is VERY sparkly and if you use too much of it - disaster. On the bright side, you only need a small amount so it will last FOREVER. I really do love the effect of this but I had to minus a lippie due to the fact that I have rather large pores and this did show them off a bit. Other than that, this is gorgeous and I love it.
This product gives your skin a beautiful candlelit glow! I use it on my temples, above my cheekbones and a bit on my nose. It pairs great with my favorite blush by MAC, peachykeen. I always get asked what I use on my skin when wearing this! It just makes you so glowy and pretty! I love this and will definitley repurchase as soon as I run out, I use a MAC 129 to apply for reference I am a MAC C3 in studio fix powder and an NC37 (summer) in studio fix fluid.

I wear this every day. When I bought the product originally from a Mac store the lid had popped out but I simply pushed it back in and it hasn't caused any dramas since. I use this as a highlighter on my cheeks, eyebrows and nose. It adds a slight shimmer for a dewy look but nothing over the top and looks great in photos.
MAC Mineralize Skinfinsh in Soft and Gentle is really good if you are looking for a highlighter that really makes your skin stand out. However, I would not recommend this to a person with fair skin because it is a little too bronze, and the color might not blend well. Also, this product could easily make you look like a disco ball if you apply too much! It can be way too glowy and sparkly! It could also look like way too much in some lighting and way too little in other types of lighting. It can also make your skin look extremely uneven! I have gotten some compliments on it, but I have also gotten some negative feedback as well. This can also wear off your skin if you are outside. Personally, I think this product costs way too much ($28.00) for what it's really worth! Women should only purchase this if they have a bronze or an olive skintone, and they should use it sparingly. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this product!
