After so many foundations, countless money spent and many break outs afterwards, this foundation worked great on my skin. Its not oily, it doesn't clog my pores, it matches my yellow skin, and it last long. I like it.
katie price wears this so i thought i would try it , i did like it but some one put me off it when they asked if i was wearing mac studio and said i looked ill and that i had jaundice,
it goes on well you have to be quick with it was drys fast but this gave me spots and is pretty heavy looking and i think it ages you if your over 30 using this.
I enjoy this foundation when I have something to cover up because it is full coverage, matte finish...my only issue is the fact that it doesn't come with a pump (have to purchase it separately for around $6-7) and the color match is so off. NC25 is too light and NC30 is too yellow - all of MAC foundations are insanely yellow. The reason I gave this three stars is because it photographs terribly due to the SPF 15, the weird color match, and I don't think this is suitable for daily wear (it is rather heavy feeling). But if I'm going to just wear it when I go out, I would want it to be able to photograph nicely - see my dilemma here?
I tried this many years ago. I went to MAC and asked for a foundation suitable for dry to very dry skin and was given this. I imagine it works great on normal to oily skin, but this is in no way for drier skin types. The formula was thin, the color was kind of chalky and it irritated my skin. It was very drying and seemed to disappear into my skin. There was no finish, the product chalked up and disappeared, leaving my skin a desert. I returned this and moved on to the Clinique counter where I was happy for many years.
I used this for years, and although it covered up spots and blemishes, it seemed to aggravate them too. Really does have a flawless finish, but is quite heavy and oily in texture so not good for people with oily, spot prone skin. I quickly got myself off the addiction of just using it to hide imperfections, and have now opted for a foundation which is kinder to my skin as well as offering good coverage (thankfully I need that less now). My advice would be to avoid this product as an everyday foundation, perhaps just keep it for when you need to be photo ready for a few hours on a night out!
I mix nw25 and nc25 to achieve the right colour. Really like this foundation but there are better out there, not as heavy as Revlon colorstay but also nowhere near as long lasting or shine proof.
This foundation does absolutely nothing for me. It melts away after 2 hours and the shaded are limited. Will not repurchase.
Got this in NW10 a few weeks ago and I love love love! So happy Mac brought out these new shades so I finally got to see what all of the fuss is about. Hope they bring out similar shades for the other foundations. I'm used to wearing Lancôme foundations and find this to be reasonably priced on comparison. I apply it with my real technique buffing brush and looks flawless but am planning to splurge on a 187 soon since it seems to be the brush everyone else is using. I find that you really need to set this foundation with a powder to achieve the flawless look. I have normal to dry skin and this suits perfectly. Coverage is good and lasts all day. Definitely a HG for me
I am SO sad that I have to rate this so poorly, because it looks beautiful on and makes my skin flawless! (My skin is so far from it, being acne prone and sensitive) If you have sensitive skin and acne prone skin, I would not recommend this product at all. Or any of their face makeup in general, really. MAC is obviously stuio/stage makeup and thats why it looks so gorgeous on and its why I am extremely upset I cannot use it anymore. I never had an issue with cystic acne, just regular pimples (a lot of them for awhile). My skin has improved quite a bit since high school but it still has a long way to go. When I started using MAC products I began getting the painful cystic acne all under my chin and all along my jawline, it was horrible! As much as the makeup looked awesome on, my skin looked just awful when I took it off. (I really would rather be ok with not having to wear makeup as much than having to always cover it up). Anyway the point is, I am just not blessed with skin that can handle MAC's facial products. And those of you with the same type, please beware I would hate to have you go through what I did with it!
i loveee this product. i am acne prone skin and this foudation doesnt make me break out. The onlyy bad this is the color matching my skin tone. Its soo hard to find the rite color.
