HG status! I am on my second bottle. My first was the 8 oz and it lasted me 4 months, even with everyday use. Love the creamy texture and how clean, fresh, and smooth my face feels post-washing. Love this product!
I love this cleanser! I bought the largest size before which was definitely the best value. When I ran out, I was very short on money and bought a Neutrogena cleanser instead. My skin gradually got worse over the few weeks I used it. Once I bought another bottle of this, my skin looked perfect again in less than a week! I didn't think downgrading would make such a difference but it was crazy how fast my skin improved.
I was actually reluctant to buy this because of the reviews here, but my friend raved about it so I bought a trial size just to see what all the fuss was about.
First of all I don't know what you people are talking about as far as price goes, unless you are comparing it to drug store garbage. I can't use drug store stuff. I have been using Shiseido for years and I do still love that and will probably never switch and it is $35 a tube and that lasts me about 2 months or so. Now, for $20 you get a HUGE bottle that should last one person like 3-4 months or so if you wash your face 2 times a day. So I don't know if you guys are like drinking it or what, but to me compared to what I typically spend on Shiseido this stuff is dirt cheap. Even the small $10 bottle lasted me a long time. That is about the only good thing I can say about this though.
Moving on... this was really drying on my face, and it made my skin feel really tight afterward which is weird because most people find Shiseido to be that way (and that has exfoliating beads in it too, so you would think that it would dry you out more than this creamy stuff). Anyway, I didn't like how it made my skin feel after I got out of the shower. It did remove my make up well, but it was very chemically smelling and tasting. I know you aren't supposed to eat it, but sometimes it gets into your mouth by accident. It just made me wonder what on earth was in it. Also, after using it for a week I had a little bit of a break out on my chin and around my nose. I went back to my Shiseido and that cleared up immediately. It also irritated my cheeks really badly and made them look and feel sunburned. It took me a week to get the inflammation to go back down. :(
I used the rest of the trial sized bottle on my body. I just didn't like it and wouldn't buy it again. Maybe it is good for some people and I do like their body washes (for scent not really for any other benefits) but all in all this isn't for me. Might be good for oily skin though.
This cleanser does a good job at removing makeup, but it dries my skin out. On the plus side, it didn't make me break out. I don't love the price either, so I won't be purchasing this again.
I LOVE this cleanser! I wish it was a little cheaper, but you get what you pay for right? after one week my skin is brighter, my pores are almost non-existant, and my rosacea has calmed a good bit. I love the packaging!

This is a great cleanser. A little goes a long way with this one. I used to only use drugstore cleansers, but this was my first HE cleanser love. I prefer using this in the summer, as it is a bit drying for my skin in the winter. It cleanses my face of all makeup, even waterproof, in one quick wash. No need to scrub at that WP mascara! Only issue is that it's too drying for winter use and sometimes it burns my eyes and makes them red (most cleansers do this though). My 8 oz bottle will probably last me 2 summers lol.
I have combo/sensitive skin. I really loved the consistency of this cleanser and the fact that it didn't totally dry my skin out. Unfortunately, it did cause a horrible breakout after a week of use (and my skin is normally pretty clear) - painful cystic acne and small whiteheads. I have ceased use and 3 days later my skin is already about 50% clear. I wish I could figure out what ingredient caused such a flare, but this has a rather long ingredient list so I guess we'll never know. Please be wary if you have sensitive/reactive skin.
I just purchased my second bottle of this product. I originally purchased the tiny sample size while waiting on line in sephora to purchase other products. I am completely and totally head over heels for this cleanser. I have very oily and very sensitive skin. It didn't dry out my skin at all, it didn't leave behind any type of residue. My skin just feels really clean and balanced.
It also did not irritate my eyes at all and it works well with my clarisonic. By far the best face cleanser I've ever used.
This is a good gentle face wash, removes make up really well, but I don't know if it's contributing to my acne/clogs or not. It doesn't help, but then, it doesn't claim to. My main problem is with the price and what it does for the price. It's good but does not work miracles, actually it doesn't really do anything other than being a basic cleanser that removes makeup well and does nothing else really. So far the only thing I've found that I like better is a LOT more $$$. I said yes I'll repurchase this but only if I don't find something better. This is my 3rd bottle of this, 1 of which was a liter, and I've been using it for 2 years, so that search hasn't been going so well lol. But honestly im sick of spending the money. I think I'll try cetaphil next.
I had a little 3 fl oz sample of the purity cleanser and it has lasted for a decently long time for how small the bottle was. I always used a cream cleanser to remove my makeup first before using this cleanser so I don't know how well it removes makeup but I think it was good for removing whatever might have been leftover from my first cleanse. The cleanser is gentle and it left my face feeling clean without feeling stripped. I love the creamy texture. I will try other cleansers out and if nothing seems better then I will repurchase it.
