I would probably use this as a treatment weekly for clarifying. I have switched to Aveda haircare, but this is a great drugstore product. It rinses clean really well, nice smell, but my hair began to feel stripped when I was using this every single day.
This is a really good shampoo, I have really oily hair, and this helps clean out my hair every now and then. It is really cheap.
I just finished a huge bottle of this shampoo. My hair texture is wavy and little thick. My scalp tends to get oily. This product works great on my hair, leaves it clean. My scalp feels clean. It balances my hair really well, It doesn't get dry or oily just right, if that makes sense. I don't use a lot of hair products, but this shampoo will clean anything left by hair products. Super inexpensive!
I love this shampoo, it cleans thoroughly without stripping the hair. The scent is nice too, very fresh. I use it once a week to get rid of product build up and when I follow it with a good moisturizing conditioner it leaves my hair really clean, shiny, and bouncy.

I use this shampoo about once a week. When I used to use it daily, I did notice that it would leave my scalp feeling a little on the dry side. Now, I only use this just to give my oily hair a good clean scrub down at the end of the week. Other than that, though, this shampoo leaves my hair feeling clean and fairly smooth. Not bad for something that costs less than $2.
Also, I think someone else mentioned this, but this shampoo is great for cleaning makeup brushes. Always leaves my MAC 187 looking nicely bright and white!

As someone who has used other clarifying shampoos, such as Neutrogena, Herbal Essences, Tresemme, and Pantene, this product sucked. I still had tons of build-up after repeated use of this product. It was like a regular shampoo. It didn't do its job. My hair felt itchy and oily until I finally went out and bought a real clarifying shampoo that does its job. The oddest thing was that my hair has never itched like this before until I started using this shampoo...
Love this shampoo. I have VERY dry hair so only use it once every couple months. However, it works well to get all the shampoo build up out and my hair always feels softer and (weirdly) more moisturized after. Oh, I also ALWAYS use this before I dye my hair. I think the color "sticks" better. I'm a product junky but haven't even tried another clarifying shampoo in years.

WOW, I reallllly love this shampoo. I've also used the Neutrogena Anti-Residue Shampoo, and while it is very good the Suave Daily Clarifying is just as good if not a bit better. Price-wise this can't be beat. I got a huuuuge family size bottle at Target for $1.27!! It'll last forever and doesn't even make a dent in your bank account YAY :) In the winter I wash my hair every other day, so I like to use a clarifying shampoo so it feels very clean. This gives the result of super clean but not stripped of moisture hair! Scent is faint, hardly noticeable in fact. My hair is soft after using this. I'm so very happy I saw the reviews for this on here, otherwise I'd probably never touch it... who knew? Suave is the best "get your hair really clean" shampoo!! try this, it blows pricey rip-off shampoos out of the water (pun? lol)

I love this shampoo! I used this shampoo for a couple of years, and I recently decided I wanted to try some other shampoos. After trying a couple other brands, I haven't found anything that even comes close for me. I love the way this shampoo makes my hair feel clean without making it a tangled mess and without making it feel too dry. The price is great, too. The only part that could be better is the packaging. I would prefer a pump or a lid that screws off. But, for the price, the packaging issue won't stop me from buying it again!
Whenever I need drugstore shampoo I always come back to this! I bought it at a dollar store once to take on a 3 week trip to Europe and have loved it since. You can find it at every major and minor drugstore and grocer. I have super oily hair, like super oily to the point if the shampoo isn't clear I just toss it knowing there's too many moisturizers in it. This fits the bill and for $1.50!! It has a plesant scent and really de-greases. I lather up twice daily with this shampoo and it keeps me clean all day! Not so with most of the expensive supposed clarifying shampoos at the drugstore and salon. I do prefer ISO Pure Cleanse when I have access to a beauty supply discount (thanks mom!) but since I've been out of college making my own money I don't like bugging mom for free pro shampoo if she's not already going to buy her own. I always always fill in with Suave Clarifying.
They also recently (as of Oct 2008) changed the scent. I did my first lather with an old bottle that I finished, did the 2nd lather with a new bottle and realized it smelled different. Little more feminine, but still "shampoo-y" so that guys can still use it too. Don't know how much it lingers because I use styling products that tend to have stronger scent.
