Am I the only one who doesn't like these? I love the colours but the polishes chip too easily, even with a top coat!
Hmm, let's just say I used to adore OPI but now I think they're just okay. These feelings started when I tried on China Glaze 2NITE! Absolutely beautiful!!! Then I tried ChG Shower Together! Stunning! OPI and my lust after their colours just went down the drain for me!I I give it two lippies because of the wide range of colours and the long-lasting quality (yes, these do last a bit longer than my now beloved China Glaze's, but only by a day or so. These are also too pricey, my budget just can't handle them! ChG is less than half the price of a bottle of OPI when I purchase off h2t (including shipping costs) and I live in NZ. I only have one fave right now that's by OPI and that's Bastille My Heart, otherwise I really don't like OPI. Also, they don't have enough *exciting* colours - their ranges just bore me most of the time! I probably won't be purchasing OPI's unless there's one that really captures my eye; but that's unlikely. I'm moving on to China Glaze!!

I love OPI nail polishes. Its worthless to buy a cheaper polish, but these at around 5-8 $ work amazing. The color is long lasting, highly pigmented, not very streaky. It applies smoothly and dries fairly fast. I'd say it can last a week without chips ! Maybe a little more, or a little less depending on what you do or if you applied the proper bases.
I have the say the top coat product is a little strange though, it creates cracks that are only noticeable when I hold my nails in the light- but this could be due to that I don't have a lot of experience with nail polishes.
Nail artists use OPI all around the world- it really is a great brand to go with and their color range is amazing.
fantastic nail polishes.
the best around. great colours. cute names.
can be bought v cheaply online.
only set back is the new brush is too wide...?
Love OPI polishes!!!! There is always a really wide choice of colors, nice texture. What I don't like - is the big bottle, but it's OK :-))
I have recently bought Elephantastic Pink from India collection an now I am enjoying it!!!
AMAZING nail polish. Beautiful colors, fabulous quality--they go on smoothly, just the right thickness, and have brilliant color quality. It only takes about two coats to get the full vibrancy I want, and then with a top coat, it lasts forever.
I love their gold-toned pinks, especially.
I love OPI nail polishes! I really like the fact that these come in such fun and bright colors yet they still have the pinks, reds, and neutrals. I'm a sucker for greens, blues, and purples and OPI has some of the nicest shades. The application is very smooth and glides on nicely. Some colors do need a few coats but that isn't too much of a hassle.
I had never used OPI until about 2 weeks ago. I wanted to see how good these were, after reading that it was a great long lasting polish. I gave 3 stars, purely because I think the range of colous is awesome - I dont know of another nail polish brand that can match OPI in terms of colour choice. I also love the look of the bottle - really nice packaging.
However...I was expecting this polish to stay on and on. I even used a good base coat that was made to prolong polish wear and enhance durability. I also used a top coat. I have to say that OPI polish did NOT last the test of time, in fact it started chipping the very next day after application. Not impressed. IMO, apart from the choice of colours, I wouldnt bother again. Oh, did I mention that I had to apply 3 coats to get over that streaky look...Can someone please tell me (apart from the colours) why there is so much fuss about OPI???
This is the only polish I will buy again and again. It is very opaque so you don't have to cake it on, and nice and shimmery. There is a HUGE variety of shades (which all have very unique and fun names!) and many shades of the same color. The only problem I have had with OPI is the bottle... which when you let it sit a long time and it gets dried... the cap is IMPOSSIBLE to remove.
First, I'll start by stating the obvious... OPI has the best colors & hand down the best names for their colors out of any nail polish brand out there! I couldn't even begin to list all of the colors that I own & there isn't enough room to list all of the colors that I would like to purchase =).
However, I did take 1 lippie away from OPI because I find that their brushes can be a bit goofy at times & I don't think OPI has the "lasting power" that Shiseido or Essie have (it's not bad though, don't get me wrong, there's just better out there.)
A few of my fav. OPI colors:
Shanghi Simmer (HG)
My Auntie Drinks Chianti
Blushingham Palace
Fruit Punch
