I've jumped onto the Dream Matte bandwagon! And I'm glad I did! I got the wrong color boohooooo it's too pink/light for me, but it blends in very well! The coverage is sheer, so the color difference is not obvious at all (but if you're looking for a full coverage powder - this is not the one). Keeps my T-zone (which is all I need it for, really) matte better than any has ever. Maybelline Dream Matte powder > Mac Studio Fix powder fdtn. I love the smooth finish this gives my skin. Yayy! continued >>

I love this powder! It is so wonderful, it leaves skin matte and nice looking. I have been using it for so long and don't really have a desire to switch. I have combination skin, so i do have to keep reaplying throughout the day to control the oilyness, but it really doesn't get cakey or chalkey or anything. I actually just usually wear it alone and it has pretty good coverage for red areas and stuff. It also makes my pores look smaller which is nice. It just gives me a nice natural looking matte, i would highly recommend it to anyone that doesn't have dry skin (sometimes it makes my dry areas flake, usually in the winter). I also love the packaging, it is so managable and easy to use.

Oh god , I LOVE this powder. It's light , it's fresh & MATTE ! Haha . Anyways , this is a really good drugstore powder that does its job and really does keeps you matte. I got this in the shade beige & I love how it is affordable and nice & will probably last a while .The product didn't break me out so thats a go (: I use this with Revlon Colorstay foundation for oily/combination skin & it looks so pretty . If you have skin that is in tip top shape then you can use this alone too providing a flawless look . It's easy to wash off and it's really handy too especially with the sliding mirror (: give this a try you'll adore it ! continued >>

I can't say enough great things about this powder. It gives a flawless, non-cakey look and controls oil throughout the day. I've used it as a setting powder and as a touch up after blotting mid-day. On occasion, when I'm feeling really lazy, I use it right on top of my oily face without bothering to blot first. It never gets cakey. Reasonable price, and easily accessible at any drugstore.
I do agree the compact is kind of stupid, but I never use the puff anyway. Just throw it out. Otherwise you end up storing the used puff on top of the mirror and covering it with powder. I use this with a kabuki brush and love it.
The colour's great... I got the lightest shade and it matched my skin perfectly with its more greyish undertones! Also looked natural and never cakey!! Stays matte. For the cheap price and for how long it lasts, I think this is my staple powder!

Ever since going off BC, my skin has turned into an oil slick. I mean an OIL SLICK, ugh. It's really sucked going from having normal to dry skin, to really oily skin. A few weeks ago, I decided I needed to find a good mattifying powder to use after blotting, otherwise I was just oily a couple hours later. I've previously used MAC Blot Powder, and while it was really good, I'm almost positive it clogged my pores (I'm also ridiculously acne-prone, lovely!). I've seen lots and lots of reviews for the Maybelline Dream Matte p/p, so I decided to take a chance when I found it on sale and had a coupon. I gotta say, I really like this stuff! I loved it so much that I started using it to set my makeup, as well as for touch-ups, and it really helps keep me matte much longer. I now only need to touch-up once a day, and sometimes not even that (if combined with a long-wearing, oil-controlling foundation). If you're oily, this is definitely worth a shot! I'm glad I took a chance, and I would definitely purchase this again as long as it keeps working so well for me.

Packaging's pretty neat, but don't quite fancy the idea of having the powder puff being laid flat down on the mirror. Very sheer coverage, works best as a setting powder & no matter how much you apply, you'll never be able to "overdo" it. Really fantastic as a touch-up powder.
My very 1st Maybelline product and it has already impressed me this much (: continued >>
i like this, i really do, and it is really good for a drugstore powder, it's currently my everyday powder because it gives just a tiny bit of coverage with an AMAZING finish, HOWEVER, compared to the mac blot powder, this doesn't seem as good.
the blot powder can keep me matte all day long, and i also use it under my eyes to keep my eyeliner from smudging. it works amazingly. the dream matte can keep me matte for a bit more than 4 hours, so yes i will keep using it, but i'd rather save up my money for the blot powder. i have extremely oily skin though, so if you have dry skin, or normal skin, or just slightly oily skin (combination included), i highly suggest you try it!
the mac one i use for special occasions, when i really want that nice finish, and want my concealer to stay (i use concealer + powder on a daily basis, so u can c how a good powder would be pretty important for me)
EDIT: recently tried the palladio rice powder, which has a slightly less satiny and more matte finish than this one but it keeps me matte for about the same as the blot powder! its dirt cheap too, to boost. so if ur a bit too oily for this powder, dont need the convenience of a pressed powder, and don't want to waste money on the mac blot, go check out the palladio rice powder!

I actually have mixed feelings about this product. My dermatologist told me that pressed powders clog your pores more than liquid foundation ever could and is even more difficult to get out (something that I've noticed after using this).
I love that it can be used during travels and everything so it's convenient for those busy days but not something I would recommend for every day use. I'm starting to notice my pores getting larger and my blackheads becoming more abundant. Something I have NEVER had a problem with before I started using this pressed powder.
