I am so dissipointed in this eyeliner. I bought it specifically for the waterline and I cannot even get the color to show up. The color looks fine when I swatch it on my hand but it will not show up on my waterline. Really dissipointed.
Pros:
- pencil doesn't break when sharpening.
- cap actually stays on the end of the pencil.
- goes on really smoothly without skipping.
- pigmented.
Cons:
- SMUDGES.
- smudges a little less when TFSI is used on lower lid.
In other words, I'm moving on when I'm done with this pencil.

So back in the fall I was looking for homecoming makeup and I heaed over to Sephora. I normally wear eyeliner on my waterline, and because I have watery eyes, I really needed something that would stay on my waterline. The saleslady directed me over to these, saying they were "gel-based" and therefore would last hours on my waterline. I picked up 2L or Pearly Brown, and the color was GORGEOUS, but did it last on my waterline? Heck no. It doesn't even last an hour. My usual $3 NYC waterproof pencil last longer than these, which cost about $16 at Sephora. Nonetheless, I loved the color, and I've found that applying this pencil over a little powder to set it makes it last on the waterline, however I don'tdo that often since I hate getting powder in my eye. I will continue to buy these until I find a color a color match (it really is pretty) but I wouldn't recommend these to anyone.
I love this eyeliner and was actually surprised to see as many negative reviews as it has. I've never had a problem with smudging or fading as some other people have been complaining about. In fact, I've never had a day where it looked any different at the end of the day than it did when I put it on in the morning. I even took this product backpacking with me last month and it always survived my crazy days of hiking around Europe. I was very impressed with this eyeliner. I've almost always applied it while also wearing primer and eyeshadow.. not sure if that makes a difference in why I'm not seeing any fading throughout the day or not, but it might be. I would definitely buy this product again.
What a joke! Sephora sells this eyeliner as one of their best, blah, blah, blah. The black is not even a true black, fades and smears within an hour, nothing waterproof here. Another advertising gimmick!
I as many of you got this product in Sephora, also recommended by one of the ladies working there... but, I like it, it stays on and the color is dark black
This is by far the best liner I've ever worked with. The color is VERY pigmented. The trick to this liner is speed. I usually smoke out the outer corner (top and bottom) so it doesn't look too harsh. However, keep in mind that you only got a few seconds to work with. Once it "drys", it stays there. If you got oily eyes like me, give this a try: put some anti-oil primers on your lids first (mac matt or mufe matt), line your eyes, smudge if you want the look, gently go over it with black shadows (ie mac carbon).

I bought this for tightlining because I was sick and tired of having black fallout under my eyes. This came highly recommended by a Sephora MA. The color looked great when I tightlined my upper lids, but it felt awful. It was very sticky, and it never got any better. I washed my face after an hour. I also tried it as a liner. Let me say up front I don't like lining with a pencil, but I gave it a whirl anyway. I did not like it as an eyeliner, either. If you are great with eye pencils, you might love this liner. It doesn't budge. Will return.
Wow! I was turned onto this eyeliner by a swap i did earlier this year. The girl I swapped with sent me a small one as an extra and I fell in love I was a huge fan of MAC's engraved pencil because one it was darrrrk and two it was like a waterproof. But oh my am I in love! this eyeliner goes on soo smoothly, it's blaaack, and it stays on forever! Love it love it love it! Times ten!
