Great product. I have super curly hair which can get really dry. I used (and loved) Aveda Elixir for years, but they discontinued it about a year back, and since then I have tried tons of other products from both the salon and the drug store. I honestly think this is the best of the lot, and it is insanely cheap. I follow it with either the Aveda Flax Seed and Aloe gel or with DevaCurl Angell and my curls stay perfect. What more can I ask for?

I'm usually a salon hair product person but I needed a leave in conditioner in a hurry so I grabbed this at the drug store. It works pretty well, I have really dry hair and the winter was making it worse. I could without a doubt find something better but not for the less than $3 I paid for this stuff. I used Rusk moist ends before this and did not see much of a difference between the two. What I dislike the most is the bottle, it's too wide to easily hold in your hand.
I have alot of split ends & frizzy dry hair. By the way, I straighten my hair alot. This product controls my hair from the frizz just a bit and moisturize my hair. & no, it doesnt last all day for me ): Also, I hate the feel of it & the smell. continued >>
I bought this product a while ago on a whim because my hair is kind of dry and damaged. This really did nothing to help my hair at all. It made my hair kind of dull and greasy looking, even though i used it on soaking wet hair and i only used a tiny bit. I cant imagine going through a whole bottle of this stuff since i hardly ever use it. Even if i somehow lost this bottle, i wouldnt repurchase. I am not too crazy for the smell either.
This is an excellent product. My over processed hair sucks it up like a sponge. It smells nice and leaves my hair smoother and more manageable. My boyfriend uses it on his very curly hair and it looks great. It's inexpensive and easy to find. I've tried many expensive leave-in conditioners and I think I like this one the best. My hair is fine and leave-ins can sometimes weigh it down or leave it greasy looking but this one doesn't. I highly recommend it.
This is a good leave in conditioner. It makes your hair soft, and does help frizz die down a bit. It is a very large bottle and does last a while, even on my hair which is very long. It also smells good, but it's not over powering or anything. It works best if you put it in your hair when it's wet rather than dry though.
I'm now on my second bottle of this so Yes I would repurchase. I really like this stuff, makes my hair soft and less frizzy. I don't really suffer from frizz, I just like the way it conditions. This bottle is huge and will last someone with long hair Forever, I mean like a year.. so its well worth the money. I use very very little of this b/c if too much is applied I will have a weird film on my hair. and I only use this every other day. My hair for the most part is pretty healthy..
Love this stuff..
I love this stuff! My hair has an insane amount of frizz and poof. I have very long hair, that is mainly straight but still has a little bit of wave (I straighten it everyday).
When I get out of the shower I towel dry my hair, put about a quarter size amount of this into my hair, and leave it up under a towel for about 5-10 minutes, depending on how lazy I am about blow drying my hair.
Before I blow dry, I use BTZ get'n creamed and Sunsilk heat protecting blow dry serum. For the first time in years, my frizz has gone down dramatically, with the combo of these 3 products. Also the poof subsides, although blow drying my hair always makes it poofy.
I will definitely keep using this, and will rebuy when I run out, it's so cheap! love!
Initially, I bought this product to see how it would work with my mousse in terms of frizz control. Now, before I start with the review let me talk about my hair. About a year ago I decided to change my hair color. No big deal, right? Wellllll, after 5 years of dying it black I was going to need to bleach it out and since my friend is a stylist, she offered to color it for me free of charge. Any salon would have charged me an arm and a leg to bleach the black out, so this was a no-brainer for me (at the time, anyway). So the first time she tried to bleach my hair I guess she didn't use one that was strong enough, so the color didn't lift very much. It was mostly dark, dark brown with patches of orange here and there (ACK!), so she did another round of bleach. Needless to say, I'm never letting her touch my hair again. LOL
Well by the time all was said and done I was happy with the color, but my beautiful curls were fried to DEATH and turned into these kinky, incredibly ugly waves. Much to my horror, they eventually started breaking off and falling out in clumps. I used to have hair down to my waist and gradually ended up with a length just above my shoulder with all the breakage and necessary trimming.
I was absolutely devastated. I vowed to let my hair grow out and not to mess with the color AT ALL (even to cover the greys), but when it came to styling I HAD to do something. So I started using a curling iron, which made my hair look beautiful yet severely exacerbated my breakage problem. I also had to go through a long drawn out process after every shower of putting tons of mousse in my hair so as to hold the curls when using the iron and minimizing the frizz (this is why I bought the leave-in conditioner, to help with my frizz problem). Whenever I'd leave the house I'd need at least an hour to work on my hair alone.
One day I just got tired of all the tedious crap in my routine and decided to leave my hair be for once. I just put in a handfull of this conditioning cream and went to bed. When I got up in the morning I was amazed to see that not only was my hair free of frizz, the curls actually looked beautiful (the way they used to) without any help from the curling iron or the mousse! I was absolutely ELATED that I didn't have to spend so much money on a product that left my hair looking good, yet feeling so dry and crunchy. The best part was that I didn't have to inflict any more damage on my hair with the curling iron. For the first time since EVER I had beautiful curls, with no frizz that was incredibly SOFT. Even when my hair was healthy I used to put TONS of mousse in it, having tried so many other alternatives yet finding nothing that would give me the look I wanted without drying my hair out.
This product was an absolute GODSEND. It keeps my curls beautifully intact, eliminates the need for tedious, damaging routines, expensive, drying products, and keeps my hair very easy to manage while it is still halfway to being fully healthy again! Now, I'm not saying it is a miracle product that will reverse any kind of chemical damage to your hair. Not by a long shot. By the time I discovered the benefits of using this conditioner on it's own, my hair had already grown out halfway (to my shoulders). But it was just the boost my hair needed to look it's best.
I've tried other leave-in conditioners and products of the same nature (both drug store and insanely expensive high end), but none of them have the thick, creamy consistency this one does to help hold my hair into place without the frizz. I can not even begin to describe how happy and relieved I am to have found it! The only thing I'm not too crazy about is the scent (apple-like), but I really don't care! It gets 5 lippies from me for performance alone. Will continue to repurchase again and again and again.
