I know there is a lot of hype around this product, but it really is great!
it's not a concealer by the way, rather a highlighter, if your under eye bags aren't too bad, you probably could get away with using this as a concealer.
I will use it on top of concealer when I go out, and I find it looks beautiful and refreshing, it doesn't settle into lines, and it really does make you look radiant. Also works very well when used on the brow bone as a highlighter.
The best use I believe for this product is more of an "under eye highlighter" to be worn over concealer when you want to look flawless for a special occasion, for that reason, I do believe it is worth giving a try. I have very dark under eye bags, that take a very good concealer to be covered, and even then they don't really ever fully do the trick. When I wear touche eclat on top however, they disappear, and the result is flawless radiance.
The price on the other hand is a bit much, I have not found a cheaper version of this product as of yet, but I am looking, I believe it's about $80AU which is more expensive than most EXTREMELY high end foundations. If you look on ebay however, you should be able to find it much cheaper than in the shops.
Give it a go, if you're looking for a special occasion product! Use it every day and you'll be needing to buy another in less than two months (trust me)
Excellent as a highlighter but too expensive, considering I can get the same prduct somewhere else much cheaper.
Lasts for a while is a plus, being marketed as a concealer is a minus because it does not hide a single thing on me.
A perennial favourite, until that is I discovered the marvel that is By Terry's Touche Veloutée. The latter outperforms on several fronts: consistency, shade choice, blendability, ease of application, general appearance on skin and, lastly, sizing.
In short, these products are in different leagues.
this is the perfect under-eye concealer. nothing else compares (other than MAC moisture cover concealer, which is just as perfect).
the colour is realistic and pinky :D and not yellow ( shade No 1 )
I use one or two pumps and put it onto my finger to get the full amount of product out. and then onto my eyes with my finger.
one pump for a natural look without foundation. and two pumps for a fuller look with foundation.
if you just use the brush to apply you won't get the full amount of product as it will absorb into the brush. saying that, no matter how lightly I blend, most of the product absorbs onto my finger rather than my eyes. it's better to pat I think. this also seems very thin and light in coverage, which doesn't help when blending.
apart from this being disgustingly priced, it is a very good product.
it would be my favourite but it's just too expensive. I bought 2 of these and used them up until I found MAC moisture cover (which is much better value for money). but I won't buy anymore touche eclat. this should retail for £15-17 tops.
even if this fits into your budget and your prepared to pay that much for an under-eye concealer, I still don't think it's worth it.
This is a nice product. It looks really natural on my skin but in my opinion the coverage is not that good although its buildable. But there is one thing I absolutely love about the touche eclat: you can put it on even after foundation and powder and it will still look natural and will not crumble or something like that. And until now this is the only product I know which works this way. However one point less because of the coverage.
I like this product, but have one problem usin it. The problem is, when I click it about 3-5 times no product comes out. I have used it about 20 times, really small amounts at a time. In the beginning it was coming out fine, but now .... :S
I have washed and dried it, but nothing helps. It seems like it has run out of product.
I bougth it on ebay for about 10 pounds. Can it be that I got a faulty product? Has anyone else had that kind of experience?
very sheer translucent highligher/corrector. i find it works best round the eyes to reduce "sleepy" eyes or discolored eyes. its sheer tent gives a pearl type sheen which is also great above the eyebrows or along the very high of the cheek bone. also works well to highlight the lip and chin. i frankly love this product. i wish however it would come in a tube as apposed to a brush tip applicator. it makes sanitation an issue for working artist. i only use this on myself.
I recieved a tube of this from a girlfriend who's an absolute YSL lover, so I was prepared to give it a go considering it was free.
Initial reaction was that it was a nice highlighter, but the concealing power was pretty meh. I've been using it on my dark undereye circles and in the dark creases around my nose and it definitely brightens up the area nicely. However in the event of an actual blemish, it's a total let down. I like the idea of concealing and brightening in a single application but I'm not sure they've perfected it just yet. Probably won't buy this again once my pen runs out, but not going to dismiss potentially trying something similar in the future.
Great product! Makes face looking fresh and beautiful! My all time favourite beauty product! Will buy again and again. I have it in shade Nr.2.
I have to admit that i don't know what the fuss is about. It's a concealer pen at the end of the day. Yes, it's in a clever case that makes it easy to carry in your purse. But other than that, i didn't notice anything special about the actual product.
